A lot has happened recently, and my husband took the lead and worked hard through it all. Now that things have finally settled down, we chose to stay here so he—and our dogs—could relax and enjoy some carefree time together. My husband said he was happy to experience something out of the ordinary again after a long time! The food was delicious, and we were truly satisfied with everything, including the Hotel staff’s hospitality and their thoughtful care for our dogs. Thank you very much for giving us such a wonderful time!

Six of us from work stayed here. It was fantastic—we all had a great time together with the sauna, cooking dinner, and roasting coffee. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we couldn’t get a clear view of Mt. Fuji, but the location is quiet and wonderful. We’d love to come again. I’m giving it one point less because we had to wait at check-in, but the staff explained everything well and we had no problems during our stay.

The dog run was a spacious yard with no obstacles, so our 1-year-old dog could run around safely. The building itself was modern, stylish, and very clean, and everything was well maintained and comfortable. The meal ingredients were prepped in advance—just follow the recipe and it turns out absolutely delicious! During our stay, we heard cuckoos calling—something we never hear at home—and it was so soothing to see our dog react to the sound. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon it was cloudy and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but we were more than satisfied just watching our dog relax and enjoy himself. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family stayed for one night. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. Dinner showed great attention to detail, and the wonderful dishes truly brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Both the fish and meat were grilled fresh on the spot, so everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast delivered to our Room also highlighted the ingredients just like dinner, and it was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Above all, every staff member was kind and welcoming, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! We brought our dog along, and they had so much fun playing around. We would love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday trip. Our Room faced Mt. Fuji, and the view was amazing—we could see Mt. Fuji clearly even from the open-air bath. The meals also included Mt. Fuji-themed dishes, which we enjoyed with all five senses. There was a fireworks festival at Lake Kawaguchi, and the hotel prepared special seating on the rooftop so we could watch comfortably. We were also able to make a Reservation for a surprise birthday cake through the website, and it was served at our requested time. The service was excellent, and we would love to stay again.

We stayed at Hakone Regina last year and loved it, so we chose this property. We had made a Reservation in February for our dog’s birthday, but heavy snow prevented us from coming, so this visit was our second attempt. It was a trip with my daughter, grandchild, and our dog. In Hakone we had in-room dining, but here meals are served in the restaurant. During dinner, we were able to have our dog sit in one of the carts provided by Regina, and she behaved wonderfully. She normally doesn’t ride in a cart, but she ended up loving it! The food was delicious, and since my daughter’s and grandchild’s birthdays were coming up, we ordered a tart cake. We were able to celebrate their birthdays as well, which became a truly wonderful memory. We also received photos. We could relax comfortably in the Room, and since there is an Onsen bath in the Room as well, we enjoyed that at a leisurely pace. The dog run also felt almost private—maybe there weren’t many other dogs—so we had a great time. The wood chips are gentle on their paws. On the way home, there was a pool set up so we let our dog swim, and she was thrilled! The life jackets and blower were very helpful. She dried quickly with minimal stress. Compared with Hakone last year, some of the staff service felt a bit cold this time. Maybe it was because there were more guests or because dining is in the restaurant rather than in-room? It would have been nicer if they had spoken to the dogs a little more. Also at Hakone before, the mattress was very comfortable and helped relieve fatigue; later I contacted them and bought the same brand mattress (Serta). This time it seemed like a different mattress brand/model than before, which was slightly disappointing. Next time I’d like to stay at another Regina property again. Thank you for all your help!

Because a Room was available, they upgraded me from the Room I had reserved to a newly renovated, more spacious Room. It was so spotless that I was genuinely surprised. The large public bath had three types of baths and a sauna, and since it was a weekday during the rainy season, I could enjoy it almost privately and relax at my own pace. The ReFa hair dryer, KEYUCA cups, and cute cushions made the Room feel especially appealing for women. I only met two staff members at check-in and check-out, but both were extremely courteous and helpful. I wasn’t traveling for sightseeing this time—I simply wanted an affordable Hotel where I could stay one night alone with access to an Onsen—but it was so comfortable that I’d love to stay again next year with my family.

We stayed as a group of four—my elderly parents, my sibling, and me—who usually live apart. My parents were especially pleased with the heartfelt hospitality. The meals were excellent; I particularly enjoyed the dessert. We will visit again.

I traveled because I wanted to let my three dogs run around and play freely! Unfortunately, two typhoons were approaching during our stay, but the indoor dog run meant all three could run as much as they wanted and were in great spirits. Since we were worried about the weather, we arrived at the Hotel early, and being able to use the indoor dog run was a big help. Both the dinner course and breakfast were delicious, and since this trip also celebrated our wedding anniversary, we were very satisfied. On our way home, our family talked about how we hope it will be sunny next time—and we’re already looking forward to returning. I was surprised at how fast the front desk explanation was at check-in, but the restaurant staff provided very courteous service and made our time truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

A typhoon was approaching, so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji clearly, but thanks to the Hotel’s attentive service, we had a very comfortable stay. Above all, being able to walk around the Hotel in loungewear and slippers like at an Onsen Facility was so convenient and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the late-night soba we’d been looking forward to—there were two varieties, and we were very satisfied. It made us want to stay at other La Vista properties again and build on that satisfaction even more.

