My spouse, our daughters, and our grandchild stayed here and were very well taken care of. Twin-bed Japanese-Western Room with breakfast and dinner included Separate bath and toilet, two TVs The Room was very spacious and comfortable. You make your own futon. Dinner was prepared in the Room. We were able to eat together at a relaxed pace. Steamed pork and lots of vegetables in a bamboo steamer Rice, three small side dishes, and bite-sized dessert (kuzumochi). Miso soup and tea were brought in a pot. For our grandchild: omurice, potato soup, and vanilla ice cream. There was a slightly larger fridge (freezer on top, refrigerator below), so even guests without meals could stock ingredients for cooking. Cooking utensils and plastic wrap were provided. There were separate trash bins for bottles/cans and burnable waste. There was a DVD player, and many DVDs were available to borrow in the lobby. On the balcony there were chairs and an ashtray. The women’s bath had four washing stations. Shampoo etc. were provided. Hair dryers were available (Dyson and ReFa). There is also a water dispenser. Breakfast was delicious too: Bread, rice, curry, scones, yogurt, dashi ochazuke, etc. On the 1st floor there is the dining area, baths, laundry area, ice machine, vending machines, table tennis, massage chairs— all free to use. There was also a kids’ room. Our grandchild played on the day we arrived and played plenty until check-out the next day. There was a large TV and lots of Yogibo cushions/beanbags. It was our first time staying at this type of Accommodation, but it was really great. Some guests were having BBQs in the garden as well. We’d like to come again. However, maybe because the elevator doors are slightly misaligned, they made an extremely loud roaring noise every time they opened or closed. It made us a bit worried. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Thank you very much for this time. The Facility was very clean and comfortable. I would love to use it again.

The view from the Accommodation is wonderful. We also enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace, and the meat was a real treat. The manager was kind, and we truly had a great time. We will definitely be back.

With a location right in front of Mt. Fuji, opening the curtains in the Room revealed a perfect view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. A small wooden deck with a wooden table and chairs allowed for an amazing coffee experience while enjoying the view of Mt. Fuji. This scenery at this price is incredibly cost-effective. The Room was spacious and very satisfying. I will definitely return!

Everyone was delighted with the view of Mount Fuji right in front of us. The meat served during the meal was tender and satisfying at 200g. From the bath in the Room, a first-grader was overjoyed by the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. The Hotel itself was quiet and peaceful.

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. It was a wonderful Hotel conveniently close to Lake Yamanaka. Thank you as well for the complimentary roasted marshmallow service. Above all, the meals were absolutely delicious! We would love to visit again.

An amazing location surrounded by breathtaking nature. In the morning, we took a walk with the kids through the great outdoors, spotting animal tracks and even wild squirrels and deer. It was a magnificent experience you can’t get in everyday life. What makes SANU special is being able to enjoy it all with peace of mind. From helpful communication before our Reservation to well-maintained Facilities and equipment, plus advance information about the surrounding area, there’s plenty of support to help you stay comfortably. Our whole family was able to enjoy this extraordinary experience with confidence.

Affordable, yet still glamping.

We stayed as a family, and what we loved most was the completely private space that comes with renting an entire house—so we could relax without worrying about anyone around us. The location at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Lake Yamanaka was also very appealing, and we truly enjoyed a luxurious time surrounded by nature. The spacious living room and well-equipped kitchen made it easy to unwind as if we were at home, and the seasonal scenery outside the windows was incredibly soothing. We took our time enjoying the fresh air in the large garden and greenery, and had fun cooking for ourselves in the kitchen—it really felt like staying at a vacation home. The freedom to wake up, eat, and spend our days on our own schedule was perfect for a family trip. It was also impressive how innovative the system was that allowed us to check in and check out smoothly without meeting staff in person. The bedding was comfortable and we slept very well, and it was reassuring that insect-repellent items were thoroughly provided. There were fewer insects than expected, which made our stay even more comfortable. It’s also conveniently located as a base for sightseeing around Lake Yamanaka, and it was a wonderful Accommodation where you can enjoy the special feel of an upscale private villa rental. We’d love to stay again and highly recommend it.

Seven of us, former high school classmates, stayed here for our reunion trip. Our criteria for choosing an Accommodation were: being able to chat without worrying about noise, having a bed for each person, cleanliness, available cooking utensils, and an outdoor smoking area. After staying here, everything exceeded our expectations and we were completely satisfied. It was a wonderfully fun and relaxing reunion trip—thank you so much. Check-in and check-out are done at a different location, but the staff member who assisted us was very friendly. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji this time, but we’d love to stay again. Highly recommended for groups traveling together!

