The breakfast is luxurious and excellent. I was amazed by the live kitchen with its wide variety of menu options. There is also a large public bath, so I highly recommend it.

Last autumn, my wife (73) and I (75) both underwent surgery, and we were completely exhausted both physically and mentally. After the New Year, once things finally settled down, we planned an easy one-night trip nearby to relax. I always use IKYU to book travel, and after searching with various criteria, I found a reasonably priced Hotel with excellent Reviews. That was Hotel Green Core Bando, where we stayed this time. And the result... it truly was a wonderful Hotel just as the ratings suggested. The staff were very attentive, and the Room was impeccably clean. We stayed in a twin Room; it felt more spacious than expected, and the bathroom with a separate washing area was fantastic. Amenities are brought in by guests at check-in as needed, which I think is efficient and waste-free. And breakfast the next morning... simple but perfectly well-balanced selection—just as its reputation promised. I was surprised to see stewed offal on the breakfast menu, but it was outstanding. And of course—this is Ibaraki—natto was delicious too. It seems this Hotel does not serve dinner, but there are surprisingly many restaurants nearby; the izakaya we visited this time was excellent as well. Around the Hotel there are also many shops such as Japanese confectionery stores, pickle shops, and soba restaurants—and there’s even a supermarket right close by. The local people were down-to-earth and friendly, and without exception everything we ate was delicious. This time it was only one night, but there are many historical sights related to Taira no Masakado as well as numerous shrines—far too much to cover in just one night. Next time we would like to stay for two or three nights and enjoy traveling at a slower pace. Thank you very much for everything.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. It was conveniently located near the station with easy access, and the coin laundry and bath were also easy to use. The staff service was excellent, and I would like to stay again.

An email arrived in advance with the Room number and the door code for the Room key, but when I went to the front desk, the staff took care of everything for me. Thank you! The Room was very clean, and the bed was so fluffy... I was able to relax and sleep soundly. A few things I noticed: the Room felt a bit dry, so my throat started to hurt, the bathroom drain had a slight odor, and since there aren’t any places to eat around the Facility, it was a bit inconvenient. I’d like to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. I was quite anxious because there didn’t seem to be many solo female guests, but there was staff at the front desk during check-in and they explained everything clearly, which made me feel very comfortable. One meal (a frozen meal) is included as a complimentary service, and I had it for breakfast the next morning. The Room has a clean white theme and felt very fresh—everything was spotless down to the corners. The bed was also very comfortable and I slept well. There are various amenities available at the front desk, which was very convenient. If I had to mention anything, when large vehicles passed on the road in front of the Hotel, there was slight shaking and some noise. However, earplugs are available at the front desk, so if you’re sensitive to noise, please pick them up at check-in. For what it’s worth, I couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms at all. Also, there were a lot of weeds near the entrance to the Hotel parking lot, making it hard to see cars coming from the right when exiting. I think it would be better if they trimmed them. Overall though, considering the value for money, service, and amenities, it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan, and everything about the stay was perfectly fine, but I was especially impressed by the excellent service from the woman at the front desk. If I have another opportunity, I think I will stay here again—thank you in advance for your kind assistance at that time.

I stayed here on a business trip. It’s a route I usually take, but I hadn’t noticed this place before. The Onsen is in an annex, and guests can reach it from the main building via a connecting corridor. They also seem to offer day-use bathing, with a separate entrance for the general public. There are three baths at different temperatures and a cooling/rest area, so I could relax and take my time. I’d like to stay here again.
