We had a very comfortable stay. The surroundings were quiet, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, and both the Room and the bath were surprisingly clean. The owner was very kind to us, which made our stay truly pleasant. It was a wonderful trip, and we are grateful to the owner.

This was a pension run by a child-loving couple who treated us kindly while keeping a comfortable distance. The meals were very delicious, and there were plenty of toys, so our child had a great time too. Given the area where temperatures don’t rise easily, I was surprised there was no air conditioning. Since we’re used to AC, it felt a bit humid. However, it became more comfortable as it got later at night. There aren’t many power outlets, so I thought an extension cord would be helpful for charging phones and moving the fan around. Also, although everything was kept clean, we did see ants indoors and small bugs popping in to say hello. Since it’s an Accommodation in the woods, this was acceptable for us, but people who dislike insects might make a fuss. SoftBank reception was weak, but the Wi‑Fi saved us. Overall, it was a very comfortable and wonderful Accommodation. We hope the couple take good care of themselves and can keep this place going for a long time.

We stayed in the Bridge Building, and it was an excellent Accommodation with abundant nature, well-equipped Facilities, and a spacious, clean bathroom. In the Front Building, there was complimentary ice cream as well as free-to-borrow cooking oil and seasonings. The staff were very friendly—when it was raining at check-in, they brought an umbrella out to our car, and at check-out several of them waved us off. It’s an Accommodation we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

I stayed here with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. The owner was incredibly kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. We could see Mt. Fuji beautifully even from our Room! We were able to admire Mt. Fuji without a single cloud from the pension’s garden—it was truly breathtaking. The bath used Onsen water, and even at 170 cm tall, I could stretch out my legs comfortably. We were also impressed by the autographs of famous people such as Hiroshi Abe. We really appreciated the owner’s thoughtful attention to detail. When we stay at Lake Yamanaka again, we would love to return. We made wonderful memories—thank you so much!!

I planned a trip on short notice and looked for accommodation while keeping costs as low as possible. The only drawback was that the room did not have a private bathroom or toilet, but it was not a major issue. Since the price was low, I did not have high expectations for the meals, but I was pleasantly surprised in a good way. Both breakfast and dinner had plenty of variety and were very delicious, leaving me completely satisfied. It is an accommodation I would love to stay at again when visiting the area.

We stayed here with friends for a glamping trip, and it was amazing. If we have the chance to visit again, we’d love to stay here again!

We stayed at Villa Ansoleil’s private cottage. Thoughtful touches were found throughout the cottage, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We were also lucky with the climate and weather, and we could enjoy a front-facing view of Mt. Fuji from many spots around the cottage—absolutely satisfying. I’ve stayed at several Hotels around the Mt. Fuji area, but this was my favorite. Since it was a no-meals Plan, we shopped at a nearby supermarket, and having breakfast while enjoying a luxurious view of Mt. Fuji was amazing! The staff and owner were also very pleasant and helpful, which is another reason this cottage left such a great impression on us. It’s easy to see why there are so many positive Reviews. We would love to stay again and will recommend it to our friends as well. Thank you very much.

My spouse, our daughters, and our grandchild stayed here and were very well taken care of. Twin-bed Japanese-Western Room with breakfast and dinner included Separate bath and toilet, two TVs The Room was very spacious and comfortable. You make your own futon. Dinner was prepared in the Room. We were able to eat together at a relaxed pace. Steamed pork and lots of vegetables in a bamboo steamer Rice, three small side dishes, and bite-sized dessert (kuzumochi). Miso soup and tea were brought in a pot. For our grandchild: omurice, potato soup, and vanilla ice cream. There was a slightly larger fridge (freezer on top, refrigerator below), so even guests without meals could stock ingredients for cooking. Cooking utensils and plastic wrap were provided. There were separate trash bins for bottles/cans and burnable waste. There was a DVD player, and many DVDs were available to borrow in the lobby. On the balcony there were chairs and an ashtray. The women’s bath had four washing stations. Shampoo etc. were provided. Hair dryers were available (Dyson and ReFa). There is also a water dispenser. Breakfast was delicious too: Bread, rice, curry, scones, yogurt, dashi ochazuke, etc. On the 1st floor there is the dining area, baths, laundry area, ice machine, vending machines, table tennis, massage chairs— all free to use. There was also a kids’ room. Our grandchild played on the day we arrived and played plenty until check-out the next day. There was a large TV and lots of Yogibo cushions/beanbags. It was our first time staying at this type of Accommodation, but it was really great. Some guests were having BBQs in the garden as well. We’d like to come again. However, maybe because the elevator doors are slightly misaligned, they made an extremely loud roaring noise every time they opened or closed. It made us a bit worried. We were truly impressed by the hostess’s warm and wonderful personality. The Room, toilet, and bath were all kept very clean, so we had a comfortable stay. She also recommended a popular local bakery, which we were able to visit. We even got to see her daughter in a yukata, which added an extra touch of charm to the summer fireworks. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again.

