This was our first stay, and in short, both our dog and we were completely satisfied. The Facility was spotless and felt very clean. The daybed in the Room was extremely comfortable, and we were able to relax and lounge around together with our dog. Unfortunately it rained that day, but the ocean-view scenery was still wonderfully refreshing. Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation for the same type of Room again. The service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive—and left a great overall impression. There was also an excellent selection of dog supplies and treats; truly thoughtful service that anticipates every need. We enjoyed all of the meals and drinks as well—they were delicious. We’ll likely be back again soon, and we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you very much for everything.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Accommodation. This was my second stay, and it’s still very much to my taste. All of the staff were extremely kind and pleasant. I used the large public bath a total of four times! I especially love the balcony just before the bath—after bathing, I sit on the balcony, feel the sea breeze, and cool down as I dry off. As for the meals, it seems there has been a change in who prepares them, and the menu has a distinctive twist. Preferences may vary. Also, last time I stayed I remember feeling that the portion sizes were just right or perhaps slightly small, but this time there was more than I could finish.

We stayed here as a couple on this trip. Before booking, we saw it on TV and knew we wanted to visit, so we decided to stay here! The welcome drink was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly kind. Both dinner and breakfast felt luxurious, and everything was delicious. It was a hotel filled with smiling guests. Next time, we’d love to bring our grandchildren and enjoy it together! Thank you very much.

The parking lot is right in front of the Hotel, and the Room was spacious enough. The staff were very welcoming, and we had a comfortable stay. Thank you.

The Room was very clean, and we were able to eat our fill at the meals! After about a 1-minute walk through the forest, you can reach the sea right away. However, the sea can be a bit rough, so you need to be careful—but since there was no one else around, we were able to enjoy it to the fullest!! I’m not sure if it’s privately run, but the staff who helped us were very kind and made us feel comfortable. With warm hospitality, delicious food, and a clean glamping site, we had two very satisfying days! Thank you very much.

There is no large public bath here, but that wasn’t an issue. If you prefer a large public bath, you can use the main building, about a 5-minute walk away. I didn’t use it because I didn’t want to sweat in the heat, and the in-room bath was more than enough. The meals were also very delicious and stylish. Above all, the location is outstanding—our Room was a corner room, and right in front of us was the torii gate of Oiso Maejinja Shrine. We arrived at night so we couldn’t see much, but when we woke up in the morning we were truly amazed. We could watch the sunrise through the torii gate from our Room. Guests from other Hotels also seemed to gather on the sidewalk below with their cameras ready. This may be the best location among Hotels in this area.

We stayed here to visit Oarai Aquarium and Kairakuen Garden. There was a welcome drink, so we had coffee before heading to our room. For three guests, the room had twin beds plus a full set of futons. The room had been renovated in a modern style and was very comfortable, and we loved the view from the window—right in front of us were the river and bridge, with the ocean beyond. Dinner was Japanese cuisine at the restaurant, with sashimi and fried dishes as well, and there was more than enough food. They also offered free ramen at night, which my son happily went to enjoy. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection; they grilled fish on the spot and it was delicious. Excellent value for money—we’d definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here again this year following last year. The Room was clean, equipped with necessary amenities and comfortable yukata, and there is even a small but satisfying public bath. The izakaya next door is very convenient for dinner. This time, we were especially moved when we opened the Room door after check-in and saw the stunning sunset through the window.

We travel about once or twice a month, and we found this Hotel to be exceptionally kind. They helped us in many ways, and we are truly grateful—we had a very pleasant trip. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, this Ryokan was thoughtful and attentive throughout, from the initial phone call until we left. I usually stay at Business Hotels, so a Ryokan like this was a refreshing change. The Ryokan itself seems to have some history, but the wash area and toilets looked newly renovated and were very clean. The private family bath with a sauna was also great. However, the water temperature was quite hot, so we couldn’t soak for long. Next time, I’d like to come back and enjoy the meals as well. I think my parents would appreciate it too.

Stayed one night with a family of four and our toy poodle. The Room was very cute, and my daughter was thrilled! At night, the light-up decorations and campfire-like setup made for great photo opportunities. My husband enjoyed the all-you-can-drink service and ended up falling asleep in the kotatsu. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was a bit disappointing that there was no bathtub in the pet-friendly Room, but we enjoyed the open-air bath at a nearby public bathhouse instead. We were supposed to receive a mermaid pen as a gift for answering the survey, but I forgot to mention it during checkout, leaving my daughter disappointed ( ; ; ).

Stayed as a couple with a small dog. This accommodation felt more like a pension than a hotel. It was like visiting a seaside villa, with great ocean views from the accommodation and a relaxing stay. The meals were full of Ibaraki specialties, including natto, seafood, beef, and melon—plentiful and satisfying. It was slightly disappointing that access to the beach from the accommodation was far, as the direct stairs seemed to be deteriorating and unusable. The owner had a wonderful personality and their love for dogs made our stay enjoyable.

I ordered the seafood BBQ for dinner and was amazed by the large spiny lobster. Since it’s Oarai, I also wished to try clams. Breakfast was delicious as well. It would have been even better if the fridge had not only water but also a few soft drinks or beers. The pool and private spa (with sauna) were very relaxing. With the beach right in front, I enjoyed going to the sea too. It would be nice if sandals were available for rent. Thank you very much!

We stayed in a Japanese-style Room (12 tatami mats + veranda) with four adults. The Room was spacious and comfortable. The washbasin area, bathroom, and toilet were clean and well maintained, but due to the Room layout we needed to change into slippers when using them, which was a bit inconvenient. That said, the thoughtful touches were excellent: an extension cord, a USB charger and 3-in-1 charging cable were provided, and there was even a pitcher of iced water—great service that more than made up for any inconvenience. Breakfast with unlimited TKG (rice with raw egg) was very satisfying. Alongside the Japanese set meal, there were plenty of eggs plus a wide variety of soy sauces, bonito flakes, and Korean seaweed, so we could enjoy different combinations. We were too full to try it ourselves, but it seems soft-serve ice cream was also available (you ask the staff for a cup). One small request: I would have liked a small sign explaining the characteristics of each soy sauce. Not knowing the differences, I used one that turned out very salty and ended up needing extra rice and egg—since it was my second bowl of rice I couldn’t finish it alone and had my son and daughter help me eat it. Personal mishap aside, I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance. It was a kind Accommodation full of considerate hospitality.

The meals were delicious! The bath was a rock bath and very nice! Is there only one? What about for women? Is it mixed bathing? It was disappointing as there were only men.
