Whenever I arrive at Matsuyama Airport, I stay here. It’s close to the station and reasonably priced, so I’m very satisfied. I will stay here again next time. I noticed this last time as well, but it seems the older staff at the front desk and in the dining area have retired—I was looking forward to seeing them.

The Onsen and meals were excellent.

If I have the chance to visit Matsuyama again, I’d love to stay here again. Next time, I’d like to check in earlier and also request dinner.

Conveniently located near the station, with easy access to the downtown area on foot or by train. It is not a brand-new Hotel, but the Room was spacious and well kept and clean. We stayed in a twin Room, and the beds were large. The parking lot was near the Hotel, and discount vouchers were available.

I stayed for two nights and tried both the Matsuyama rice porridge and the sea bream broth ochazuke—both were outstanding! I can’t wait to have them again. Next time I’m staying for three nights, and I’m torn about which one to order twice.

Thank you for your prompt and courteous assistance with our last-minute Saturday Reservation. The Facility was clean and well maintained, and everything we needed was provided. We look forward to staying again.

Our family of four stayed in two Twin Rooms. The front desk staff were very courteous, and the Room and beds were spacious. We were also very satisfied with the covered parking, same-day luggage storage, and dinner service with app registration. Breakfast was also delicious! We would definitely stay again!

Everything—from the room and the large public bath to the meals—felt perfectly “just right,” and it was truly comfortable. The room isn’t very large, but it has a big, very comfortable bed. The public bath isn’t a hot spring and is on the smaller side, but there is also an open-air bath where you can see the sky, and taking a morning bath under the blue sky was amazing. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with Ehime specialties such as sea bream chazuke (choose your toppings and pour sea bream broth over rice) and mandarin vinegar juice—very satisfying overall. Above all, they responded quickly and courteously to my questions by email before my stay, which made me feel very reassured. This is a hotel I would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed here while visiting to celebrate our second son’s wife’s birthday. The location was convenient, with easy access and close to where we had dinner. Best of all was the breakfast buffet—especially the sea bream rice. Matsuyama Castle is also nearby, making it a great area for running. We would love to stay again next time.

Everything exceeded the price. The ochazuke served from 9:00 PM was very delicious, and I was also satisfied with the morning buffet. The staff were very helpful, and there was nothing negative. The only disappointing point was that although we came to Matsuyama (Dogo Onsen), the Hotel did not have a large public bath.

The room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities we needed. Above all, it was very close to Matsuyama Airport, which made it extremely convenient. The three of us stayed here and were all very satisfied. We would definitely like to stay here again the next time we visit Matsuyama. Thank you very much.

The entire floor is available for rent, and there are a total of 2 floors. The Room includes 4 double beds, multiple toilets, shower rooms, and sinks. There was also a refrigerator the size of a household fridge in the Room. A microwave was installed in the shared area on the first floor. Although there were no staff members on-site, any questions were kindly addressed over the phone. For someone like me who doesn't expect much from Hotel stays, it felt like a suite-class experience. I would love to use it again in the future.

The beautifully renovated traditional house provided a clean and comfortable space for a pleasant stay. Even with small children running around or being loud, it was stress-free as it did not disturb the neighbors. Although meals were not included, the proximity to supermarkets, Onsen, and various commercial facilities within walking distance was very convenient. The thoughtful hospitality with snacks and drinks was heartwarming and impressive. If I have the chance to visit Dogo Onsen again, I would definitely choose this Facility!

From the outside, it looked like an ordinary hotel with nothing particularly unusual. However, the room seemed to have been renovated and was very clean and modern. The bathroom was a unit bath, but the tub was large enough to almost lie down in, which I was very satisfied with. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the fried fish cake (jako-ten) and grilled salted mackerel were especially good. It was also conveniently located very close to the JR station.

I stayed one night in a single Room before attending an event. It’s a retro Showa-era Business Hotel, and having a staffed front desk was especially reassuring. The Room was small, but it was more than sufficient for No Meals Included. The location is convenient, and I’m satisfied to have been able to stay at this price.

During our stay, the bath in the Room was kept hot the whole time—almost too much to waste. The Room and bedding were clean, which was great. We also used the large public bath, and it wasn’t crowded, which was perfect. However, the jacuzzi and jet baths seemed to be out of order, so we could only use one out of three. It was a bit disappointing that there was only rinse-in shampoo and no face wash or cleansing products, but I guess it can’t be helped. We chose the Western-style breakfast; it felt homemade and was delicious, and the orange juice was also very good. I would like to stay again.

I originally planned to visit Dogo Onsen Honkan again for my first trip back to Matsuyama in three years, but every Accommodation around Dogo Onsen was fully booked due to Silver Week. Since I was worried about parking my motorcycle somewhere unfamiliar, I decided to give up this time and chose this newer-looking place instead... and it turned out to be a huge win. The bath is spacious, and there’s even a sauna and a cold plunge pool. The last time I went to Dogo Onsen Honkan three years ago, it felt more like a place to enjoy the atmosphere than anything special about the water itself... So this time, “personally,” I’m calling this place my Dogo Onsen Honkan! (Honestly, I’d give it 6 stars if I could.) I’m not particularly interested in the Dogo Onsen area itself, so when I’m not going to Dogo Onsen Honkan, this will probably become my regular go-to Accommodation.

Due to the rain, I called as I wanted to arrive early and received a polite response: [You cannot enter the Room until 4 PM, but you can leave your car and luggage with us.] Thank you for accommodating us without any hesitation.

We stayed for 2 nights as a family of five. The place was very clean and comfortable. Laundry facilities were available, and we could hang clothes in the bathroom with a drying function included. There were few hangers, so bringing extra ones might be convenient for families. Detergent for two loads was provided. Each bed had its own power outlet, which was very convenient. The location is close to the shopping street, with plenty of dining options nearby and within walking distance to Matsuyama Castle—a very convenient spot!

We used this place because we were looking for somewhere our family of four could stay in the same Room. Even though it was during the Silver Week holiday period, it was reasonably priced, which was great. If you look closely, there are some parts that feel a bit old, but at first glance it felt new and clean, and I was satisfied. It was also nice that a convenience store and a coin laundry were nearby. However, I later noticed there is also laundry inside the Hotel. One note—others have mentioned this as well: since the area nearby is an adult entertainment district, I recommend avoiding walking directly down the side streets from the Okaido arcade side, especially at night. If you walk along the main road there’s no problem at all, so I suggest taking the main road even if it means a slight detour when coming and going.
