All staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay very comfortable. We participated in the stargazing event where we even saw shooting stars—it was so much fun! Wanting to see seasonal starry skies again soon, we've already made our next reservation—we’re

Although it’s a bit far from Shimoda Station, they offer not only a Shuttle Service from the station but also a Shuttle Service to Sotoura Beach. If you plan to relax nearby, you won’t feel inconvenienced at all even without renting a car. There is a complimentary drink bar inside the property, and it was great that we could even enjoy beer and highballs. The pool is also available, and all the staff were very kind and helpful. What stood out most was the excellent service for children. They handed out “Rock-Paper-Scissors Rally Cards,” and if kids won three times against staff members, they received fireworks. At night, we used them to have fun on the beach, and our child was absolutely delighted. Just as the Reviews we checked in advance said, this really is a wonderful Hotel. If we have another chance to visit Shimoda, we would definitely stay here again.

The Onsen pool was wonderful, and I went in many times. I hadn’t brought a swimsuit, but they kindly rented me a cute one! The hot stone sauna was also truly relaxing and warmed me through to the core. My husband loved it and went in again and again. The meals were excellent—bo

Here are the highlights: - The food was delicious The meals were incredibly tasty, and being able to enjoy them in the room at our own pace was great. Since we were traveling with children, having in-room dining was truly helpful. - The pool was absolutely amazing The p

I stayed for one night during the first half of Silver Week. Due to an unfortunate heavy rain warning, I ended up extending my stay (there were occasional power outages, but service was restored quickly), and I was able to enjoy my Hotel stay with my dog without any issues. If I had to mention one thing, the indoor dog run felt like an outdoor shed and seemed a bit old, so I didn’t feel like staying there for long. I would have preferred a brighter indoor space with a cleaner feel. However, the staff were kind and spoke to me warmly, which made me feel very comfortable. The meals were excellent and I was very satisfied.

As this was a preview trip for an upcoming class reunion, it was helpful as a reference for next time. We also fully enjoyed the Onsen, and my friends who traveled with me were very satisfied. Next time, we plan to visit again in late November with my high school classmates. Than

Although we forgot an extension cord for his medical equipment, they kindly lent one to us without hesitation. During meals, they arranged seating so he could easily enjoy views of the outside scenery as well—such thoughtful gestures truly touched us. Even beyond their exception

Thanks to the warm and courteous service, I felt at ease throughout my stay. The location is very convenient if you are traveling by car. For guests arriving by train, a Shuttle Service was also available to Shimoda Station. Because I have many food allergies, I chose a Plan without meals. However, the Accommodation staff kindly recommended local restaurants, and we were fortunate to get a Reservation. I was able to enjoy an outstanding simmered kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), which was absolutely delicious. The young international staff were wonderful as well—their smiles were lovely, their Japanese was excellent, and they worked with great dedication. As someone who can only speak Japanese comfortably, I truly respect them. The bath was also fantastic: the Izu stone in the indoor bath glowed a beautiful blue, and its soft texture felt very pleasant on the skin. The night view of Shimoda Port and the sunset outside the window were stunning. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

The Hotel staff were all very friendly and treated our children kindly. Even on check-in and check-out days, we could still use the pool and parking, which was very considerate and made our stay easy and fulfilling. We could also store valuables in lockers, so it was convenient t

