We stayed here before, and since our child said, “I want to stay again,” we decided to return. It’s a maisonette-style Room, with high ceilings in the living area on the third floor—very stylishly designed. Although breakfast is complimentary, it was very satisfying and delicious. The only downsides were that there was no mobile signal in the first-floor bedroom, and there was a slight lingering barbecue smell in the Room. It felt different from a typical Hotel, and we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Our family of four stayed for one night. On the first day we went to Fuji-Q Highland, and on the second day we toured around Lake Kawaguchi. From the welcome drink to kid-friendly services, the hospitality was wonderful. The kids were especially happy with the fireworks they received. In central Tokyo, there are only limited places where you can set off fireworks... The Room was clean and well maintained, and the Facility offerings were excellent. There were also amenities and equipment not listed on the website (bottled water, Ramune soda, coffee and tea, a hair iron, bathrobes, a ride to the station the next morning, and rental bicycles), so you won’t have any trouble as long as you bring only your basic personal items. Having breakfast delivered was also quietly appreciated. If we had to go to a dining area or pick it up somewhere, we would have needed to get ready—but it was easy to just receive it right after waking up.

We stayed during Golden Week. Even though all the other Rooms were fully booked, we could hardly hear any noise from nearby, and we were able to spend a peaceful time surrounded by the quiet forest. Perhaps it was a season with very few insects, as they didn’t bother us at all, and the Facility was clean and very comfortable. Even the shampoo in the bath had a forest-like scent, and we felt that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Thank you very much. After reading through all of the Room booklet again, I realized that shared Facilities such as the washing machine were located elsewhere, and I wasn’t sure how to clean up properly after using the campfire. It would be reassuring if you could add a short note on the red paper that was originally inside the fire pit grill saying that cleanup instructions are written in the booklet. Also, since it seemed to assume everything should be returned to its original state, I wasn’t sure how far we needed to go in putting things back—such as dishcloths or used towels. It would feel even more reassuring if there were a note like: “Please place used cloths and towels in the laundry basket.” We would love to stay again. We made wonderful memories with our family.

We stayed in the Bridge Building, and it was an excellent Accommodation with abundant nature, well-equipped Facilities, and a spacious, clean bathroom. In the Front Building, there was complimentary ice cream as well as free-to-borrow cooking oil and seasonings. The staff were very friendly—when it was raining at check-in, they brought an umbrella out to our car, and at check-out several of them waved us off. It’s an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

My spouse, our daughters, and our grandchild stayed here and were very well taken care of. Twin-bed Japanese-Western Room with breakfast and dinner included Separate bath and toilet, two TVs The Room was very spacious and comfortable. You make your own futon. Dinner was prepared in the Room. We were able to eat together at a relaxed pace. Steamed pork and lots of vegetables in a bamboo steamer Rice, three small side dishes, and bite-sized dessert (kuzumochi). Miso soup and tea were brought in a pot. For our grandchild: omurice, potato soup, and vanilla ice cream. There was a slightly larger fridge (freezer on top, refrigerator below), so even guests without meals could stock ingredients for cooking. Cooking utensils and plastic wrap were provided. There were separate trash bins for bottles/cans and burnable waste. There was a DVD player, and many DVDs were available to borrow in the lobby. On the balcony there were chairs and an ashtray. The women’s bath had four washing stations. Shampoo etc. were provided. Hair dryers were available (Dyson and ReFa). There is also a water dispenser. Breakfast was delicious too: Bread, rice, curry, scones, yogurt, dashi ochazuke, etc. On the 1st floor there is the dining area, baths, laundry area, ice machine, vending machines, table tennis, massage chairs— all free to use. There was also a kids’ room. Our grandchild played on the day we arrived and played plenty until check-out the next day. There was a large TV and lots of Yogibo cushions/beanbags. It was our first time staying at this type of Accommodation, but it was really great. Some guests were having BBQs in the garden as well. We’d like to come again. However, maybe because the elevator doors are slightly misaligned, they made an extremely loud roaring noise every time they opened or closed. It made us a bit worried. We booked the Birthday Plan for our first family glamping experience, which also celebrated my wife's birthday. With the meal-inclusive plan, we enjoyed unlimited soft drinks and alcohol from the drink server in the management building, which we could take back to our tent—a very convenient feature. The nearby mountains, river, and park provided great opportunities for exploration and fun with our kids. We visited in early September and enjoyed listening to cicadas while spotting dragonflies, lizards, crickets, and more. It seems that stag beetles can also be found around July to August.

This was my second stay. It was very disappointing that the weather did not allow us to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Yamanaka in the rain and the autumn leaves were nice in their own way! There were some crumbs like snacks on the floor near the window, but everything else was very clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant stay. I thought it would be nice if there were mops or vacuum cleaners available for guests to use when they make a mess, so they can clean up themselves and maintain a higher level of hygiene. I also wished for some bath cleaning supplies for reheating the bath. The amenities are excellent.

