A few days before my stay, I emailed to check on the impact of the heavy rain, and received a courteous reply with detailed information, which reassured me and allowed me to stay with peace of mind. The dining staff casually shared helpful updates, and the next morning provided even more detailed information. Every staff member was pleasant without being overly formal, making my stay very comfortable.

I came here with a friend to relax and unwind in the natural hot spring water. This time we chose a more budget-friendly stay, so we skipped dinner. The Facility has a traditional Japanese design with great atmosphere, and it was truly calming. The hallways are covered with tatami mats, so it felt nice to walk around barefoot. The bath was incredibly relaxing—excellent. I was also able to fully unwind in the lobby. The onsen eggs were delicious, and breakfast was great as well. The Room had beds, so I could relax comfortably. One thing I didn’t expect was how few places there are to eat around the Accommodation. Many restaurants were closed on their regular days off, so finding somewhere for dinner took some effort. Also, when I misplaced something, their courteous support really helped. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and spoke politely—perfect service overall. Highly recommended.

The Accommodation staff were very pleasant, and the Room was thoughtfully designed and comfortable to stay in. I also really appreciated that the Room was arranged just as I had requested. The water provided was the same brand I regularly have delivered at home, which made me so happy. The meals were truly outstanding. I’m a Fukui resident, and I was amazed to see local ingredients transformed into dishes like this—and everything tasted wonderful. The service was attentive and felt polished. The artwork on display and the plants grown in the center created a great atmosphere. The table layout also felt perfectly spaced from other guests, so it really felt like we could enjoy a delicious meal with just the right amount of privacy, leaving me completely satisfied overall. People from outside the prefecture often ask me about Fukui, so lately I’ve been staying in Fukui and around Kaga to experience things for myself—and this is a place I’d like to recommend to my local friends as well. I’d love to visit the restaurant again. Thank you for such an enjoyable time. *The bath area was clean, but I rated it “4” because it would have been even better if it had an Onsen. That said, it was more convenient than many typical Hotels—so it’s closer to a 5 than not. Since there are plenty of Onsen nearby, I also thought it would be fine to visit a day-use Onsen the next day.*

This was our first trip to Mikuni, and also our first time staying overnight there. Our child couldn’t wait to get into the hot springs, so we checked in almost as soon as check-in opened. We headed straight to the baths with our child. Because the bath can be reserved for private use by a family, we could relax without worrying about other guests and truly enjoy it. Both the indoor bath and the open-air bath were a comfortable size, with just the right water temperature. After bathing, dinner began. We had Wakasa beef steak and a whole grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) seasoned with salt. The vinegared dishes and chawanmushi were also delicious. My partner was especially happy with the perfectly balanced salt seasoning on the nodoguro! We were also delighted by the owner’s warm hospitality. Our child was thrilled too—hamburg steak, fried shrimp, and more made for a very happy dinner! The owner told us about local fish and Mikuni specialties such as momi-wakame seaweed, which made for a truly meaningful time. Then all three of us enjoyed another private bath together—my wife and child were both very satisfied! We all went to bed at 9 p.m., then headed back to the baths first thing in the morning. After that came breakfast—the moment we’d been waiting for. Drinks were plentiful too, including green smoothies and orange juice! For breakfast, we adults had mackerel, while our child had salmon; both were exceptionally tasty. The owner also recommended visiting Mikuni’s roadside station (Michi-no-Eki) to look for souvenirs, which helped make this one-night trip feel wonderfully complete. It’s a small inn, but thanks to their kindness toward children—and an excellent balance of meals, baths, and service—we had an outstanding stay. There seems to be a resort hotel near Tojinbo as well, but we’re glad we chose Kaze no Mori instead. Thank you very much.