Our family of four stayed in the Black Ship Suite for 2 nights and 3 days. We found this Room last year and had been wanting to stay here. It was spacious and very clean, and outside the window was the black ship (the Susquehanna). It truly was an amazing space! Because we chose a Multiple Night Stay, we spent all of the second day in the Room, enjoying the open-air bath, hinoki bath (cold bath), and sauna all day long. We cooled down on reclining chairs in the large changing area, relaxed in the massage chair, and lounged on the Yogibo—each of us was able to enjoy an incredibly luxurious time. It was also great that the amenities included CHANEL, Dior, Shu Uemura, and more. On the second day, we were happy that not only bath towels but also mineral water, beer and juice in the refrigerator, plus different snacks and sweets from day one were replenished for us. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes with beautiful presentation. Everything was delicious, and both days featured completely different menus (with different ingredients), which showed the chef’s thoughtful care. All of the staff were kind and courteous, and we felt their hospitality came from the heart. Everyone’s smiles were wonderful. After breakfast on day three as we were leaving the restaurant, someone said to us, “Thank you for staying with us for two days,” which surprised us—in a good way—and made us feel grateful as well. The Hotel itself has a Showa-retro sense of age to it, but it became a Hotel we definitely want to return to. (It’s a shame I couldn’t upload photos for some reason.)

We decided on this accommodation after checking reviews on social media and YouTube! The result was amazing!!! Not only were there thoughtful arrangements for the kids, but it was also a truly enjoyable and happy stay for us adults. After giving birth, everything became chi

Although the pool wasn’t open yet for swimming, walking along its side allowed us to relax while enjoying views of mountains and sea as well as listening to birdsong from nightingales or spotting wild birds up close—truly refreshing amidst nature. In the morning there were disco

We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Everything was outstanding—the beautiful Room, the delicious meals, the private bath, and all the Hotel staff. The food in particular was amazing; the course meal made generous use of ingredients from Shimoda, and we could truly savor Shimoda’s richness from start to finish. The Hotel staff were also very kind—helping us with a small mishap in the bath (lol) and explaining each dish clearly. My girlfriend was thrilled, and I’m glad we chose this Hotel. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

We were deeply impressed by such attentive service. There are also plenty of thoughtful services and activities not only for adults but for children as well: the impressive koi feeding experience in the lobby; an in-house stamp rally; not only a Hotel pool but also seaside play

I wanted my grandchildren to swim in the ocean for the first time, so after looking around we chose this Hotel. The sea was very beautiful, and there was also a pool, which was great! There was an indoor play area as well, and my grandchildren seemed very satisfied. We had buffet

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days as a family of five. For those planning to enjoy the beach and pool, this place is perfect. There’s even a small wire on the balcony outside the Room where you can hang swimsuits, allowing them to dry by the next day—very convenient! The buff

It was our first stay at an accommodation with our 8, 5, and 2-year-old children. The kids were thrilled to stay somewhere other than home. They ran around the spacious room, went to the pool twice, and enjoyed the onsen four times in a private setting. If I may suggest, it

It was exactly as expected, and the food was delicious! Even though the fresh sashimi and sushi were all-you-can-eat, the meat was also all-you-can-eat—amazing! I’d love to come back again. The private open-air bath in the room was great as well. Our whole family enjoyed it.

It was very comfortable.

We stayed here on a trip! The first thing that surprised us was how spotless the villa was and how beautiful the design is. The ceilings are high with a partially open atrium, letting in plenty of natural light. No matter where you stand in the living room, the interior design looks stunning—it really lifted our spirits! As sauna lovers, we honestly didn’t have very high expectations for an in-villa sauna, but it exceeded them. Although compact, it has enough seating for about six people, so we could relax comfortably with plenty of space. You can also set the temperature inside and enjoy it at your own pace—it felt amazing! Right outside the sauna is the pool, so we used the pool and jacuzzi as a cold plunge and fully refreshed. Enjoying fresh air while looking up at the sky and watching the pool’s surface in this private space—where you hear only birds and nature—was an incredible experience. We bought local craft beer at a supermarket just 2–3 minutes away by car, and that post-sauna drink was exceptional—honestly one of the best we’ve ever had! We enjoyed BBQ for dinner and slept soundly at night. We had such a fulfilling time just staying at the villa, but since we’re greedy travelers, we also stopped by nearby Shirahama Beach to play for a bit and visited some famous waterfalls before heading home. We were highly satisfied with everything—the villa’s design, Facility, and location!!