Thank you for accommodating our request to change the room due to a concern about the smell. The new room had a view of Mt. Fuji, though it was partially obscured by clouds. We managed to capture some photos during the morning when it was visible. We heard that this room has recently been renovated to be barrier-free. The entrance features half tatami flooring, and the low table makes it easy to open suitcases. Although we didn’t use the private bath in the room, there is a large public Onsen on the first floor accessible with a passcode for added security, allowing us to enjoy bathing with peace of mind. The Onsen includes three showers, one baby chair, and amenities such as cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, cotton swabs, and cotton pads—all provided for your convenience. Please bring towels from your room when visiting. There were also several electric bicycles available and even some popular bikes on display in what seemed like an exhibition area. In front of the first-floor Onsen area are manga books and various play items available for guests' enjoyment. Yukata robes are provided nearby: sizes include 120cm for children; one size (150–160cm) for women; and options for men as well. While the exterior may appear aged from outside at first glance, inside is very clean with noticeable updates such as new carpets in hallways (at least on floors we explored). The café space on ground level adds charm too! In mornings limited-time complimentary coffee service awaits guests—a delightful touch before heading out exploring locally! On next day’s itinerary included visit Café Mont Blanc nearby—thankful parking arrangements made everything seamless enhancing overall experience greatly! Truly memorable trip indeed thanks again wholeheartedly choosing stay here Fujiyoshida region left lasting impression surely returning future stays accommodations same place!!

The exterior feels a bit dated, but the room itself didn’t bother me. It seemed to be well cleaned. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer were provided, but it was disappointing that skincare items (such as lotion) cost extra. Overall, it’s comparable to a typical business hotel with no major issues. The room had a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and an electric kettle, so I stayed comfortably. Complimentary bottled water was also provided. This stay was for visiting Fuji-Q Highland; it’s about a 5-minute drive away, which was very convenient. Thank you.

Thank you very much. Although we booked just before Golden Week, we were able to stay in a Room with a lake view. The interior had been renovated, and the tatami, washbasin, toilet, and shower room were all clean. It was especially nice to be able to see Mt. Fuji from the bath. We also enjoyed the delicious meals. Breakfast was a Western-style set. Since many Accommodations serve Japanese-style breakfasts, it felt refreshingly different. As some guests strongly prefer rice in the morning, it would be helpful if you could let guests know at check-in that “tomorrow’s breakfast is Western-style,” ideally with a sample photo. Many of the staff were from overseas, but their service showed they had received training in Japanese-style hospitality.

The Facility was clean and the Room had a great natural feel. We were worried because it rained throughout our trip, but since the BBQ was on a covered terrace, we could enjoy it without concern. By the time we finished the BBQ, the rain had stopped, and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the campfire. We were a bit anxious about self check-in, but it was easy to do. It turned into a very memorable trip, and we were really happy with our stay. We would love to stay again.

It was my first time using this place, and to be honest I didn’t have very high expectations. I was happy because it was so good it exceeded them. Even though the price was reasonable, being able to use the bath for free was the best part. The toilets and kitchen area were also clean and well maintained. If I had to be picky, I would have liked a bit more lighting on the deck.

The food was absolutely delicious. The Room was clean, and all the staff were courteous, so I was able to relax and enjoy a quiet stay. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. I truly appreciate your kindness, including adding breakfast for us at short notice at check-in and all the other thoughtful help. Regarding an incident in the bath (likely involving an inbound guest), someone left the shower running, left foam on the floor, and kept the door to the open-air bath open. It also seemed that someone wore off with another person’s slippers, so I think it would be helpful to provide guests with a written notice at check-in explaining proper bath etiquette. (As for slippers, attaching numbered clips or clothespins could solve this.) This was an Accommodation where I would love to stay again, so I hope to visit again in the future. Thank you for your continued support.

I stayed here on a weekday getaway, and in a word: it was amazing! I definitely want to stay again. First of all, I was impressed by the Room—it’s two-story (I’d never stayed in one before, so it felt really special). It was great that the dining area and the place to relax were clearly separated. The entrance is set up so you don’t run into other guests, you can park where you can see your car, and you can even see Mt. Fuji. The meals—from dinner all the way to a late-night snack—were carefully prepared, and I kept thinking, “How full are they trying to make me?” while happily finishing everything (lol). There were other things that impressed me too, but I’ll leave them out. I just wished checkout could be 11:00 so I could relax a little longer. Thank you very much!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was especially pleased with the polite and kind service from the international staff members.

We stayed with five people in the best room at Solana Smart INN Fuji Yamanakako Trailer House, and everyone was satisfied with everything. If we have the chance, we would definitely like to stay again. Since it’s more fun to discover after you arrive, I’ll refrain from sharing detailed comments.