I loved the Japanese-modern exterior and the chic, calming interior. The guest room had a high ceiling, and the alcove lantern added a wonderful Japanese ambiance—I could really feel the good taste in the design. I heard there are only about 10 rooms in total, so the Onsen was never crowded and I could soak at my leisure. Dinner featured a wide variety of dishes using summer vegetables, seasonal fish, and local ingredients; I was very satisfied with the gentle seasoning. The edamame potage is something I’d love to have again. Breakfast also offered plenty of options and more than enough food—above all, the rice was delicious. From welcome to farewell, I felt truly high-quality service in every interaction with the staff. It was a stay that reminded me how glad I am to choose a Ryokan again after such a long time. Highly recommended Accommodation!

Everyone at the Hotel welcomed us with warm smiles, making our stay very comfortable and relaxing. The large public bath was great, with a shampoo bar and a selection of hair dryers from brands like ReFa and YA-MAN, which was fun to try. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my parents’ golden wedding anniversary, as my mother had long wished to stay in a room with an ocean view. First of all, our room was right in front of the elevator. Since I had mentioned that my father has difficulty walking, I believe they kindly arranged it to minimize his burden. The food was surprisingly delicious across the board, and the staff were wonderful. The room, bath, and toilet were all very clean, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail throughout—truly a fantastic hotel. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, but we were completely satisfied. Next time, we’d love to come back on a sunny day! Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was completely full (and they were delicious). I also received a great-value coupon, which let me buy lots of souvenirs. I would like to visit again.

We visited as a family of four. Our kids, who love pools, were especially excited. At the front desk, we received bath towels for each person and locker keys before heading over. There is an indoor pool, and separate saunas for men and women next to the pool to warm up after getting chilled. There’s also an outdoor area with several kick scooters, which the kids enjoyed. There’s a dinosaur maze and dinosaur-themed displays too, so it was fun even before visiting the Dinosaur Museum. There is a park next to the parking lot. I noticed some dirt in the hallway on our guestroom floor, but otherwise everything felt acceptable.

This was our first time staying at a Hotel affiliated with Ooedo Onsen! Due to our schedule, we checked in late and could only get a dinner Reservation for 8:30 PM, but we had plenty of fun in the meantime—playing table tennis as a family and enjoying the Onsen. The kids were thrilled! At night, we borrowed UNO and had a great time together. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent—the sushi and steak were amazing! Everyone went back for multiple bowls of seafood rice bowls in the morning. The Facility is a bit old, and the air conditioner was quite loud, but the overall enjoyment more than made up for it. The Room was very spacious too. We’d love to stay again!

This was my second stay. The food already has an excellent reputation, and everything I tried was truly delicious—especially the desserts. I’ve had many buffet-style meals before, and this is my No. 1. The financiers served in the lounge as a late-night snack were also very tasty. The baths go without saying. I also appreciated that the service wasn’t overbearing. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

A sudden long weekend came up, so I stayed here to visit the dinosaur museum I’d been wanting to go to for a while. The parking attendant was kind and reassuring. The building felt spacious and dignified, yet warm and welcoming—really lovely. The room was also large, and the in-room bath and toilet were clean and comfortable. After a long drive I wanted to take a nap, so when I called the front desk they promptly came to lay out the futon, which I really appreciated. I tried three different baths, and each one was at just the right temperature—not too hot or too lukewarm. The basket given at the front desk was perfect for going from bath to bath. Since we were leaving early in the morning on short notice, we chose a room-only plan this time, but next time I’d like to enjoy the meals as well. For reference, there’s an izakaya within walking distance where we ate dinner, but I recommend making a reservation.

