Thank you very much. Although we booked just before Golden Week, we were able to stay in a Room with a lake view. The interior had been renovated, and the tatami, washbasin, toilet, and shower room were all clean. It was especially nice to be able to see Mt. Fuji from the bath. We also enjoyed the delicious meals. Breakfast was a Western-style set. Since many Accommodations serve Japanese-style breakfasts, it felt refreshingly different. As some guests strongly prefer rice in the morning, it would be helpful if you could let guests know at check-in that “tomorrow’s breakfast is Western-style,” ideally with a sample photo. Many of the staff were from overseas, but their service showed they had received training in Japanese-style hospitality.

I was very satisfied with this stay. Because the Room lighting was darker than expected, I rated the guest room 4, but it was still comfortable. The Room was spacious with plenty of room, and I appreciated that it was a comfortable temperature upon arrival and the thoughtful touches. The meals were delicious, especially the lava-grilled meat as the main dish. In particular, the younger staff at dinner provided very pleasant service—above all with their smiles—so I was able to spend the evening in a cheerful mood.

This Hotel is highly recommended for anyone considering a stay around Lake Yamanaka near Mt. Fuji. What I appreciated most was the free Shuttle Service from the Fujisan-Yamanakako bus stop to the Hotel. It is available between 15:00 and 17:00, and being taken directly to the Hotel after getting off the bus made me feel very comfortable even on my first visit. If you plan to use it, be sure to make a Reservation in advance online or by phone. The location is also excellent, and Rooms on the Mt. Fuji side offer a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window—truly a highlight. Being able to relax in your Room while enjoying that view feels special. All of the staff were very kind, and it was impressive how attentive and pleasant everyone was, regardless of nationality. The overall atmosphere was warm, and I felt at ease throughout my stay. Before staying, I had seen in a Review that “the shower room is a bit small,” which made me slightly concerned, but in reality it was a unit-bath style setup and personally felt like an appropriate size. It was easier to use than I expected, with no inconvenience at all. I also added meals on-site, and the eel course was excellent—I was very satisfied. There were plenty of dishes included, which was especially enjoyable for an eel lover like me. With great views, location, service, and dining all well balanced, this is a Hotel I would happily choose again.

If you just need a place to sleep, there’s no problem. The bed is large, and there is also a bathtub. Even though there is an air purifier, I’m not sure why the Room smells dusty.

Thank you for accommodating our request to change the room due to a concern about the smell. The new room had a view of Mt. Fuji, though it was partially obscured by clouds. We managed to capture some photos during the morning when it was visible. We heard that this room has recently been renovated to be barrier-free. The entrance features half tatami flooring, and the low table makes it easy to open suitcases. Although we didn’t use the private bath in the room, there is a large public Onsen on the first floor accessible with a passcode for added security, allowing us to enjoy bathing with peace of mind. The Onsen includes three showers, one baby chair, and amenities such as cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, and cotton pads—all provided for your convenience. Please bring towels from your room when visiting. There were also several electric bicycles available and even some popular bikes on display in what seemed like an exhibition area. In front of the first-floor Onsen area are manga books and various play items available for guests' enjoyment. Yukata robes are provided nearby: sizes include 120cm for children; one size (150–160cm) for women; and options for men as well. While the exterior may appear aged from outside at first glance, inside is very clean with noticeable updates such as new carpets in hallways (at least on floors we explored). The café space on ground level adds charm too! In mornings limited-time complimentary coffee service awaits guests—a delightful touch before heading out exploring locally! On next day’s itinerary included visit Café Mont Blanc nearby—thankful parking arrangements made everything seamless enhancing overall experience greatly! Truly memorable trip indeed thanks again wholeheartedly choosing stay here Fujiyoshida region left lasting impression surely returning future stays accommodations same place!!

It was a small, cozy Accommodation. The hospitality was warm. I wish the amenities had been a bit more complete, but I enjoyed the breakfast. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

It seemed new and was very clean. It was a bit disappointing that I could see (and then not see) bits of dried Cup Noodles meat around the bathroom sink drain—maybe a previous guest poured the broth down there? I was also surprised by how few TV channels there were. Still, it was truly clean and comfortable, and I will definitely stay again when I visit Yamanashi. Both check-in and check-out were easy, which was great.

The majestic view of Mount Fuji can be enjoyed from the living room, balcony, and even the bathroom, making it an exceptional experience. The Room was warm, clean, and free of unpleasant odors, ensuring a comfortable stay overall. With parking space available, it is perfect for staying with family or friends. It is also conveniently located near Kawaguchiko Station and close to a famous Lawson convenience store and restaurants. Initially, I thought I needed to use the QR code provided during pre-registration but realized that wasn’t the case. After some confusion, I called the management company for assistance. They responded promptly but mentioned an email had been sent; however, as it was sent after 5 PM on the previous day, I hadn’t noticed it. The system required entering a passcode to unlock the door; knowing this process earlier would have been helpful. Additionally, when pressing the button to fill up the bathwater, a message appeared on the panel saying "Please open hot water outlet," but no water came out initially. Upon checking instructions on the table, it mentioned either using a hot water outlet or faucet; in this building’s case, it was through faucets. If this had been indicated directly on the button itself (e.g., "Use faucet"), confusion could have been avoided. There were only bath towels and hand towels provided per person; having face towels would have been appreciated as well. While there was a washing machine with detergent pods available (which was great), only towel racks were provided for drying laundry—adding hangers or clip hangers would make things even more convenient. I’d love to stay here again if given another opportunity! Thank you very much!

