This is a quiet, relaxing Accommodation that feels like a hidden retreat. The bath in the Room is an Onsen, and I enjoyed it many times. All of the staff were very pleasant. The meals were teppanyaki dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, and everything was delicious. The chef’s special miso was also great, so I bought some. It seems every Room type is different, so next time I’d like to stay in a different Room.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

It was a wonderful Hotel that exuded classic history and elegance. Not only were the in-house Facilities excellent, but we were also truly impressed by the delicious cuisine and the breathtaking panoramic view over Toba Bay. Above all, the staff’s attentive care and warm hospitality were outstanding, allowing us to spend our entire stay in comfort and relaxation. At the club lounge, we enjoyed a leisurely time along with high-quality drinks and lounge-exclusive dishes. The cheesecake—so well known that people say “Toba International Hotel means cheesecake”—was indeed as delicious as its reputation suggests, adding a special touch to our stay. In addition, the “Pearl Aurora Bath” infused with pearl ingredients at Shiojitei on the grounds was exceptional; its shimmering water gently soothed away our travel fatigue. The food, location, bath, and service from the staff—everything made for a highly satisfying stay. This is a truly wonderful Hotel that we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

During our trip to Ise, we stayed at this Ryokan in Toba and had a truly wonderful time. From the warm welcome on arrival, the bus driver’s cheerful conversation helped us relax and made us feel comfortable from the very start of our journey. At the Ryokan, the Onsen was exceptional. I was so happy that my skin felt silky smooth that I ended up soaking six times—I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff also kindly gave us detailed advice for sightseeing the next day. They even considered train schedules, which helped us make the most of our limited time. Of course, we were completely satisfied with everything—the view from our Room and all of the meals. In every moment, we felt the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, and it was clear that they are consistently well trained. Finding a Ryokan that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again,” is one of my favorite memories from this trip. Thank you very much to all of the staff. When we visit Ise and Toba again, we would love to stay with you.

We enjoyed our meal in a semi-private dining area and ate to our heart’s content. There aren’t any convenience stores nearby, but there was a small convenience store and a souvenir shop inside the hotel! The open-air bath in the room was amazing, especially when soaking while watching the sunrise. I’d love to come again.

This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The in-room bath and open-air bath were wonderful and felt amazing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was full and satisfied—it was delicious. I’d love to visit again.

I have stayed here about four times already, and I leave completely satisfied every time. I love everything—the Bali atmosphere, the meals, the free drinks, the late-night green curry, the spa treatments, the hot stone sauna, and that the Hotel has a moderate number of Rooms so it never feels overcrowded. It’s so comfortable that I arrive right at check-in time and relax from there. This time my daughter twisted her ankle on the way to the Hotel before we arrived, and when I spoke with someone at the front desk, they kindly brought us a cold compress. It was a huge help. We will visit again next year. Thank you very much.

I travel to Ise-Shima at least once a year. Each time, I look for an Accommodation with a private open-air Onsen bath in the Room. This stay at Haifu was truly wonderful—one of the best I’ve experienced. This time, we stayed in a special suite. First of all, taking a boat to reach the Accommodation really heightened the sense of being on a trip, and I couldn’t stop feeling excited. The Accommodation was beautiful and kept very clean, and the staff were excellent. The Room had an open-air bath with an ocean view. There is also frosted sliding glass that can be used as a privacy screen from outside. Soaking in the Onsen while watching the full moon and stars and listening to the sound of the sea was incredible. We were also able to enjoy our meals slowly in a private dining room. Both the taste and presentation were top-class. Haifu is an Accommodation you’ll definitely want to return to. I hope to stay again soon, and I look forward to visiting again then.

I stayed for one night on March 29. I chose March because it was just before the spiny lobster fishing ban. This time I booked a luxurious spa Plan, so it was pricey, but it was absolutely worth the cost. The cuisine, spa, Onsen, Room Facilities, and service were all top-tier. As expected from HIRAMATSU, every dish was delicious. The dish made with the spiny lobster head felt a bit heavy for me, but everything else was perfect. The spiny lobster bisque at breakfast was outstanding. The bread and butter at both dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The spa was wonderful—comparable to the Mandarin Hotel’s spa. The Onsen and Room Facilities were also superb; there is nothing to complain about. Service from the manager, head chef, staff, and spa team was flawless. I’d like to return next year during abalone season. I recommend avoiding weekends at the end of March. That’s when F1 Japanese Grand Prix qualifying and the race are held at Suzuka, so Nagoya Station gets extremely crowded and nearby roads are heavily congested. On top of that, Ise Jingu Naiku Shrine was also packed due to a yokozuna dedication sumo event—but I consider it a good experience overall.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed a very filling meal—simply the best! We were really looking forward to the baths; it was raining on the first day so we couldn’t use the open-air bath, but the rain stopped the next morning and we were able to go in. The view was amazing! If I had to say one thing, I would have preferred the bath temperature a little lower—it felt quite hot. Still, we’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here on a couples’ trip. The welcome pizza was incredibly delicious, and even though we asked for seconds many times, the staff kindly baked fresh pizzas for us each time with a smile. Thank you very much. Perhaps because there were many families with children, our bathing times didn’t overlap, so even though we used the bath several times, we never shared it with anyone and were able to relax as if it were private. This was my fault, but the pizza was so good that I ate too much and ended up leaving some of my dinner, which I felt sorry about. I thought it would be nice to have an option with a smaller dinner portion. The dessert contained peaches, and when I declined due to my allergy, they offered to prepare an assortment of seasonal fruits instead. Since I’m allergic to fruit in general, I had to decline as well, but I truly appreciated their thoughtful consideration. Breakfast was also very delicious and satisfying. We would definitely like to stay again.