As this was a “reasonably priced” Room, it was located directly beneath the restaurant. As expected, we didn’t hear chair-scraping or footsteps much, but the sound of people running around carried quite a bit. The chair noise in particular was really loud. However, this trip was just for two adults and we weren’t specifically looking for complete quiet—and since we also used that restaurant for meals, it was within an acceptable range. The Room was spacious and very clean, though it did feel a bit dated. We were told there would be no view, but given the location, it wasn’t like another building blocked everything or we couldn’t see outside at all. If you shifted your gaze slightly, you could enjoy a nature-filled view of Fukui’s wide-open fields, which we were very happy with. The restaurant buffet had a great variety and everything was delicious—I ate too much. It seemed seared bonito (tataki) was the featured item this time; I could only get it once, but it was excellent. The other seafood was also tasty, and there were grilled and fried dishes as well—an indulgent buffet that everyone from kids to seniors can enjoy. Above all else, the Onsen was wonderful. I didn’t realize Awara Onsen is not overly hot. There were also two open-air baths, so guests could take turns enjoying them without crowding—everyone’s good manners made us feel lucky. We stayed here because we had a memorial service in Fukui Prefecture, but there were so many things to enjoy inside the Accommodation—a table tennis area and manga corner—and there was even a morning market held in the lobby. One night wasn’t enough. Next time I’d love to come back for sightseeing at a more relaxed pace. Thank you as well for providing Shuttle Service to Awaraonsen Station.

We stayed at this Accommodation after spending the day at Shibamasa World. Most other Accommodations require check-in by 18:00–18:30 if you have meals included, but this one allowed check-in until 19:00, which gave us more flexibility, so we chose it. We were happy that we could choose the main dish and each of us could pick what we liked. The food was luxurious and delicious, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Our children were also pleased to have a kaiseki meal instead of a buffet, and everything was delicious. They also happily ate the kids’ menu. The Room was spacious, with plenty of space even for our family of five. The bedding was mattresses rather than futons; I usually wake up with body aches, but perhaps because it distributed pressure well, I woke up without pain—actually better than usual. The bath wasn’t very large, with one indoor bath and one open-air bath, but it was relaxing and felt great. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

I use this Hotel when traveling to Hokuriku for work. It had been about a year since my last stay, and the staff’s smiles make this a truly relaxing place. Because I’m here for work, my arrival time is uncertain and I leave early in the morning, so I always book No Meals Included. The Room is kept very clean, and the magnifying mirror at the sink is really helpful when putting on makeup. I’m not sure if every Room has one, but it’s a nice touch. The larger-than-usual refrigerator is also convenient. Ice packs don’t freeze completely solid, but they do freeze to some extent. The Onsen is spacious and stylishly designed. The open-air bath is deep, and there’s a large stone inside that works like a seat—you can adjust your height, which is great. There’s also a cold bath, and I appreciate that it isn’t too cold. This time I arrived in the early evening, so I went out for dinner while taking a walk around the Onsen town. It’s within walking distance, which gave me one more thing to look forward to. I’ll continue staying with No Meals Included—thank you again for your hospitality.

It felt just like a nostalgic Ryokan, and I was able to relax at a very leisurely pace. The bath was also very pleasant, and I was satisfied with the wide variety of breakfast options.

I thought the temaki sushi dinner was a really great idea. It looks like the kids would enjoy it too. The bath is also an Onsen, and my skin felt so smooth afterward. The view is outstanding!! It’s right in front of Sunset Beach. I hope I can come again...

It was a clean Accommodation. There were three Rooms, and they were very spacious—more than enough for a family of four. Coffee beans were also provided, so we could enjoy a relaxing cup in the morning. We didn’t use the bath this time, but it was clean.

We stayed as a family of five for a birthday trip. The narrow path from the parking lot to Lapita Resort is a bit challenging, but the moment we opened the door and saw the breathtaking ocean view, we were amazed. Not only that, but there was also a spacious wooden deck with a pool about 60cm deep, which made our kids absolutely thrilled! At night, the area was beautifully lit up; however, this attracted an unusual number of beetles diving into the pool, making it quite an effort to remove them. The sauna was equipped with sauna suits and hats for everyone in our group, allowing us to enjoy it comfortably. There is also access to the coastline through another door; however, please be cautious as there are many sea insects in that area. Overall, every angle offered photo-worthy views and we had such a wonderful time. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you very much!

We stayed in a special room. The service during the meal was excellent. We had the pufferfish course, and we would have been happier if it had been a bit more luxurious. Given the reasonable price, we were satisfied overall. Thank you very much.