Because I live in Kanagawa and this area is so close, I had never looked for Accommodation around here before. Thanks to IKYU, I was able to discover such a wonderful Accommodation so nearby. Although I had seen some comments from other guests complaining about the staff’s service, every member of the team provided warm, hospitality-filled service without exception, and I truly enjoyed my stay in the best possible mood. This is a very quiet Accommodation with only 16 Rooms, and there are Onsen not only in the Rooms but also private baths and a large public bath. The meals were plentiful and well balanced; we were delighted to enjoy grilled char (iwana) with salt and Koshu beef as well. The road leading to the Accommodation is narrow, but as it is the only property there, it felt like a hidden hot spring retreat—absolutely wonderful. Even in this time of labor shortages, an elderly staff member kindly took care of us attentively until the very end. Knowing how demanding it must be late at night and early in the morning left me deeply impressed. They even saw us off until we were completely out of sight. I would love to visit again; however, we were told that only 8 of the 16 Rooms are currently in operation, making Reservations difficult to secure. I am truly grateful for an unforgettable trip accompanied by the soothing sound of the river flowing throughout the night.

Since my first stay around 2019, this has been my number one “Accommodation I want to return to.” Sometimes revisiting a wonderful Accommodation can be a little disappointing, but this time there was nothing like that at all—I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the stay once again. The Room had a natural interior with the warmth of wood and felt very comfortable, and the lobby was also a relaxing space surrounded by greenery. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like an escape from everyday life. Above all, the dining was outstanding. Not only did everything taste amazing, but the presentation and overall experience made it exciting—wondering what would come next was part of the fun. Even my partner, who doesn’t often say “delicious,” was genuinely impressed by the meat dish. Along with the meat’s natural sweetness and rich flavor, the pairing with the sauce was excellent—we were still talking on our way home about how truly delicious it was. It didn’t just meet expectations; it reminded me all over again how special this Accommodation is. We would love to visit again.

We chose this Hotel for the final stop of our trip, and the new Room, with its simple yet stylish interior and spacious bath, helped us forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Both dinner and breakfast were truly delicious, and you could tell they were carefully prepared. The presentation was not overly flashy but tasteful, and we were very satisfied. Perhaps because everything was so well cleaned, the stately atmosphere of the classic building stood out even more, and simply being in places like the lobby or restaurant lifted our spirits. My husband’s birthday is coming up soon, so I mentioned it in advance; even so, we were deeply moved to receive a message on the dessert plate. For us as an older couple, your heartfelt hospitality made this a memorable trip. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the staff who assisted us.

This was my first stay here. I have stayed at other Regina Resorts before, so I felt reassured, but this exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome on arrival by car to the attentive check-in service, everything was handled with great care. I was a little worried that the standard Room might feel small, but it was well designed, compact, and very easy to use. The Italian dinner was delicious and left both my stomach and heart full. Breakfast was also satisfying, and the staff were thoughtful and wonderful throughout. I would definitely like to stay again.

As with last year, everything was outstanding—from the staff’s hospitality and the meals to the baths and all Facilities. It also coincided with the fireworks festival, which made for a truly happy time.

The website highlighted the dining, and indeed both dinner and breakfast were as beautiful and delicious as expected. The service was attentive, making our stay very comfortable. The view from the terrace is well worth seeing, so don’t miss it.

We stayed with relatives as a group of four. The Room was compact, but it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The meals were carefully prepared and very delicious. Since it was just us and one other couple staying, we were lucky to enjoy a very relaxed atmosphere. The owners’ hospitality was wonderful. Thank you very much.

This was our first stay. We made a Reservation because it had great reviews among many Hotels, and we were very satisfied with our stay. As requested in advance, the Rooms were arranged next to each other, which was very helpful. The Room cleaning was thorough, and we had a clean and comfortable stay. The staff at check-in/check-out and the restaurant team were courteous, making our experience pleasant. The dinner and breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the open-air bath was excellent. Our first trip with family and friends became a wonderful memory. We would like to stay here again when we visit Mt. Fuji.

I chose to stay at another Kamenoi property because I was very satisfied with my previous two stays, and this was also an excellent Hotel. The biggest deciding factor was the kids’ area. My children were thrilled with the tall play equipment, and everything was cushioned so they could play safely. There were also plenty of BRIO toys and pretend-play sets—so many options! Because the kids loved it so much, even after checking out we were allowed to stay until 12:00. It was great to be able to spend short gaps of time between meals and the baths there, and even on bad-weather days we could enjoy the kids’ park or the book lounge. Our Room was a bit far, so if you have someone with limited mobility in your group, it may be best to request a closer Room in advance. The Room was spacious and kept very clean. However, there were no skincare amenities provided for use in the Room, and it was slightly inconvenient that there wasn’t a trash bin by the sink. The TV had YouTube and subscription streaming apps as well, which made our stay comfortable without getting bored. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t an open-air bath, but the bathing hours were long and it felt great. The in-house wear was a separate top and bottom set that was easy to move around in, so we didn’t need to bring pajamas. We added both breakfast and dinner, and it was absolutely the right choice! There was a wide variety of dishes and everything tasted great—we were also happy to try local specialties such as hoto noodles. The late-night soba was delicious too. Above all, the staff were very friendly and spoke kindly to our children often. Their wonderful smiles really put us at ease. We did a Multiple Night Stay for 3 nights, which turned out to be perfect. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.
