We stayed here with friends for a glamping trip, and it was amazing. If we have the chance to visit again, we’d love to stay here again!

We stayed at Villa Ansoleil’s private cottage. Thoughtful touches were found throughout the cottage, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We were also lucky with the climate and weather, and we could enjoy a front-facing view of Mt. Fuji from many spots around the cottage—absolutely satisfying. I’ve stayed at several Hotels around the Mt. Fuji area, but this was my favorite. Since it was a no-meals Plan, we shopped at a nearby supermarket, and having breakfast while enjoying a luxurious view of Mt. Fuji was amazing! The staff and owner were also very pleasant and helpful, which is another reason this cottage left such a great impression on us. It’s easy to see why there are so many positive Reviews. We would love to stay again and will recommend it to our friends as well. Thank you very much.

We booked the Birthday Plan for our first family glamping experience, which also celebrated my wife's birthday. With the meal-inclusive plan, we enjoyed unlimited soft drinks and alcohol from the drink server in the management building, which we could take back to our tent—a very convenient feature. The nearby mountains, river, and park provided great opportunities for exploration and fun with our kids. We visited in early September and enjoyed listening to cicadas while spotting dragonflies, lizards, crickets, and more. It seems that stag beetles can also be found around July to August.

Our family of three stayed here with two Toy Poodles. As many other guests have written, the property itself is wonderful, but what we appreciated most was being able to stay with our dogs without feeling hesitant or out of place. At check-in, the manager and his wife explained the facilities; they were both very friendly and kindly told us in detail, “Don’t worry,” including what to do if our dogs had an accident. The entire building is covered with carpet tiles, which also seemed very easy for our dogs to walk on. We truly felt that dogs are welcomed here as valued guests. Although it was a short stay, both our family and our dogs were able to relax completely without any stress. Next time, we hope to visit with a friend’s family as well. As long as things continue as they are now, we will definitely return. We sincerely hope Yamanakako House will be around for many years to come.

My mother stayed at this facility to celebrate her 77th birthday, a special milestone. Everyone was kind and provided very polite service, warmly welcoming us. Both dinner and breakfast were carefully prepared, with attention to every dish and sauce. Everything was delicious from start to finish, leaving us feeling truly happy. My mother was also very pleased and had a wonderful time. We would love to visit Auberge Mermaid again in the future. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories!

We stayed in a trailer house for the first time as a family of five. The interior was spacious and long, equipped with a kitchen, sofa, bunk bed, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. (It would be nice to have more plates.) Initially, the air conditioner was noisy, but once it cooled down to about 25 degrees Celsius, it became quiet. Outside, there was an open-air bath with a fence (enough for three people) and a playground for children. There was also a convenience store nearby which was very helpful. At night we had BBQ; however, we struggled to light the charcoal—it would be great if there were more fire starters available. Even with small children making noise, the distance between units provided peace of mind. The manager was very friendly and made our stay comfortable. We even forgot some items but they kindly sent them back to us—thank you so much! It was more affordable than staying at a Hotel and still enjoyable. Next time we'd love to try staying in one of the private rental units!

The size of this Stays was just right for spending time with family. It wasn't too large to feel unsettling, nor too small to feel cramped. It was about 100 square meters, perhaps? Given the season in December, it was quite cold outside, but the interior was well-heated and perfectly comfortable. A pellet stove was installed, and there was a fence around it for safety, making it reassuring for children. Stepping out into the garden, we were greeted by clear air and a starry sky, allowing us to enjoy a special time that can't be experienced in the city. This Property, which combines the tranquility of an old folk house with nature, was the perfect place to forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. The slowly flowing time and the winter-like crisp air left a wonderful impression on my heart. I especially recommend it to foreign guests.

