There is an Onsen with an open-air bath on the top floor of a high-rise building right next to Oita Station, offering a panoramic view of the city. Breakfast was delicious, and the buffet with a boxed set allowed me to choose my portion size while enjoying locally sourced ingredients and regional dishes. The Room size was average, but it was clean and well maintained. This time I traveled solo, but next time I’d like to come with my family.

This was my first stay at Dormy Inn, inspired by the thoroughly well-designed service system I experienced this summer when staying at La Vista Kirishima, part of Kyoritsu Resort Group. I arrived too early and had important luggage, so I couldn’t leave; it was very kind of the staff to tell me about their early check-in option (1,000 yen). Rather than the enveloping sense of happiness you might get at a luxury city Hotel, I felt their Facilities and service system—meticulously designed for reliability, convenience, efficiency, and safety—were truly impressive. It is a remarkably attentive Hotel.

Thank you for always providing a very clean and well-prepared Room.

I stayed here as a business hotel guest, but the hot spring facilities were better than expected and I was very satisfied. The amenities and in-room equipment were well provided, making my stay comfortable. Also, since the dining area that serves the breakfast buffet operates as an izakaya at night, I personally enjoyed the flavors and found everything delicious. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Breakfast: A delicious buffet featuring local specialties.
