We stayed in the log cabin. It is fairly old and a bit wobbly in places. Because it was the season (hot and humid), there were quite a few insects, but insect spray was provided, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The futons were very comfortable, and our whole family slept soundly. (I was woken up before 5 a.m. by a loud chorus of cicadas.) In addition to the Onsen, we were able to fully enjoy the great outdoors and truly relax. When you contacted us about our forgotten item, I was traveling and couldn’t hear well, so I feel I may not have responded properly. I’m very sorry. I asked for it to be sent cash on delivery, but you kindly sent it prepaid instead—I’m sorry for the trouble you went to as well as for that. Breakfast was more than enough, and the simmered dishes were truly delicious! Thank you very much for everything. We would love to stay again.

Everyone who assisted us was pleasant and helpful, allowing us to enjoy a calm and relaxing stay.

The Onsen water quality was excellent. Since it was a very affordable Plan, I honestly didn’t expect much from breakfast, but it was delicious and satisfying—a well-balanced meal served in small portions. I will definitely stay again.

I chose this place for the first time because of the price and convenience. To be honest, I wasn’t completely sure about my Reservation at first, but everything went smoothly. It was just as good as major Hotel chains—if anything, it felt even more comfortable. The Room had no issues at all. The Facility and amenities were well provided. The bathroom was a standard unit bath, and the bed was spacious enough with good cushioning. The only thing I felt was missing was a USB port. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again.

This Accommodation left a strong impression with its attentive hospitality and warm smiles, and the meals were truly delicious. The tasty, well-balanced dishes were a delight at both dinner and breakfast. If I have the chance to visit Kirishima Onsen again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The meals were absolutely delicious! This is an accommodation I would love to visit again.

I stayed on Friday, July 11. That day, due to the eruption of Shinmoedake and news reports saying that Kirishima City was experiencing a water outage, many Reservations at Ryokans and Hotels in Kirishima City were reportedly canceled. However, in reality there was no impact at all, so I felt the reporting was overly alarmist—this is exactly reputational damage caused by rumors. Kirishima Hanamurasaki offers a very comfortable Onsen, and the food is absolutely delicious. In addition, the hospitality is outstanding. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Although it was described as a “Ramune Onsen,” I couldn’t really tell, as I didn’t notice any bubbles sticking to my skin. However, it was free-flowing from the source and had a spacious open-air bath, which was great. That said, it was disappointing that the open-air bath was being cleaned during the morning bathing hours and wasn’t available. The Room was a prefab unit and had a slight musty smell that bothered me. Also, there were no pajamas provided, so you need to bring your own.

I stayed here as an overnight stop on a motorcycle tour to Ibusuki. As soon as I arrived, the proprietress guided me to a covered parking area, so I didn’t have to worry about wiping down my bike in the morning after it got wet with dew, which was a relief. The room was clean and had a calm atmosphere. The large public bath was excellent—an old hinoki cypress tub with plenty of hot water and just the right temperature. Even the changing area had cedar paneling on the lower walls (I think), and the pleasant scent of wood made it very relaxing. I should have checked in around 3 p.m. at least to fully enjoy the hot spring. This is an inn I’d love to stay at again.

The Accommodation was very clean and well maintained. One thing I wished it had was a chair. I’m used to working while seated in a regular chair, so I wanted somewhere to sit and work. Sitting on a floor chair felt a bit unsettled. Breakfast was very luxurious and delicious.
