The Hotel itself is a very old building. The large public bath was relaxing. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious. I was completely full. There are many places to eat dinner nearby, so it wasn’t a problem. The convenience store is a bit far, but you can rent a bicycle, which is convenient. Only the Room toilet had an issue: for some reason, a urine smell lingered after using it. It was tolerable, though. I would like to stay again. Thank you.

I have stayed here many times when returning to Gifu. Sometimes I book a Multiple Night Stay, and it is always comfortable. There are restaurants nearby, which is convenient. This time, since it was a Multiple Night Stay, thank you for responding quickly to my last-minute request. I will let you know in advance next time. I would like to continue staying here in the future.

I stayed at Antiques Gifu Station East for three nights. The room felt very new and clean, and it was extremely comfortable. There were three of us in my family, and each of us could sleep in a separate private room, so we slept soundly. If you have similar needs, I highly recommend staying at Antiques Gifu Station East.

We stayed in the detached Accommodation. When we called in advance to confirm, we were told it would be possible to add one more set of futons in addition to the 7 people on our online Reservation, so we stayed with 8 guests. Even with 8 people, it was spacious enough, and we had a very comfortable stay. There were notes indicating areas that still use items from the former Ito Ryokan, and there were small decorative touches on the walls like kumiko-style woodwork—overall, the interior was more stylish and beautiful than we expected. It’s only a short walk to the main building, but there is also a Shuttle Service, which we really appreciated. The meals were delicious, and drink orders and other requests were handled promptly and efficiently, which left a great impression. The large public bath and open-air bath in the main building were both wonderful on both the first and second floors—each had its own charm—and we enjoyed using both at night and again in the morning. After letting them know in advance that we would be traveling with an infant, they prepared a diaper trash bin and baby soap in our Room. Our three-generation family had a truly pleasant stay. I was able to stay comfortably again this year. It was disappointing that, for some reason, I couldn’t watch YouTube and the amenities didn’t arrive. However, when I checked in and entered the Room, it was cool inside, and I really appreciated your thoughtful consideration. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again next year.

On May 17, I stayed at the culinary Ryokan Ueto. That day, I was lucky enough to have the place entirely to myself, and I’m truly grateful. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the proprietress and immediately felt it was a calm, lovely place. Unlike a Hotel, there is no elevator, so I carried my luggage up to my Room on the third floor. It’s a small but comfortable Room. The bath was also private—having the entire Ryokan reserved felt incredibly lucky. The water is on the hot side, but it was very relaxing, and then came dinner. Dinner was a full-course tofu meal. Dish after dish arrived; everything was delicious, and I ended up eating too much until I was completely full. (There is more than enough food to finish.) A peaceful day passed, and after enjoying breakfast, I found this Ryokan wonderfully homey. It was an overnight stay filled with thoughtful hospitality that I deeply appreciated. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Culinary Ryokan Ueto—thank you very much for taking such good care of me. Thank you.

This is my third stay at an AB Hotel in different locations. Everything is provided to a reasonable extent in each area. I will consider staying again at one of their properties.

I stayed for one night while sightseeing. What I liked... The large public baths for men and women were well cleaned, and the changing area and amenities were easy to use. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety for a free service, and the staff member serving it was very pleasant, so I could enjoy my meal in the morning. It would have been even better if there had been yogurt and fruit. It’s very close to Tamamiya-dori, a lively nightlife area, so I enjoyed going out for drinks. There is also a FamilyMart right next door. With the reasonable price, great location, and solid services, it was a very satisfying stay. Not exactly a complaint, but there is no on-site parking; you need to use an affiliated parking lot that is a bit far away. Since it was extremely hot that day, carrying luggage back and forth was tough.

As both check-in and check-out are contactless, service is not rated. There is only a vending machine for drinks, so it’s best to buy any food you may need before checking in. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk. Parking is available at a paid coin-operated parking lot.

Both the entire Hotel and the Room are clean, and the amenities are more than sufficient. It’s conveniently located near the station, so I’ve stayed here many times. This time I stayed despite a rainy forecast, and when I asked the female front desk staff member—just in case—whether I could borrow an umbrella, she kindly lent me one with a 120-point smile; she felt like an angel. I didn’t use the bath (large public bath), so I left it at the standard three stars. I look forward to staying again.

The best points were that there were five parking spaces right in front of the Hotel available for 700 yen per day, it was close to the station, and the Room was spacious. A few disappointing points were that there was no power outlet by the pillow, there was no bidet toilet seat, and I would have liked coffee (green tea was provided). Overall, it is an older Hotel, but it felt clean and I could stay at a reasonable price, so I had a good impression.

About a 5-minute walk from JR Gifu Station, the location is very convenient. However, there is an area that looks like a huge abandoned district along the route between the station and the Hotel, which gave me pause for a moment (lol). It is said to be the remains of a textile wholesale district that flourished from the postwar period through Japan’s high-growth era. If you take a closer look, it has an old-time charm, and it may be an appealing spot for those who enjoy Showa-retro vibes. Once I arrived at the Hotel, the atmosphere changed completely—bright and refined. The Room was typical of a standard city Hotel, well cleaned, and I was able to stay comfortably without any particular inconvenience. There is a coffee machine in the first-floor lobby, so being able to enjoy regular coffee without going to a convenience store is a thoughtful touch. It takes a bit of practice to use it, so if you’re unsure, ask the staff. (I had seen the same type at another property before so I knew how to use it, but it might be tricky if it’s your first time.) What really stands out about this Hotel is how lavish breakfast is. They offer a wide variety of local specialties—Gifu Hatsushimo rice; Hida nameko mushroom soup; mini Takayama ramen; boiled dumplings with Meihou ham; Hida beef croquettes; Ogaki mizu-manju; gohei-mochi; and more—making for an especially enjoyable start to the day. With many Hotels of similar size and price range around the station area, I think it’s wonderful that they differentiate themselves in this way. I’d love to stay again if I have another chance.

My children had a match in Gifu City, so we arrived the day before and stayed at this Hotel. We were able to stay at a great price thanks to a time sale. Great value Hotel! The female staff member was also very lovely, and her polite service and thoughtful care were much appreciated. The bath was the in-Room bath with a deep-style tub; when you turn on the hot water, it comes out extremely hot! You’ll need to adjust it carefully with cold water—please be careful. The amenities were well stocked, but please bring your own phone charging cable. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit weak, but overall it was a fulfilling and great-value one-night stay.

I often stay here because it’s close to the station and convenient when going out for drinks. It’s reassuring that staff are available at reception even late at night. Thank you very much.

The Room is small, but it feels like a stylish design Hotel and was comfortable to stay in. On the first floor, you can rent a wide range of amenities in the rental room—from shampoo, cleansing oil, and face wash to a hair iron and even chopsticks—which was very helpful. Free coffee is also available. The in-room hair dryer was a SALONIA model, so my hair dried quickly, which was another plus. It’s close to the station, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Highly recommended.

It was comfortable. The laundry facilities are also separated, so it’s less likely to get crowded.\nI’d like to stay again.

The facility is clean, and the Room cleaning is thorough, making it a very pleasant Hotel. I had a restful sleep without being disturbed by surrounding noise. The breakfast offers a variety of options and was satisfying. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

I extended my trip to Ichinomiya because I couldn't book a hotel near Nagoya Station due to high prices. Since it's about 10 minutes from Nagoya, I didn't feel it was inconvenient, and you can see the Hotel from the station, so there's no chance of getting lost. However, I noticed that there were cracks under the sink and a smell from the drain, which made me think it's quite an old building.
