We stayed in an 8-tatami Japanese-style room, and it was very clean. The view from the window felt open and spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. The baths were also excellent, with many different jacuzzi-style tubs to enjoy. Both the front desk staff and the shop staff were kind and supportive, which made us very happy and left us with wonderful travel memories. While waiting for the bus, we adjusted our schedule by having some self-serve coffee, and the spacious lobby filled with bright natural light was fantastic. Since this is near my late mother’s family home, my husband and I have been talking about coming back again in spring. Overall, we really loved the calm atmosphere of the area.

The service was very attentive, the Room was clean, and the meals offered a great variety.

After checking out, the hotel contacted me and I wondered what was going on. When I called back, they told me I had left my car keys with my house key attached. I hadn’t noticed at all. Since I was visiting from out of town, if I had gone straight home without them, I would have been in serious trouble. Thank you so much to the front desk staff. The room itself was very comfortable as well. I’ll definitely stay here again.

I stayed here on a touring trip. The covered parking was greatly appreciated as a motorcyclist. Although the building is old, the large public bath felt clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous and made a very good impression. I would like to stay here again.

On short notice, we decided to travel right in the middle of Silver Week and looked for Accommodation near our destination, but nothing was available. Although it was a smoking Room, a Room opened up at this Hotel, so we made a Reservation without hesitation. Since the Hotel does not offer an Onsen or dinner, we used a nearby day-use Onsen and had dinner out before heading to the Hotel. We were told we would need to lay out the futon ourselves, but the covers were already set on the bedding, so it was easy to prepare for sleep. Breakfast was Japanese-style. If you prefer a light breakfast in the morning, I think it is more than sufficient. You can adjust the amount yourself with rice and miso soup. Because breakfast hours are short, I expected it might be crowded, but perhaps because we went near the end of service there were only two other groups, so we could eat at a relaxed pace. These days many Hotels charge around 3,500 yen for breakfast and offer crowded buffet-style dining, so I felt this Hotel is very reasonably priced. At night, the parking lot in front of the Hotel was full, but we hardly saw anyone inside. Also, after 9:30 there were no cars left in the lot anymore, which made me think most guests depart early. Although it wasn’t part of our original itinerary, I became interested in a poster displayed in the dining area and went to see one of “100-Year Art” terraced rice fields. The vast natural scenery was impressive. Thank you for all your help during our stay.

I stayed here again after last year, and the staff were just as courteous as ever. The facilities feel a bit dated, but everything is well cleaned. For breakfast you can choose Japanese or Western, and for some reason they also have curry with free refills—so I always end up eating too much. There are several supermarkets, drugstores, and major restaurant chains nearby, which is very convenient. I plan to stay again next year.
