The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. The Room was clean, and the bath was very relaxing. There were plenty of drinks and snacks provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the rice-based dishes.

Quiet and reassuring. Impeccably clean. From the stairs to the lobby, every space reflects the owner’s attention to detail. My favorite is the wraparound balcony—spending Kyoto’s magic hour here always leaves me feeling quietly happy.

I felt that the unique atmosphere—where FAUCHON harmonizes with Kyoto’s traditional culture—is a distinctive charm found only at this Hotel. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to enjoy dinner this time, but I did have breakfast at the top-floor restaurant. In the morning, as I entered the sophisticated space bathed in brilliant light, a beautiful view of Higashiyama unfolded before me, and I found myself completely absorbed by the stunning scenery. Breakfast enjoyed amid the openness unique to the top floor was exceptional, making my stay in Kyoto even richer and more memorable. The top-floor restaurant is known as a place where guests can enjoy their meal along with spectacular views. I was also deeply impressed by the staff’s attentive and warm hospitality. Through each thoughtful gesture, I could truly feel how much they value their guests, and it made my stay extremely comfortable. This stay was not merely Accommodation, but a special experience of fine cuisine, culture, and high-quality time. When I visit Kyoto again, I would love to stay here once more. It was an unforgettable stay where Parisian elegance and Kyoto’s charm were beautifully in harmony.

I have stayed here several times. The atmosphere throughout the Hotel is wonderful, and it feels truly comfortable, with thoughtful attention to even the smallest details. I also love the little extras during my stay, such as drinks in the refrigerator and light snacks and beverages in the lounge. It’s not overly flashy, so I can relax, and every time I stay I’m reminded how great this Hotel is. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

The Facility was a bit old, but the staff were kind and welcoming, and I had a very pleasant stay. I also really enjoyed the happy hour and the morning obanzai—they were delicious. If I come to Kyoto again, I will stay here.

Convenient access to tourist attractions such as Kiyomizu-dera, and I had a comfortable stay for two days. The accommodation had a large public bath, but perhaps due to the high number of foreign guests, it was not crowded. I used it in the morning and evening and always enjoyed it in peace.

This was my second stay. Last time, the lounge offered unlimited alcoholic drinks, and this time I mistakenly assumed it was included again based only on the photos. Coffee, black tea, and green tea are available for free. We stayed as a group of three, and there were three sets of bedding. It was also great that the shower, toilet, and sink were separate. The bus stop is right nearby, which made getting to and from sightseeing very convenient. They also stored our luggage for us, which was a big help. I would like to stay here again.

The Accommodation was wonderful, and the meals were carefully prepared and delicious—being able to enjoy them in the Room in comfortable, relaxed clothes was such a treat. My favorite drinks went down very easily. Everyone at the Accommodation was so kind, and our conversations were enjoyable, making it a truly lovely day. My friend liked it so much that they said they want to stay again, so we will be staying again soon. Thank you very much again.

Thank you for your hospitality during the New Year holidays. We had a very pleasant stay. On 12/31, we went out after dinner to visit temples and take a stroll to welcome the New Year. The accommodation staff were available throughout the night, and even when we returned briefly to use the restroom, they greeted us kindly without any hesitation, which made us feel very comfortable. In our room, the assigned attendant provided attentive service (I highly recommend experiencing it yourself) and shared tips on how to enjoy Kyoto. Choosing this accommodation was truly a great decision for us. The only downsides were the hairdryer and dryness in the room. Although there was a humidifier provided, it couldn’t keep up as the heater worked hard due to the cold weather. A better-quality hairdryer would have been appreciated as well. Despite these minor issues, I would love to visit again! Thank you so much!

We used this accommodation for my son and his wife's first visit home after their wedding, as they wanted to go to Kyoto. Since we wanted separate bedrooms, we reserved a detached house. Although there were no reviews available and I was a bit anxious, it turned out to be excellent! It was a wonderful accommodation that combined an old-fashioned nostalgic feel with cozy rooms and well-equipped facilities. The underfloor heating in the Japanese-style room was fantastic and gave us some ideas for renovations. Unlike a hotel, there was a kitchen where our family could enjoy cooking and eating together—it was so much fun! The parking location was hard to find, which caused some confusion, but since it allowed free entry and exit even after checkout, it was very convenient for sightseeing. Next time, I’d love to stay in the main building too!

I was able to spend a luxurious time enjoying the view of the Kamo River from the stylish living room. The underfloor heating was also included, making it very comfortable. I also appreciated being able to adjust the lighting. At night, I dimmed the lights for a more relaxing atmosphere. The ambiance of the Japanese-Western style bedroom was nice, and I slept soundly. The owner kindly explained everything and had a wonderful personality. This time I stayed for only one night, but next time I would love to stay for a Multiple Night Stay!

The tablet check-in was unresponsive and a hassle. In the end, a staff member came out from the back to assist, but if so, wouldn’t it be better to do that from the start? Also, the bathtub is smaller than in the photos—more like a studio apartment. The location is good, with Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Kamo River nearby.

This was my first stay here. The Accommodation was very clean, and I had a comfortable time. I would like to stay again when I visit Kyoto. Thank you very much.

The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around. The view from the window was great, and spending time on the terrace was very pleasant. The Ryokan or Hotel in front didn’t bother us at all. Since it was a Multiple Night Stay, having a washing machine was incredibly helpful. The room was spacious, and amenities were replenished daily, making our stay comfortable. Having a bar on the first floor added a unique touch to the experience and made it interesting. We would love to stay here again in the future! Thank you very much!

We were very satisfied with the service, the Accommodation, and the location. It was a three-generation trip ranging from teenagers to people in their 70s, and everyone was able to stay comfortably. We would definitely like to visit again.

The location near Kiyomizu-Gojo Station was very convenient, and it was a big help that they could store our luggage on the day of arrival. The Ryokan staff and employees were also very friendly and welcoming, which made a great impression. Dinner was a light kaiseki course, but it was just right for women—luxurious and delicious—and we enjoyed it at a relaxed pace in a private room. We were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner at this price. We would love to stay again.

It was a property I visited because I decided to stay overnight as it would be late returning from watching a play at Minami-za. My mother was also tired and wanted to sleep early, so she fell asleep immediately. I also took a bath and fell asleep right away. I slept soundly until morning and felt refreshed. It was a very quiet and comfortable property to sleep in. The bath was also spacious and relaxing. It was a property I would like to stay at again.
