We arrived by car, parked at the Hotel, and walked five minutes to AEON to watch an evening movie and have dinner. The breakfast area was spacious and clean, with counter seats by the window (the view is only of the parking lot). The scrambled eggs were delicious. It was also great that we could watch YouTube as a guest. We will stay again.

Even though I arrived much later than the check-in time, the staff kindly accommodated me. I also enjoyed the wide variety of baths! Just one thing: many guests were barefoot inside the building, which I understand since it’s an Onsen, but if possible, it would be nice to have Japanese-style indoor footwear available (the disposable slippers in the Room were a bit small and hard to walk in), so those who want to wear them would have that option. Sorry for such a luxury request. I’m grateful to the kind front desk staff and to everyone on the team.

I was scheduled to give a lecture at the Uji Botanical Garden in June and stayed here at that time. Unfortunately, heavy rain led to the training being canceled, so I visited sightseeing spots such as Byodo-in Phoenix Hall before heading home. This time, I had another lecture at the Uji Botanical Garden. Since I had stayed here before and knew the amenities were well stocked, I didn’t bring any toiletries with me. Last time it rained, but this time the weather was clear. The day before, I visited Tofuku-ji Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine and arrived at the hotel in the evening. After stretching my legs and taking a break, I searched online for recommended dinner options nearby. I also knew there was a supermarket close by, so I bought bread and tea for lunch on my lecture day. Then, based on good reviews, I had dinner at a nearby restaurant that grills hokke over charcoal. The next morning, since I knew there was a convenience store near the station, I went there to buy breakfast. There is coffee available at the front desk, so I enjoyed a cup as well. When heading to my training session after checking out, they kindly stored my change of clothes and other items at the front desk upon request, which was very helpful. After the training session, I picked up my luggage from the hotel and returned home to Osaka from Keihan Uji Station. Twin room used as single occupancy. It would be nice if the hotel offered something like a breakfast buffet. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had a relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. We stayed as a family of four, and the location was great—less than a 10-minute walk from Byodo-in Temple, with views of the gently flowing river. The owner was friendly and pleasant. The bath is shared, but since there are only two groups, it didn’t seem to be an issue. Along the nearby approach road there are tea shops lined up, and there are a reasonable number of places to eat dinner in the area. Above all, the price is very affordable. There is no parking at the Accommodation, but there is a coin-operated parking lot right next door. Since it has a maximum daily rate, even if you park in the evening and leave it until the next morning while visiting Byodo-in Temple, it won’t reach 2,000 yen.

We stayed as a family of five, including three children! The Room has a toilet, shower room, and electric kettle. We stayed in a second-floor Room, and right after going down the stairs there was a shared kitchen with a microwave, toaster, rice cooker, and more. There was also a dispenser where we could easily get water, tea, and coffee. There is a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi is available too! If I had to ask for one thing, it would have been nice to have a TV.

We stayed as a family of three. Since it was just us, we could relax without worrying about others, and the bath was so spacious that even stretching out my legs left plenty of room—it really helped us unwind. Even with our luggage spread out, it didn’t feel cramped at all. Having a washer-dryer was also very helpful.

The phone service was excellent, so I looked forward to my stay. The front desk service was also good, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I went to the Genji no Yu bath.
