It was good value for the price. I would like towels to be available in the large public bath.

When visiting Shimane, I was looking for an affordable Accommodation with breakfast included, so I stayed here. In the end, it was a very satisfying stay that made me wonder how they can offer it at this price. The exterior looks a bit old, but the inside has been nicely renovated, and the curved hallway had a great atmosphere. The Facility is somewhat dated as well, but everything is well maintained and clean. The alcohol vending machine on the first floor was a nice touch. The prices are very reasonable. The Simmons bed really was comfortable, and the choice of pillows was both fun and practical. All staff members, including international staff, were pleasant and responded efficiently. Breakfast buffet items were also replenished frequently. There was information about discounted access to a nearby affiliated bath facility, but since it was raining outside, I just used the shower in my Room. I wasn’t traveling for an Onsen trip in the first place, so personally I appreciate being able to stay at this price even without a large public bath. As other Reviews mention, the dashi ochazuke at breakfast was delicious. Toppings like kombu and pickled plum were available so I could customize it to my liking. The other dishes were typical of what you often find at a Business Hotel—sausages, scrambled eggs, small salted grilled mackerel, etc. It’s not flashy, but considering this room rate includes breakfast as well, I felt it offered excellent value. I’ll definitely stay again!

I stayed at this Hotel for a business trip to Masuda City because it was close to the station. Just as in the photos, the interior was wonderful (both the shared areas and my Room). The large public bath was also clean and very pleasant to use. What I especially liked was the samue loungewear provided in the Room. The fabric felt great on my skin and it was very comfortable to wear (I later bought one online). Breakfast was also delicious. I would like to stay here again.

Less than a 10-minute drive from central Masuda, yet a peaceful rural view spreads out beyond the windows. This is a small Accommodation run by a friendly owner and kind hostesses, and because they also welcome day-use bathing, it’s lively with locals. Dinner every Wednesday is curry. Some people might think, “Curry…?” but it was truly restaurant-quality. It has just a mild kick afterward, so even children can enjoy it—simply delicious. A medium bottle is JPY 600, which is very reasonable, and we were also told guests are free to bring their own drinks. The bath was larger than expected, and depending on the time of day it felt almost private, so we could relax deeply. The milky open-air bath is heated water with bath additives added, but surrounded by the scent of field burning and birdsong, it felt like a blissful space. Best of all at night was the chorus of frogs. Sitting on the veranda and letting their calls soothe us, we noticed faint lights drifting outside—fireflies. It was still early in the season so we only saw a few, but it was an unexpected surprise that delighted us as a couple. Breakfast also came with unlimited rice refills—we were full and completely satisfied. As an old wooden Accommodation, sound naturally carries. You can tell everyone understands this and uses the place considerately. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind with an open mind at an unhurried pace. Thank you very much.

I chose this Hotel for its spacious parking lot and convenient location near the station. After arriving, I realized I had stayed here before. The building was old, but it was kept clean. When I entered the Room, the air conditioning was on and comfortable, and I appreciated that the refrigerator was already cold. Between the twin beds there was a convenient switch to turn the Room lights on and off. Breakfast was great too—the curry was delicious. I would definitely like to stay again.

The moment you enter the Room, a pleasant fragrance greets you, and the space is impeccably clean, creating a very comfortable environment from the first impression. The view from the large windows was stunning even on a rainy day, making it easy to forget everyday life. It left us wondering how amazing it would be on a sunny day, giving us something to look forward to for future visits. The shampoo in the bathroom had a lovely scent and was popular with the kids as well. Additionally, there were plenty of power outlets throughout the Room, combining high design aesthetics with convenience. One thing to note is about using the projector and Bluetooth speaker available in the Room. While instructions are provided, they might be challenging for those not familiar with such devices. Also, if you log into YouTube during your stay, it does not automatically log out upon checkout—so this requires attention before leaving.