The food was delicious, the free drinks were great, and we could watch the fireworks right in front of us—it was amazing. Thank you very much. If we have another opportunity, we would definitely like to stay again.

Even though we made a last-minute Reservation and asked for several special requests, you kindly accommodated us, and all the staff were incredibly helpful—we were truly impressed. The Room had a panoramic ocean view, and it was wonderful to see both the full moon and the sunrise. The Onsen was excellent as well; our children loved it and went in three times. The meals were delicious with generous portions, and we were very satisfied. The lounge has been beautifully renovated, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The summer vacation–only pool and fireworks delighted our kids, and it was just a short walk from the Accommodation to the beach, making it easy to go back and forth between the pool and the sea. Because they had such a great time, our children said they definitely want to come again next year. Thank you very much for everything—we look forward to staying with you again.

We had an amazing trip—played to our heart’s content in the pool, enjoyed all three types of baths, and left completely satisfied after a hearty buffet meal! We stayed as three generations of family. The kids’ room had a variety of board games and a ball pit, and we also enjoyed complimentary drinks in the lobby—everything was taken care of. We highly recommend it. The staff were courteous and attentive, and we’re truly grateful.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Thank you very much for your thoughtful consideration regarding the room upgrade! We had high expectations since it had just been renovated, and it absolutely lived up to them. The entire property was clean, stylish, and comfortable. We also loved that the floors are tatami throughout, so you can walk around without slippers or shoes—it’s so easy and feels great. Both the large public bath and the open-air-style bath in our room were wonderful. Soaking while looking out at the greenery was incredibly relaxing. The welcome drinks and post-bath ice cream were a nice touch as well—this kind of hospitality is exactly what we love about Kyoritsu Resort properties. Since we were tired from walking so much, we really appreciated having a Nespresso machine in the room so we could enjoy a good coffee at our own pace. Every staff member was polite and pleasant, which made our stay truly enjoyable. When we asked how to get to places we wanted to visit, they gave us a map and explained everything while marking it with a red pen, so we didn’t get lost at all. When we asked about the stone steps location, they even guided us there in person—we were very grateful for such attentive service. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent; every dish was delicious. I’m sorry I couldn’t finish everything because I don’t eat much. Our server was especially cheerful and courteous—the most memorable part of our stay. When I said I was too full to continue, they kindly suggested that even just one bite would be enough but encouraged me to try something from Ise. I feel bad that I still left some behind after only a bite, but it was delicious and became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much. We chose this inn because we wanted to visit early in the morning, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to Naiku (the Inner Shrine). The early-morning visit felt refreshing and serene—choosing this inn was definitely the right decision for that reason as well. Just two small points for future improvement: There wasn’t a clock in the room, so we had to check the time on our phones. It would have been nice to have a clock for quick reference. Our dinner time slot was 8:00 PM (the later seating), so we planned to bathe beforehand. After bathing I wanted to wear yukata but wasn’t sure if yukata were allowed in the dining area, so I changed into regular clothes—however many guests were wearing yukata. It would be helpful if guests could be told at check-in that yukata are acceptable. Overall, this was an extremely satisfying stay! If we come back to visit Ise again, we would love to stay here again. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.

I stayed here with my mother and nephew on a trip for three. We were able to relax in a separate Room, and we could also borrow colorful yukata. This trip was to help cheer up my mother before she begins medical treatment, so it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was gently seasoned, and it seemed my mother was able to enjoy plenty of it as well. At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Donguri Captain”—please allow me to share a few ideas with heartfelt appreciation: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge is truly special. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more memorable experience. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic and welcoming game arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where both adults and children—across generations—could have an amazing time together! 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer. Having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests throughout the year and generate even more buzz—I’m confident it would be a great success. Of course, I fully understand that your staff’s working environment and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you might keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of “how wonderful it would be if this became possible.” With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your entire team—I truly believe you will continue to be the region’s undisputed number-one Hotel.
