The room was clean and located almost in the center of the sightseeing area. It was my first time in Kanazawa, and if you’re up for it (though it’s a bit of a walk), you can cover most attractions on foot. We traveled with a pet (a small dog) and were very satisfied with our trip. However, we had to step out of the room to use the washroom and toilet, and since the main entrance faces a major tourist road with no place to stop a car, loading and unloading luggage between the car and the hotel was difficult when carrying a lot of bags.

Very conveniently located for sightseeing. Kenrokuen Garden, Omicho Market, the Samurai District, Kanazawa Castle, and the Higashi Chaya District are all nearby, making it easy to explore efficiently. The staff were kind, and the large public bath helped relieve my fatigue. Breakfast was delicious, and I also enjoyed the local specialties.

This is one of my go-to Accommodations when I visit Kanazawa a few times a year. Best of all, you can get there without getting wet in the rain, and the commercial facilities around the station are right nearby—super convenient!! Despite being practically right in front of the bus terminal, the Room is quiet. The Room feels modern, and I was happy that the air conditioning is individually controlled and works well! I’ll be back again. Also… I stayed here before after things had settled down following an earthquake, when I drove to bring relief supplies to a friend’s evacuation location. The parking lot was full at the time, and a female staff member kindly guided me to a space in front of the entrance. I happened to see her again as I was leaving this time for the first time in a while, but didn’t have time to speak to her. Please allow me to express my gratitude once again.

It’s just a little (in terms of feeling) away from the station area, but that made it calm and comfortable. It’s still close to the station, and there’s also a convenience store nearby. In the Room, if you open the roller blind, you can be seen from outside, so it would be perfect if there were an additional sheer curtain. The bathroom was clean, and I ended up using it many times. The breakfast venue felt slightly hot—perhaps because of the oden or the air conditioning. I think it would have been even better with lower humidity. The meals felt like standard business-style fare with a Kanazawa touch. I slept well. If I have another chance, I’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was our first trip to Kanazawa as a couple. The location was excellent, right next to Omicho Market. The room was very clean, and the breakfast—especially the wide variety of potato dishes—was delicious. We honestly wondered if it was really okay at this price. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Kanazawa.

In June 2026, I stayed one night at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. It’s close to the station, and it was great that they could store my luggage when I arrived in Kanazawa, and also keep it for me after checkout the next day. The Room was simple and very clean. The air conditioner had a remote control, so I could adjust it myself, which was convenient. There was water and some snacks in the refrigerator, and I enjoyed them. The Onsen is on the 14th floor, and you can go there in loungewear and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, and at the sinks there is a hair dryer as well as toner and lotion. After the Onsen, I also had ice cream and coffee. In the morning you can have a probiotic drink. However, when I went at night it was crowded, and some guests reserved washing stations by leaving their personal items there even though shelves are provided for belongings—so I had to wait a few minutes. That’s why my rating is 4 stars. It would be helpful if a clear notice could be posted to discourage this behavior so everyone can use the facilities comfortably. There is also complimentary “yonaki soba” (late-night noodles) served after 9:00 p.m., and since the portion isn’t large it was easy to finish. I traveled with my family, and they also said they liked the Onsen very much. My overall impression: great location near the station, polite staff service, plus nice extras like ice cream, coffee, and late-night noodles. I would like to stay again.

I stay here about four or five times a year. It remains comfortable and reasonably priced. However, amenities are no longer freely available, which felt a bit disappointing. Also, while I understand it’s unavoidable and I’m happy to support the eco-friendly policy of using up toilet paper rolls, the previous guest had used them almost completely, so I had to go to the front desk to get more.

A clean and well-maintained Hotel with an excellent location and easy access from the station. With restaurants and convenience stores nearby, you won’t have any trouble finding what you need. The shampoo and other amenities in the bath dispense a bit poorly.

Revisited Kanazawa after a long time and stayed here again. Despite being operated with minimal staff, everyone was polite and considerate in their service. The front desk and rooms were clean, and the amenity bar was always well-stocked, which was reassuring. It was unfortunate that the room wear was quite small. Being located within the premises made everything convenient and allowed for efficient movement. Looking forward to visiting again!

The large public bath was very relaxing after coming back tired from walking. Breakfast wasn’t the same every day, which I really enjoyed. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us for our 1-night, 2-day stay! From the moment we entered the Hotel, it was a wonderful space. The staff were very kind, and the Room was spacious and extremely comfortable! Breakfast was served buffet-style, with Ishikawa specialties and items you don’t often see at other hotels—such as drinkable yogurt, pudding, and smoothies—so we were excited from the morning. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Ishikawa!

I chose this hotel for a Kanazawa trip with my mother’s friend because it has a large public bath, includes breakfast, is close to the station, has clean rooms, and receives great reviews. It was a trip for two 78-year-old women, so I was a bit worried, but they were able to leave their luggage both before and after check-in, and I later heard they could relax at the hotel and enjoy their stay. They said the breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but there was bread and everything was delicious. It seems it turned into a very satisfying trip. Thank you very much.