We stayed as three families and had a spacious, stylish, and comfortable stay. Each Room was large and functional, but the highlight was the spacious living-dining area with excellent layout and stylish plates and glasses provided. The large lawn garden was also fantastic. Even with a group of 9 people, we never felt cramped. Plenty of towels were prepared for us, which was very helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Although it’s an older building, it was very clean and well maintained. Best of all, the view of Mt. Fuji is spectacular! The service was excellent, and thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We’ll be back!

This was my second stay. It was very disappointing that the weather did not allow us to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Yamanaka in the rain and the autumn leaves were nice in their own way! There were some crumbs like snacks on the floor near the window, but everything else was very clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant stay. I thought it would be nice if there were mops or vacuum cleaners available for guests to use when they make a mess, so they can clean up themselves and maintain a higher level of hygiene. I also wished for some bath cleaning supplies for reheating the bath. The amenities are excellent.

Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. After receiving a brief explanation, the hotel staff left, allowing us to enjoy a completely private space for a luxurious experience. This time, we did not hire a private chef but brought our own wine and food for dinner. Every item and piece of furniture is carefully selected, creating an atmosphere that feels like stepping back in time to a historical drama. You can rent out this incredibly luxurious space exclusively. The bedroom is also meticulously designed, and from the second-floor bedroom, you can wake up to an amazing view of Lake Kawaguchi right in front of you—a perfect location. For Onsen lovers, you can use the Onsen at the nearby Ashiwada Hotel. While I didn’t use it myself, my companion did and said both the indoor bath and open-air bath were fantastic. As for drawbacks, there are no izakayas or shops nearby where you can casually walk out to dine or shop. Renting out this secluded traditional house for multiple nights would make for an exceptionally luxurious trip (this time we stayed one night but would love to stay longer next time when we have more time). Since it’s still newly opened, prices are quite affordable now; however, I predict they will gradually increase over time (it feels too cheap at the moment). We stayed as four adults this time and everyone was extremely satisfied—we’ve already decided to visit again in September! Unfortunately, due to bad weather this trip, we couldn’t try kayaking; next time we hope to challenge ourselves with early morning kayaking while enjoying views of Mount Fuji reflected on the water!

Even though we booked at the last minute and changed the number of guests, they still accommodated us. The price was reasonable without meals. Since it was spring, it was cold in the mornings and evenings, and some bugs got inside—but as long as you don’t mind that, you can relax and enjoy your stay. The interior was clean and easy to use, and with an air conditioner, heater, and humidifier provided, we didn’t feel too dry while sleeping. The parking spot is a bit difficult to use; backing in is safer so it’s not dangerous when leaving. Once it gets warmer, having breakfast outside would be perfect! Thank you for having us!

The meals were simply the best. The homemade pizza and tart are a must-try. Heating appliances are installed in all rooms, so there was no trouble keeping warm. Additionally, there are clothes drying appliances, which were helpful for drying clothes wet from the heavy rain. I stayed with my pet. The availability of cages, food bowls, and toilet sheets was helpful. The staff were friendly and provided excellent hospitality, which was satisfying.

It was a very stylish Accommodation. We initially had trouble unlocking the door, but they handled it politely and promptly. Overall, it was a spacious and comfortable Accommodation, and we were very satisfied with our stay. This is a minor point, but since the place prioritizes style, I’d recommend it to those who value that—however, I felt some functionality may have been sacrificed, so I’ll note a few things for anyone who might care: - The bedroom lighting cannot be dimmed. It looked like it could be done with the remote, but it didn’t work. - The bathroom is not very user-friendly: there’s nowhere to put items and no chair/stool. We also couldn’t figure out how to use the ceiling shower. - There aren’t enough towels provided for a Multiple Night Stay. We used a coin laundry every day along with other laundry, but some people may find this inconvenient. That said, these are small issues. We were able to relax as a family without worrying about others around us, and we had a fulfilling time using it as our base for sightseeing around Golden Week. Thank you very much.

Since I made the Reservation at the last minute, I stayed just for an overnight stop. There was an issue at the front desk because my Reservation wasn’t on the list, but I was later told it had been found. It seemed to be a Ryokan that used to be a former public lodge. The Room size and bath size were just right, and the kids were happy. Despite the hiccup, the proprietress was friendly and easy to talk to, so we had a comfortable stay. I was concerned there wasn’t a hair dryer in the bath area, but one is available to borrow, so it wasn’t a problem. The view of Mt. Fuji from the window was absolutely beautiful. It was only one night, but it was a fun trip. Thank you very much.

The Facility was new and clean overall. The sauna was great for a good sweat, and I could cool down using the water tub outside the sauna. However, there was no nameplate in front of the house, and since it is located in the woods, it was difficult to find the Accommodation. The grounds were covered with weeds and visibility was poor, so I think we would have enjoyed it more if the weeds had been cleared.