A hideaway-like rental villa nestled in the forest, the chic yet comfortable space was very pleasant. The sauna heated up well, allowing us to relax while enjoying the forest view during the outdoor air bath. The bath is home-sized. As it is unmanned, there are no particular services, but the pre-arrival email guidance was very clear, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay without any inconvenience. I would love to stay again next year!

The building is new and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. There are three bedrooms, providing privacy even for two families. While it doesn't have an Onsen, the bathroom features a jet bath, and on clear days, you might catch a view of Mt. Fuji. Everything you need is provided except pajamas and food ingredients, so you can come empty-handed. Complimentary coffee, tea, water, and ice are also available. Although we didn't use the BBQ area this time due to the cold season (additional fees apply), it’s located next to the terrace and seems perfect for enjoying with friends or family. It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from the terrace or BBQ area due to weather conditions. We look forward to visiting again!

The Facility is new, clean, and comfortable.

This was our first time glamping, so we were a little nervous, but the staff were very kind and attentive, which really helped. It was easier to enjoy than we expected. The views were beautiful, the food was delicious, and having drinks while looking at Mt. Fuji was amazing. We felt truly relaxed and had a perfect day. We would definitely like to come back again.

The meals were simply the best. The homemade pizza and tart are a must-try. Heating appliances are installed in all rooms, so there was no trouble keeping warm. Additionally, there are clothes drying appliances, which were helpful for drying clothes wet from the heavy rain. I stayed with my pet. The availability of cages, food bowls, and toilet sheets was helpful. The staff were friendly and provided excellent hospitality, which was satisfying.

First of all, the owner was very kind and helpful. The Room was clean, and it had most of what we needed. Above all, every BBQ ingredient was delicious, and everyone in our group was very satisfied with the meal. If you’re staying here, I recommend booking a plan with meals included. Please note that the bath is shower-only, so we used a nearby Onsen Facility.

We stayed with 5 adults, 4 children, and 2 dogs, and the place was so spacious that even with a large group we were able to spend our time comfortably without any inconvenience. We also had unlimited access to the large public bath, and since it was just our group, we could relax and enjoy ourselves freely. We used the Shuttle Service to the Hotel due to the snow, and the staff were very kind. We would love to stay again when traveling around Yamanashi. There were toys for the children as well, so they never got bored and were very satisfied. The dogs also had an easy time walking since everything was carpeted, and they happily ran around! We had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji too—it made for an amazing trip. Thank you very much!!

We stayed here as a couple this time. Rather than just a place to stay, it felt like a place to reset myself. I naturally spent less time on my phone, relaxed on the balcony listening to birds and the wind, soaked in the bath, made tea, and took things slow. That alone made my mind surprisingly clear. It’s also a resort Facility where you can reach the lakeside in about a 5-minute walk and enjoy a variety of nature experiences. What impressed me wasn’t luxury, but how it’s designed so you can truly enjoy doing nothing in comfort. By checkout, not only my body but even my mind felt lighter.

An amazing location surrounded by breathtaking nature. In the morning, we took a walk with the kids through the great outdoors, spotting animal tracks and even wild squirrels and deer. It was a magnificent experience you can’t get in everyday life. What makes SANU special is being able to enjoy it all with peace of mind. From helpful communication before our Reservation to well-maintained Facilities and equipment, plus advance information about the surrounding area, there’s plenty of support to help you stay comfortably. Our whole family was able to enjoy this extraordinary experience with confidence.

We booked the Dog Hospitality Plan and tried the “Handmade Canned Food” experience. At first, I had no idea how canned food is made, but while listening to the chef’s entertaining explanation, we filled the can—awkwardly at first—with our dog’s favorites like sweet potato, Shingen chicken, and Oshino okara (soy pulp). We even handwrote the label at the end. It was so much fun that we got completely absorbed in it. *The can will be sealed with a lid and finished by the next morning, and you can take it home as a souvenir. It almost feels too precious to open our original can, but I found myself wishing that our 11-year-old dog will still be healthy enough to enjoy it on a birthday one or two years from now. Thank you so much for offering this wonderful “Handmade Canned Food” experience. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night with a family of five and a small dog. Although the signal near the facility was weak, there was Wi-Fi available, and when we contacted them with questions during check-in, they responded promptly, which we greatly appreciated. The room was very spacious with large windows that provided an open atmosphere, and we could enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji from the room. When we entered the room in the evening and turned on the air conditioning, it took some time to warm up; having a heater would have been helpful. On the other hand, from morning to midday, sunlight came through the upper windows making it very hot; blinds for those windows would be nice. We prepared our own ingredients for cooking but enjoyed using well-equipped kitchen tools and appliances like a microwave oven. The drinks and snacks provided were thoughtful touches that made us happy. The hinoki bath filled the bathroom with its soothing aroma, creating a relaxing space—it was absolutely wonderful! Although this stay was only for one night, it made us want to stay longer at this facility. We hope there will be discounts for Multiple Night Stays in the future as we'd love to come back again!
