The entire Facility was very clean, and not only the bedrooms but also the toilets, shower rooms, and even the large public bath were kept spotless, so we had a very comfortable stay. The meals were also delicious, and the experience itself—starting a fire ourselves and grilling and cooking—was truly fun and became a memorable time for our family. Above all, we were most impressed by the hospitality of the staff. We have stayed at many Hotels and Accommodations, but the team here was without a doubt among the very best. We visited with two small children and were worried about whether we could manage starting a fire and doing BBQ properly, but the staff kindly and carefully taught us what to do and naturally supported us at just the right moments. We really appreciated how they watched over us with perfect distance—never intrusive. It wasn’t luxurious like a high-end Hotel; instead, it offered warm human connection and time for our family to work together, giving us an incredible sense of happiness unlike anything we’ve experienced before. There aren’t many Accommodations that make you think “I want to come back,” but this is a place we genuinely feel like visiting even every month. It was an outstanding experience that left our whole family completely satisfied. We would love to stay again.

We made a same-day Reservation during the busiest season on 8/15, and the staff were outstanding and treated us with great care. Our Room was on the Mt. Fuji view side, and both the room and windows were clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. When we saw Mt. Fuji in the clear morning sky, my spouse and I were truly moved! We were also satisfied with the dinner and breakfast buffet. Above all, the staff were exceptional, and we would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for a mother-and-daughters trip (three of us) to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. We were also impressed that three beds were set up side by side. All the in-Room meals were delicious, and we enjoyed the dishes inspired by Mt. Fuji throughout—beautiful to look at as well. We could even see Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath in our Room, and we had a truly luxurious time. They also gave my mother a gift for her 90th birthday, which deeply moved us. My mother was thrilled, and it became a wonderful, unforgettable celebration.

I stayed at Hotel Mt. Fuji for one night. To my surprise, my room was upgraded, and I was able to relax in a spacious suite. Unfortunately, the weather was poor and I couldn’t enjoy the Mt. Fuji view I had been looking forward to. On a clear day, I’m sure you can take in a magnificent panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from the west-facing terrace. Given the hotel’s outstanding location, the only regret this time was not having better weather. I would love to visit again on a sunny day. What impressed me most was the French dinner. Not only was everything delicious, but the presentation and portion sizes were also excellent—I was completely satisfied in every way. In a relaxed atmosphere, I truly enjoyed every dish at leisure.

I had plans at Lake Kawaguchi the next day and was looking for an Accommodation, so I stayed here because it seemed like a good option with one night and two meals included. The Onsen, meals, and Room were all excellent, and the value for money was outstanding. The signature herbal bath was also very nice. There was also an outdoor air-cooling space by the sauna outside, so I was able to fully relax.

Our family of three (two adults and one older elementary school child) stayed here. The Facility was exceptionally well maintained throughout—spotlessly clean and beautiful everywhere. It was a wonderful place I can confidently recommend to others! Here are the highlights that impressed us, along with a couple of small points we noticed. ◯ Highlights Beautifully balanced meals: The ingredients prepared in the refrigerator were the perfect amount—not too much, not too little. The colors and presentation were lovely, everything felt very clean, and we were excited even before eating. The selection of complimentary drinks included in the Accommodation Fee was also excellent! User-friendly kitchen: The dining kitchen was spacious and easy to move around in, and the grill was simple to use, making cooking fun. A fully equipped authentic spa: Not only a bath, but also a sauna and cold plunge pool—an incredibly relaxing experience. ◯ With hopes for future improvements (why we rated 4 stars) The boundary between indoors and outdoors on the way to the open-air bath was very slippery, so we placed towels down ourselves as a precaution. Guests with small children or elderly family members may want to be especially careful. Moving between the Room, toilet, bath, and dining area requires outdoor footwear throughout, but we found the provided shoes a bit difficult to wear. More slip-on options would make it even more comfortable. That said, our overall satisfaction was extremely high—so much so that these minor points hardly mattered—and it became a great memory for us. We would love to stay again!

