The Room and beds were flawless. The meals were also more than sufficient for us as an older couple with smaller appetites—we even wondered, “Is this really a lighter portion?” Everything was delicious. Not only was dinner served in our Room, but we were also able to have breakfast in a private dining room, so we could enjoy it at our own pace. When the season changes, we would love to stay again and look forward to the seasonal menu changes.

I was looking for a highly rated Onsen Ryokan to stay at in Okayama, so I chose this one. It was a great choice. The meals were exactly as described—quality over quantity—and the portions were perfect for older guests. It’s also an all-inclusive property, so I enjoyed a variety of drinks and snacks; the doburoku in particular was excellent. I don’t recall drinking it much before, but it went down smoothly, and next time I think I’ll stick with doburoku after my beer. I’m glad I stayed here.

We stayed on the Anniversary Plan to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Thank you for arranging a bouquet centered on red roses as we requested. The check-in service was excellent, and we were able to relax with a welcome drink in the lounge while looking out at the garden. Dinner was the standard course, but it was delicious and very filling. The staff kindly explained each dish in detail, which we really appreciated. The timing of the surprise cake and bouquet was perfect. They also took many photos for us, and we are truly grateful for the staff’s warm and thoughtful hospitality. After dinner, borrowing lanterns for a stroll around the garden was wonderful. We were also invited to join a bingo game at short notice; unfortunately, both my wife and I only got as far as “one away.” Since it’s an inn away from town, we expected to have plenty of idle time and just take it easy, but in a good way our expectations were pleasantly exceeded. With themed dining concepts and events, it offered great value for money and was a very welcoming, comfortable place to stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night during the Obon holiday period. The front desk staff warmly welcomed us. The Room felt very new and was impeccably clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. It was great to have both yukata and pajamas available. They also quickly exchanged the yukata size for us, which was very helpful. We headed to the bath right away. The large public bath was very clean, and we loved that the shower kept running without having to press the button repeatedly! Bathing while looking at the castle was wonderful. The hair dryers in the changing area were ReFa. The muscat vinegar drink in the post-bath lounge was so delicious that even our children—who usually find fruit vinegar drinks too sour—went back for seconds. Since our Room included lounge access, we used the massage chair there, enjoyed some drinks, and felt refreshed. Also, the bed in our Room was incredibly comfortable—I may have slept better than I ever have while traveling. I think it’s a great fit for those who like pillows that are fluffy, soft, and low-profile. The next morning we had breakfast at Mimasaka Kitchen. We already knew it had a good reputation, but it exceeded our expectations—the lightly seasoned side dishes and wide variety of desserts that weren’t overly sweet were more than satisfying. Even better were the onigiri made by one of the staff members—perfectly light and fluffy—and our whole family couldn’t stop praising them. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us during our stay.

My one-year-old son and I stayed for three nights. The staff were very kind—thank you so much for bringing a chair at breakfast and clearing our tray. We had a wonderful stay. When my son fell, you promptly brought ice and a bandage. There is also a large public bath on the first floor, and the Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, so we slept well. We would love to stay again.

The meals were delicious! Both the meat and vegetables were cooked really well, and it was great that everyone could eat until they were satisfied. The Onsen town itself felt a bit quiet and there wasn’t much to walk around and explore, but the Hotel was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We also enjoyed both baths, including at Yunogo Grand Hotel. The Room was spacious enough even for three people.

Within walking distance of the fireworks festival venue. Until the fireworks started, we relaxed and took a leisurely nap in our ice-cold, air-conditioned Room. After the fireworks, it was great to rinse off in the large public bath—an amazing trip overall. Free parking was also incredibly appreciated.

I usually stay at a Business Hotel, but this container Hotel was excellent. Above all, it was so quiet! There was no noise from the next room—no loud voices, no TV sounds, and no banging on the walls at all. The Room was clean, too! The refrigerator had double doors and could freeze water properly. The frozen meals were also delicious!! The convenience store was a bit far, but I walked there as a nice stroll. In any case, it was comfortable and quiet, and I’m glad I could relax! I considered staying at my parents’ home while my mother was in the hospital, but it was too far from the hospital, so I looked for a good place nearby. The Reviews were positive, so I decided to stay here. This Hotel is also where my cousin held her wedding, so I’ve known it for a long time, but since it’s local to me I’d never had a reason to stay before. This was my first time staying here as I now live outside the prefecture, and it really was a great Hotel just as the Reviews said. Everything was very clean, and the bath was spacious and nice. All of the staff were polite and wonderful. The parking lot was also large and convenient. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. If anything, the only minor issue was that the washbasin area felt a bit small.

This was a family trip with friends, mainly for the buffet. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and were very delicious, but it was disappointing that some items we wanted to eat hot, like fried foods, had cooled down. The bath area may have been during a busy time; there weren’t many washing stations, so it felt crowded. The Room was 10 tatami mats, but once three futons were laid out it did feel a bit small. However, since we came for the buffet and only needed the Room for sleeping, it didn’t bother us much. There was a welcome drink service, so we could relax with tea after arriving until dinner. We would definitely like to come again for the buffet.