We stayed for one night as a family of five. From the beginning, the staff provided courteous service when we informed them about our late check-in. After purchasing ingredients, we enjoyed a barbecue upon arrival, and they even helped us (almost entirely) with lighting the charcoal. We were given freshly picked vegetables from that morning, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. When we ran out of ice and planned to buy more, they quickly went out of their way to get it for us. The facility was stylish and exceptional, with cleanliness maintained to perfection. From arrival to check-out, their attentive service and hospitality left us deeply impressed—undoubtedly the best accommodation we've ever stayed at! Above all, the warmth and kindness of the staff stood out most. I can confidently recommend this place to others!

The Facility is new, clean, and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

We were truly impressed by the breathtaking views that let us fully enjoy Lake Kawaguchi, the sauna and open-air bath, the campfire, the teppanyaki grill table, drink-inclusive service, and more than ample Facilities/amenities—above all, by the heartfelt hospitality of the staff. We would love to stay again.

The Accommodation was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained, and we had a very comfortable stay. There were two baths (one large and one small). Depending on how busy it is, the system may vary, but during our stay we didn’t need a Reservation—we simply locked the door and used it when available. Our whole family used the larger bath, and the kids loved it. The bathroom was sparkling clean and felt great to use. Even the bath ceiling looked new, with panels properly replaced and everything spotless. The toilets were also very clean! We’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but it’s rare to find one managed to such a high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast was delicious home-style cooking. The portion size was just right and kept us full for a long time. We had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from our Room—and also from the dining area. We were impressed by the location as well. We chose a Plan without dinner, but please note that nearby restaurants close early. There seems to be an izakaya, but since we were traveling with children we skipped it this time. For dinner itself, there’s a 7-Eleven nearby so you can manage. The host couple were very kind, and we’d love to stay again! Thank you very much!

This was our first time glamping, so we were a little nervous, but the staff were very kind and attentive, which really helped. It was easier to enjoy than we expected. The views were beautiful, the food was delicious, and having drinks while looking at Mt. Fuji was amazing. We felt truly relaxed and had a perfect day. We would definitely like to come back again.

Although it was a short stay, the room was spacious and overall very clean, which made for a highly satisfying experience. It would be even better if the BBQ time could be extended! We had a wonderful time enjoying family togetherness. Thank you very much.

We had an amazing time surrounded by peaceful nature. The interior was clean and spacious, making it easy to relax, and it was very helpful that so many essentials were provided! Our dog also loved playing in the fluffy grass garden and had a great time. Thank you for such a wonderfully happy stay!!

Since I made the Reservation at the last minute, I stayed just for an overnight stop. There was an issue at the front desk because my Reservation wasn’t on the list, but I was later told it had been found. It seemed to be a Ryokan that used to be a former public lodge. The Room size and bath size were just right, and the kids were happy. Despite the hiccup, the proprietress was friendly and easy to talk to, so we had a comfortable stay. I was concerned there wasn’t a hair dryer in the bath area, but one is available to borrow, so it wasn’t a problem. The view of Mt. Fuji from the window was absolutely beautiful. It was only one night, but it was a fun trip. Thank you very much.

This is my third time staying here, and the location is excellent, the place is clean, and the service was outstanding. Thank you very much. I look forward to staying here again.

We stayed for one night with three families and our dog. Having three bedrooms was the deciding factor. The property was extremely clean and well maintained, and all the appliances were state-of-the-art… Every room, as well as the bathroom and kitchen, was spotless! When a place allows dogs, you usually have to accept a bit of wear or dirt, but we didn’t feel that at all—everything was so clean, and we had a very comfortable stay. For our toddler, the indoor swing, hammock, and slide were especially appealing—they played nonstop. The yard is also fenced in, so we could let the kids and our dog outside safely. The owner was very kind and pleasant, and also explained everything about the property. We were told you can see Mt. Fuji straight ahead from the window, but unfortunately it was cloudy so we couldn’t see it. We’d love to come back for another try.

We truly had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful Accommodation. Everything—from the space and amenities to each piece of furniture—was of the highest quality, making it feel luxuriously relaxing. One night wasn’t enough; it’s a place we’d love to visit again and again. The owner’s thoughtful attention to detail made our stay especially meaningful. We would definitely like to stay again, and we appreciate your kind support when we do.