First time staying here. The exterior and interior were both very beautiful, and the Room was spotless and felt very clean. The baths were spacious, both the indoor bath and the semi-open-air bath. The sauna was at just the right temperature, and the cold plunge made with Mt. Fuji water was freezing cold. My companions were very satisfied and said they want to stay here again. As the organizer, I really looked good.

I stayed at Lumiere the night before a concert at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater during Silver Week, as it’s just a short walk from the venue. Tucked away quietly in the woods, it truly feels like a hidden retreat. The owner couple are still young and very attentive, kindly taking care of all sorts of things in advance so I wouldn’t have any trouble. Even though I was traveling solo as an almost-60 woman, their warm hospitality helped me relax and unwind. Next time, I’d love to try the meals as well. In the desk drawer in the room, there’s a guest notebook where past visitors have left comments. It’s quite fun to read. I highly recommend visiting at least once.

We were thrilled with the food—it exceeded our expectations. The pasta, fish, and meat were all delicious, and we were especially impressed by the meat sauce pasta. With a typhoon approaching, we weren’t expecting to see Mt. Fuji, but when we woke up in the morning, it was there! We drove a few minutes to Panorama-dai to enjoy the view. The hot sandwiches and soba at breakfast were also comforting and tasty. We did notice some noise, and it seemed like there was only a toilet in the room, but even so it was a very satisfying one-night stay. We’d love to come back many times in different seasons. Thank you very much—we look forward to staying again.

It was my first visit in a while, and the Onsen was wonderful as always. There were so many options—hot stone spa, sauna, indoor baths, and open-air baths—and I really enjoyed them. Dinner’s pork shabu-shabu was delicious, and the wine was reasonably priced with great value for money. For breakfast, I could relax in my Room and enjoy my favorites: boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, bread, and coffee. I’d love to come again.

With a bus stop for Mt. Fuji 5th Station and Fuji-Q Highland nearby, the location is unbeatable! There’s also a convenience store and Don Quijote close by, making shopping easy. The rooms, Facility areas, and Onsen are all very clean! The staff are incredibly kind. There’s nothing to complain about! If you’re staying for a Mt. Fuji climb (Yoshida Trail) or visiting Fuji-Q Highland, you should choose West Inn Fujiyoshida!

It was a well-deserved getaway for the two of us. Rain was in the forecast, but the Room was far better than we imagined and it became an unforgettable memory! The kitchenware was fully stocked, and both the bathroom and toilet were clean and convenient.

Free Shuttle Service is available from Kawaguchiko Station. (Pickup requires a Reservation in advance; drop-off can be reserved at check-in.) Both the exterior and interior show their age, but the Room and other areas are well cleaned and kept tidy. The sink felt a bit dated. The Room key was delightfully nostalgic (laughs). I didn’t use the outdoor bath, so I can’t comment on it, but the Room I stayed in had a shower only. It seemed newly renovated and was very clean. (The provided shampoos include both DHC and Ichikami!) Lotion, emulsion, and makeup remover were POLA amenities. I ordered both dinner and breakfast; the portions were generous and everything was delicious! I really appreciated that it wasn’t buffet-style. Hot dishes were served hot. There is a laundry area; detergent costs 100 yen, but the drum washing machines are free to use! (There are two machines.) The staff’s service was excellent! So it felt more like a Ryokan than a Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality during my stay!

This time, three families (9 adults and 5 children) stayed for two nights and three days. Not only are the Facilities outstanding, but the staff’s attentiveness was truly exceptional—they noticed even the smallest details and responded flexibly to our requests, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful stay. Staying for two nights for the first time, starting the day with a sauna and spending a relaxing morning was the most luxurious way to unwind. Next time, we’d love to visit in winter and spend time watching the fireplace flames.

