The soft spring water was gentle on our skin, so much so that we bathed three times during our stay. We also received thoughtful hospitality from the lovely young proprietress, making this an unforgettable trip. Thank you so much! We look forward to visiting again during crab sea

They also provided a TV that can watch YouTube, which was a big help while I was busy. The massage chair was wonderful too. With such well-equipped Facilities, both parents and children were extremely satisfied. On the way home, the kids said with teary eyes, “That was so fun—we

The proprietress, attendants, and all staff were friendly, kind, and created a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay very pleasant. In the lounge, there was an unlimited supply of Onsen eggs to enjoy along with coffee, alcohol, and ice bars. The meals were visually delightful a

This was our first stay as a couple. The room, bath, and service were all excellent—truly a perfect Ryokan with no complaints. We had high expectations for dinner after hearing that Giants players praised the buffet last year, and it exceeded them. Every dish, including desserts

The Room was wonderful as well: a Japanese-Western style room with beds. They were very satisfied with both the bath and the meals. They also appreciated the complimentary drinks and snack corner, which everyone enjoyed. I would love to stay here myself next time. Thank you very

It is also a wonderful memory that the chef took the time to come and greet us, and we were able to chat. In addition, the warm hospitality of the proprietress was exceptional, and all of the staff were pleasant and attentive. I felt refreshed both physically and mentally, and e

Meals are prepared in the refrigerator, so you simply do a quick cook and enjoy. This time we chose the hot pot, and it was very satisfying! Plus, the Room has a private Onsen bath. Great value for money, and since it’s still new, everything felt clean and comfortable. The Room i

We stayed as a family of three, and to our delight, we were upgraded to a higher-grade Room than the one we had reserved. It was truly a dog-first Accommodation. Dogs can share existing bedding with you, and you can dine together as well. The dining area has semi-private seating, so we could relax without worrying about other dogs, which was great. The price may be a bit high, but it was the best Accommodation we’ve stayed at with our dog so far (and this time felt like a bargain thanks to the upgrade!). It’s an Accommodation that makes us want to stay again.

Everything about the accommodation—the onsen, the guest room, the meals, the staff—was absolutely perfect. The view of the courtyard from our room was also incredibly soothing. Even my mother, who usually eats very little, almost finished everything. We will definitely sta

On a weekday in the off-season, the Accommodation Fee, meals, service, and the clean Room and bathing areas—everything is of outstanding quality. I can see why this place alone is thriving in quiet Awara Onsen. In particular, I was impressed by the gentle, kind staff and by the f

A sudden long weekend came up, so I stayed here to visit the dinosaur museum I’d been wanting to go to for a while. The parking attendant was kind and reassuring. The building felt spacious and dignified, yet warm and welcoming—really lovely. The room was also large, and the in-room bath and toilet were clean and comfortable. After a long drive I wanted to take a nap, so when I called the front desk they promptly came to lay out the futon, which I really appreciated. I tried three different baths, and each one was at just the right temperature—not too hot or too lukewarm. The basket given at the front desk was perfect for going from bath to bath. Since we were leaving early in the morning on short notice, we chose a room-only plan this time, but next time I’d like to enjoy the meals as well. For reference, there’s an izakaya within walking distance where we ate dinner, but I recommend making a reservation.

As this was a “reasonably priced” Room, it was located directly beneath the restaurant. As expected, we didn’t hear chair-scraping or footsteps much, but the sound of people running around carried quite a bit. The chair noise in particular was really loud. However, this trip was just for two adults and we weren’t specifically looking for complete quiet—and since we also used that restaurant for meals, it was within an acceptable range. The Room was spacious and very clean, though it did feel a bit dated. We were told there would be no view, but given the location, it wasn’t like another building blocked everything or we couldn’t see outside at all. If you shifted your gaze slightly, you could enjoy a nature-filled view of Fukui’s wide-open fields, which we were very happy with. The restaurant buffet had a great variety and everything was delicious—I ate too much. It seemed seared bonito (tataki) was the featured item this time; I could only get it once, but it was excellent. The other seafood was also tasty, and there were grilled and fried dishes as well—an indulgent buffet that everyone from kids to seniors can enjoy. Above all else, the Onsen was wonderful. I didn’t realize Awara Onsen is not overly hot. There were also two open-air baths, so guests could take turns enjoying them without crowding—everyone’s good manners made us feel lucky. We stayed here because we had a memorial service in Fukui Prefecture, but there were so many things to enjoy inside the Accommodation—a table tennis area and manga corner—and there was even a morning market held in the lobby. One night wasn’t enough. Next time I’d love to come back for sightseeing at a more relaxed pace. Thank you as well for providing Shuttle Service to Awaraonsen Station.

Each room had an attendant who provided care and pleasant conversation. The Ryokan had a nostalgic charm. The bath was clean, with a stylish dinosaur-themed bath as well. The sauna was new and clean, and the amenities were thoughtfully prepared so you could come empty-handed. It
