It was a wonderful place I can confidently recommend to others! Here are the highlights that impressed us, along with a couple of small points we noticed. ◯ Highlights Beautifully balanced meals: The ingredients prepared in the refrigerator were the perfect amount—not too much, not too little. The colors and presentation were lovely, everything felt very clean, and we were excited even before eating. The selection of complimentary drinks included in the Accommodation Fee was also excellent! User-friendly kitchen: The dining kitchen was spacious and easy to move around in, and the grill was simple to use, making cooking fun. A fully equipped authentic spa: Not only a bath, but also a sauna and cold plunge pool—an incredibly relaxing experience. ◯ With hopes for future improvements (why we rated 4 stars) The boundary between indoors and outdoors on the way to the open-air bath was very slippery, so we placed towels down ourselves as a precaution. Guests with small children or elderly family members may want to be especially careful. Moving between the Room, toilet, bath, and dining area requires outdoor footwear throughout, but we found the provided shoes a bit difficult to wear. More slip-on options would make it even more comfortable. That said, our overall satisfaction was extremely high—so much so that these minor points hardly mattered—and it became a great memory for us. We would love to stay again!

The staff’s greetings are outstanding. The Facility and Rooms are frequently renovated, so everything is spotless. The dinner and breakfast venues also feel fresh, and you can really see the ongoing effort to keep updating the menu, interior design, and even the lighting. The food is stylish with a wide variety of dishes. The dessert corner at dinner is especially delicious, with baked sweets and cakes made using various fruits. Personally, I was happy to see blueberries on the buffet given the season. Marriott never disappoints wherever you stay in Japan or abroad, but Yamanakako was particularly memorable!

We stayed here before, and since our child said, “I want to stay again,” we decided to return. It’s a maisonette-style Room, with high ceilings in the living area on the third floor—very stylishly designed. Although breakfast is complimentary, it was very satisfying and delicious. The only downsides were that there was no mobile signal in the first-floor bedroom, and there was a slight lingering barbecue smell in the Room. It felt different from a typical Hotel, and we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Our family of four stayed for one night. On the first day we went to Fuji-Q Highland, and on the second day we toured around Lake Kawaguchi. From the welcome drink to kid-friendly services, the hospitality was wonderful. The kids were especially happy with the fireworks they received. In central Tokyo, there are only limited places where you can set off fireworks... The Room was clean and well maintained, and the Facility offerings were excellent. There were also amenities and equipment not listed on the website (bottled water, Ramune soda, coffee and tea, a hair iron, bathrobes, a ride to the station the next morning, and rental bicycles), so you won’t have any trouble as long as you bring only your basic personal items. Having breakfast delivered was also quietly appreciated. If we had to go to a dining area or pick it up somewhere, we would have needed to get ready—but it was easy to just receive it right after waking up.

We booked the Birthday Plan for our first family glamping experience, which also celebrated my wife's birthday. With the meal-inclusive plan, we enjoyed unlimited soft drinks and alcohol from the drink server in the management building, which we could take back to our tent—a very convenient feature. The nearby mountains, river, and park provided great opportunities for exploration and fun with our kids. We visited in early September and enjoyed listening to cicadas while spotting dragonflies, lizards, crickets, and more. It seems that stag beetles can also be found around July to August.

This was my second stay. It was very disappointing that the weather did not allow us to see Mt. Fuji, but the view of Lake Yamanaka in the rain and the autumn leaves were nice in their own way! There were some crumbs like snacks on the floor near the window, but everything else was very clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant stay. I thought it would be nice if there were mops or vacuum cleaners available for guests to use when they make a mess, so they can clean up themselves and maintain a higher level of hygiene. I also wished for some bath cleaning supplies for reheating the bath. The amenities are excellent.

The building is new and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. There are three bedrooms, providing privacy even for two families. While it doesn't have an Onsen, the bathroom features a jet bath, and on clear days, you might catch a view of Mt. Fuji. Everything you need is provided except pajamas and food ingredients, so you can come empty-handed. Complimentary coffee, tea, water, and ice are also available. Although we didn't use the BBQ area this time due to the cold season (additional fees apply), it’s located next to the terrace and seems perfect for enjoying with friends or family. It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji from the terrace or BBQ area due to weather conditions. We look forward to visiting again!

This Accommodation is ideal for traveling with a large group. From the spacious pool and huge sauna to the high-quality bedrooms, everything is exceptional. I have stayed at many Accommodations, but this one stands out as top-class in both scale and attention to detail. However, since check-in is done online, a website error caused delays during check-in. The staff kindly guided us over the phone, but I hope this issue will not occur on our next visit.

This was our first time glamping, so we were a little nervous, but the staff were very kind and attentive, which really helped. It was easier to enjoy than we expected.