From the moment we arrived, this was a special entire-home rental Hotel that felt less like “staying overnight” and more like truly inhabiting the space. The view of Oku-Kawaguchiko through the large windows changed throughout the day: in the evening, a quiet lake surface with shadows of trees; at night, forest air with almost no sound; and in the morning, soft light streaming onto a misty lake. It was the kind of place where you just want to keep watching the scenery. The interior felt luxurious yet calming, with thoughtful details in everything from lighting and furniture to sound. It naturally made us want to slow down—cooking with a beer in hand, enjoying fresh air on the terrace after the sauna—and even while spending time together, there was an unhurried sense of space. What stood out most was the morning kayaking experience. Paddling out onto a quiet Lake Kawaguchi before many people were around felt incredible. The water was as calm as a mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains and forest. It felt less like sightseeing and more like we were floating alone in nature—easily my most memorable moment of this stay. The Facility side was also very comfortable: with well-stocked kitchenware and amenities, we could enjoy high-quality time without much preparation. This isn’t just an Accommodation for sleeping—it’s a place where the experience itself changes depending on the season and how you spend your time. Next time I’d love to do a Multiple Night Stay and soak up this atmosphere even more slowly.

It was a comfortable twin Room, and we could even see Lake Kawaguchi from the Room window. The amenities included everything we needed. Dinner was a half-buffet, which made it easy to choose just the right amount. The breakfast buffet let you make your own seafood rice bowl, which made it even more satisfying. I’m only disappointed that I missed the ochazuke time from 9:00 PM (I fell asleep). When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I’d like to stay at Breeze Bay again.

After descending from Mt. Fuji in heavy rain, the warm Onsen was incredibly soothing! They accommodated our unusual requests, and we truly felt their sincerity. The hoto for dinner was also absolutely delicious!! Both the international staff and the housekeeping team were kind and welcoming. There were many inbound guests, but I hope this place continues to thrive. When we consulted in advance, they also offered a Shuttle Service, which was a huge help. We like mid-scale hotels, and for us—focused mainly on sightseeing—this is the best value Accommodation! We had a very comfortable stay. Next time, I’d like to visit when the weather is clear enough to see Mt. Fuji.

This was a very satisfying Accommodation for staying with our dog. - For dog walks, Oishi Park is just a 1-minute walk away, and it was perfect in the morning and evening after the tourists were gone. There is also an on-site dog run. - We usually choose a rental villa with an Onsen, but even without one, the water quality seemed excellent—I didn’t need body lotion, and I relaxed in the large bathtub again and again. - Unfortunately, it rained every few hours due to the weather, but the chairs placed in the earthen-floored entryway were very comfortable. My husband enjoyed beer and highballs, while I finished reading a book I brought along. - The bed was also very comfortable—I slept a total of 20 hours over three days. - There were various BALMUDA appliances, and it was fun cooking dinner using a hot plate for the first time. - We enjoyed breakfast delivered from a nearby restaurant both times; it was delicious. - The location is extremely convenient for both shopping and sightseeing. - It helped us recover from work fatigue and feel refreshed—this is exactly the kind of vacation we like.

We stayed in the dome during midsummer in the Kanto region in July. The temperature was about 5–6°C cooler, and the dome was fully equipped with air conditioning, so we were able to stay very comfortably. We could also watch app videos on the projector, and some Plans allow pets. It was amazing.

As other reviews have said, this was a wonderful, deeply relaxing place to stay. From the start, we were welcomed into a beautiful, stylish space with gentle background music. A spacious bath with a mist sauna, a comfortable bedroom, the view from the bedroom, a well-designed kitchen, incense and mugwort steam treatments… thoughtfully curated amenities throughout. The optional catered meals we added were satisfying in both quality and quantity for dinner and breakfast! A salad packed with fresh vegetables and cold dishes, plus hot items that were prepped to be easy to cook and serve. Since it was a chilly day, the warm pot-au-feu was especially appreciated. The original craft beer was delicious too… We also picked herbs from the adjacent herb garden for salads and mojitos, and the next morning’s massage was excellent—truly attentive. We were able to enjoy a luxurious time. A couple of minor downsides: Because it’s surrounded by nature, there were quite a few insects, which made us (not being used to it) feel a bit uneasy. Also, we struggled with adjusting the shower temperature and ended up contacting the concierge. This time we brought our small dog; everything we needed was provided, and our pup seemed to have a great time! Overall: extremely satisfied!! We’d love to come back again. Rather than for loud group gatherings, I’d especially recommend it for anyone who wants to spend quiet time in peace.