We booked the Birthday Plan for our first family glamping experience, which also celebrated my wife's birthday. With the meal-inclusive plan, we enjoyed unlimited soft drinks and alcohol from the drink server in the management building, which we could take back to our tent—a very convenient feature. The nearby mountains, river, and park provided great opportunities for exploration and fun with our kids. We visited in early September and enjoyed listening to cicadas while spotting dragonflies, lizards, crickets, and more. It seems that stag beetles can also be found around July to August.

Every early December, we always stay here for smelt fishing at Lake Yamanaka. The Room has been renovated and is clean, and above all, the dinner is hearty and very delicious. The coffee sticks and tea available on each floor are helpful. We will come back again next year!

The weather was cloudy and rainy, so we could only catch a glimpse of the majestic view of Mt. Fuji, which was a bit disappointing... The location would have been amazing on a clear day. Since it was an entire villa, it felt like staying in a private vacation home and was very relaxing. Personally, I found it very convenient that there was a washing machine and the bathroom had a drying function. The meals were also delicious. Above all, the staff were kind and efficient in their service, which made our stay even better. Thank you for taking care of us!

The majestic view of Mount Fuji can be enjoyed from the living room, balcony, and even the bathroom, making it an exceptional experience. The Room was warm, clean, and free of unpleasant odors, ensuring a comfortable stay overall. With parking space available, it is perfect for staying with family or friends. It is also conveniently located near Kawaguchiko Station and close to a famous Lawson convenience store and restaurants. Initially, I thought I needed to use the QR code provided during pre-registration but realized that wasn’t the case. After some confusion, I called the management company for assistance. They responded promptly but mentioned an email had been sent; however, as it was sent after 5 PM on the previous day, I hadn’t noticed it. The system required entering a passcode to unlock the door; knowing this process earlier would have been helpful. Additionally, when pressing the button to fill up the bathwater, a message appeared on the panel saying "Please open hot water outlet," but no water came out initially. Upon checking instructions on the table, it mentioned either using a hot water outlet or faucet; in this building’s case, it was through faucets. If this had been indicated directly on the button itself (e.g., "Use faucet"), confusion could have been avoided. There were only bath towels and hand towels provided per person; having face towels would have been appreciated as well. While there was a washing machine with detergent pods available (which was great), only towel racks were provided for drying laundry—adding hangers or clip hangers would make things even more convenient. I’d love to stay here again if given another opportunity! Thank you very much!

The Accommodation was located on the shores of Lake Yamanaka and offered a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. The showers and toilets were shared, but they were well cleaned, and combined with the affordable rate, it was not an issue at all. I was also able to sleep soundly.

My mother stayed at this facility to celebrate her 77th birthday, a special milestone. Everyone was kind and provided very polite service, warmly welcoming us. Both dinner and breakfast were carefully prepared, with attention to every dish and sauce. Everything was delicious from start to finish, leaving us feeling truly happy. My mother was also very pleased and had a wonderful time. We would love to visit Auberge Mermaid again in the future. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories!

We stayed in a trailer house for the first time as a family of five. The interior was spacious and long, equipped with a kitchen, sofa, bunk bed, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. (It would be nice to have more plates.) Initially, the air conditioner was noisy, but once it cooled down to about 25 degrees Celsius, it became quiet. Outside, there was an open-air bath with a fence (enough for three people) and a playground for children. There was also a convenience store nearby which was very helpful. At night we had BBQ; however, we struggled to light the charcoal—it would be great if there were more fire starters available. Even with small children making noise, the distance between units provided peace of mind. The manager was very friendly and made our stay comfortable. We even forgot some items but they kindly sent them back to us—thank you so much! It was more affordable than staying at a Hotel and still enjoyable. Next time we'd love to try staying in one of the private rental units!

Although it’s an older building, it was very clean and well maintained. Best of all, the view of Mt. Fuji is spectacular! The service was excellent, and thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. We’ll be back!

The views were great, the room was clean, and the Facilities were well equipped—overall, it was excellent. The village chief’s hospitality was also wonderful. It was a shame that Mt. Fuji was hidden, but we would love to stay again.

This was my second stay. It was very disappointing that the weather did not allow us to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Yamanaka in the rain and the autumn leaves were nice in their own way! There were some crumbs like snacks on the floor near the window, but everything else was very clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant stay. I thought it would be nice if there were mops or vacuum cleaners available for guests to use when they make a mess, so they can clean up themselves and maintain a higher level of hygiene. I also wished for some bath cleaning supplies for reheating the bath. The amenities are excellent.

The building is new and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. There are three bedrooms, providing privacy even for two families. While it doesn't have an Onsen, the bathroom features a jet bath, and on clear days, you might catch a view of Mt. Fuji. Everything you need is provided except pajamas and food ingredients, so you can come empty-handed. Complimentary coffee, tea, water, and ice are also available. Although we didn't use the BBQ area this time due to the cold season (additional fees apply), it’s located next to the terrace and seems perfect for enjoying with friends or family. It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from the terrace or BBQ area due to weather conditions. We look forward to visiting again!