It was my first time back in Kanazawa in 25 years for a conference trip. The accommodation options had changed so much since then. I was torn between a traditional ryokan and the convenience of a business hotel, when I found this place and booked it because I loved the concept. It felt a bit more spacious than I expected from the layout, and I was especially impressed by how comfortably roomy the bathroom was. The subtle fragrance throughout was what pleased me most. I hope to have the chance to stay here again next time.

The Hokuriku Shinkansen was delayed by over 30 minutes, which threw off our schedule quite a bit. I ended up arriving much later than the check-in time, and you even contacted me—I’m sorry for causing you concern. After that, you were very kind and helpful, which was a relief. Your careful explanations made me feel at ease. The grilled overnight-dried nodoguro served at breakfast was absolutely delicious. When I checked a dried-fish shop to buy some as a souvenir, I found it’s a premium fish costing just over 3,000 yen per fish! It felt like such a lucky breakfast. Thank you very much.

It was a very clean Room! It was a bit small, but the price was affordable, so I was very satisfied. It was my first time having the front desk on the top floor, and there was a balcony, which was wonderful! The view was amazing! I would like to stay again! Also, I’d like to take this opportunity to express my thanks. I accidentally left my smartphone at the entrance on the first floor, and I’m grateful to the person who brought it up to the front desk on the top floor. Thank you very much!

Just before a long holiday, we hurriedly booked a two-night, three-day stay. We have stayed at KOKO several times before. The room is very small, and for the two of us as a couple it felt like we could use a bit more space. However, you can clearly see the ingenuity in how the toilet and bath are arranged to make the most of the limited space. Guest room: Not spacious, but comfortable. Everything you need is provided. Service: Very friendly and kind. However, perhaps because it’s an international hotel, communication with some non-Japanese staff took a little extra time. Bath/Toilet: As mentioned above, so I’ll omit details here. Facilities: Everything is well equipped. Because the lobby is small, it inevitably felt a bit hectic. Meals: The breakfast we had in the past was very unique and delicious. This was our first breakfast since it became KOKO; there isn’t a huge variety of items, but everything was tasty—and they even had Kanazawa oden. That said, with so many overseas guests, refills weren’t always kept up unless we asked, which was disappointing. It also felt like the breakfast restaurant staff were not yet fully accustomed to operations. Overall satisfaction: A hotel we want to visit again and again. We’ll be staying one night again in November as well.

This time, I stayed for three nights. I had reserved a single Room, but they upgraded my Room. With plenty of space, it was easy to spread out my luggage and organize three days’ worth of clothes and souvenirs without any stress. Thank you very much. I have stayed here many times. It is a long-established Hotel, and I personally love the antique-style furniture. It was my first summer in Kanazawa and it was definitely hot, so I was happy to find cold Kaga roasted tea prepared in the Hotel lobby. It was delicious. With wine available in the lounge and convenient access to sightseeing areas, I think this is an excellent value Hotel. When I visit again in a different season, I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

From the moment I checked in, I was welcomed warmly. It happened to be a Friday event with complimentary drinks, and I enjoyed delicious Kanazawa beverages and sweets—it felt like the perfect start to a wonderful trip. Thank you as well to the staff member who served the drinks and entertained me with friendly conversation; it truly showed the high level of hospitality. I also visited the bar at night, which was excellent. The room was very relaxing, the night view was beautiful, and I was satisfied with all the facilities. However, since I would like to stay again in the future, I’d like to offer one suggestion. There is a wooden door installed above the refrigerator door, and when closing it, the sound spreads throughout the room. Surprisingly, even though I couldn’t hear voices from next door or other noises, that door-closing sound echoed at night. I would appreciate it if there were some way to reduce the noise when closing that door. After checkout, I accidentally left an important pendant behind. When I called about my lost item, a female staff member responded quickly. I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused, but her help truly meant a lot. When staying in Kanazawa again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

This was a two-night trip in Kanazawa. The Room was very spacious, and we were able to relax. Since it has a kitchen, we enjoyed doing some simple cooking. Having a washing machine was also convenient. There are two large pots in the kitchen; since some guests may stay in small groups, having smaller ones as well would make them easier to use. The price felt reasonable. However, it was a bit inconvenient that we had to go to Hotel Kanazawa for check-in. If this could be improved, I think it would be a very user-friendly Hotel. There are plenty of nearby coin-operated parking lots, so we were able to park without getting lost.

The building was new and very clean, so we had a truly comfortable stay. It was also a pleasant distance from the station—perfect for strolling back and forth. Kanazawa Station was wonderful, and the city center was beautiful as well. We’d love to visit Kanazawa again in a different season, and we hope to stay here again then. Thank you very much.