Although we stayed on a discounted Plan due to minor issues, the Room was spacious and very comfortable. It almost felt too large for two people. When we asked in advance for dinner recommendations, many places were closed after the holiday, so the staff kindly checked which restaurants were open and even called us back. At check-in, they also carefully explained how to get there. We were truly surprised and moved by such warm hospitality. The izakaya they recommended gave us a wonderful evening—delicious food from the kind owner and friendly regulars made it unforgettable. Thank you for your excellent service. We will definitely stay again!

Thank you for accommodating us on a suddenly planned short trip. I had seen Reviews saying the Facility was old and run-down, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but perhaps we happened to get an unlucky room—the floor creaked loudly. It didn’t feel like it would give way, but my wife said it was scary. Since I work in construction, if only I’d had my tools... I think it also depends on the accommodation Plan, but since we can’t eat a lot, we chose the standard meal option. They also adjusted the menu after discussing allergies with us, and everything was delicious. I’d rate it 5 stars+. Thank you very much.

Everywhere you look is picture-perfect, with tasteful, high-quality furnishings throughout. From the tableware and amenities to the loungewear and slippers in the Room, everything reflects the owner’s impeccable sense of style, attention to detail, and heartfelt hospitality. The bath is available for private use in 1-hour slots and includes a spacious open-air bath. The Facility is new and spotless, and both bath towels and face towels are provided there—no need to bring them from your Room. Dinner was a full-course meal with drink pairings featuring wood-fired cuisine. The moment you bring each dish to your mouth, a gentle aroma of firewood rises—wonderfully fragrant. The venison was tender and unforgettable. The Spanish mackerel was thick-cut: its skin crisped beautifully on the outside while remaining rare inside—an exquisite doneness that changes in flavor and texture depending on where you bite. The Chiya beef had a lightly charred surface seared by an intense burst of flame that acted like a seasoning; inside it was ultra-rare, with subtle marbling whose sweetness and deep meaty umami grew richer with every bite. In these wood-fired dishes, the charred bitterness on the outside intertwines with tenderness and sweetness within—an almost mind-bending contrast. After enjoying generous wines, I returned pleasantly tipsy to my Room; as soon as I lay down on the Simmons bed, its comfort sent me straight into a deep sleep. Breakfast in the restaurant wrapped in soft morning light was just as wonderful—a beautiful spread laid out on an elegant tablecloth. The first glass of Jersey milk tasted especially soothing after a night of drinking. We enjoyed plenty of fresh vegetables, house-made terrine, and local bread. We were so full that we canceled our planned all-you-can-eat Shine Muscat grapes at a nearby farm. Thank you to the owner’s family members who were visiting over the weekend—for tending the garden and explaining dishes at dinner—and also to both staff members for all your thoughtful care during our stay. True to its name—the “Mimasaka Raisan Course”—the cooking draws out each ingredient’s best flavors through careful preparation and seasoning. Watching primal wood-fire flames up close from counter seating—the heat, aroma, and char—speaks directly to all five senses through each ingredient. It may sound dramatic, but it left me grateful for nature’s gifts and for life itself. Combined with comfort far beyond expectations, it remains deeply memorable as a wonderful trip. (Before dinner there was low-frequency vibration inside the Room; one star deducted for Facility/equipment. It dissipated after dinner.)

It felt like a home theater with the large TV and audio system. We enjoyed watching movies as a family with cinema-like sound quality. Both the bathroom and bedroom were comfortable, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

Located in an Onsen area, but it is not an Onsen. However, there is a large public bath, and it is clean. The rooms are also clean and give a comforting feeling like returning to your family home. It was very relaxing. A very nice accommodation. Yukata, toothbrushes, and towels are provided. However, razors are not available, so please bring one if you need to shave.

This is a private rental of a renovated traditional house, very spacious, and overall we had a comfortable stay. The bedroom was cozy, and the bathroom and vanity area were especially large, which made it convenient for two people to get ready at the same time. The lighting was bright and easy to use, insect control indoors was well handled, and we were able to use the Facility without any issues. When we consulted in advance about the check-in time, they kindly accommodated an earlier check-in, which was very helpful. There is also Shuttle Service available, making transportation very convenient. On the other hand, there are two points we would be happy to see improved. First is the height of some beams. For someone around 175 cm tall, a beam sits just above eye level, making it easy to miss—I hit my head several times. Since I hit it quite hard once, for safety it would be reassuring to have warning stickers or signs. Second, in the first-floor bedroom we could hear some road noise from passing cars at night. The second floor was relatively quiet, so those who are sensitive to noise may prefer sleeping upstairs. Other than that, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere of a traditional house.

The front desk staff provided courteous and pleasant service during both check-in and check-out. The complimentary services were exceptional, especially the free dinner bowls, which were the highlight of my stay. I only needed to purchase a salad and edamame from a convenience store to complete a satisfying dinner. That evening, there were curry and two types of bowls (frozen pre-packaged beef bowl and ginger pork bowl), both of which were truly delicious. The free soft drink bar even included an alcohol button, offering highballs and sours, with sake available nearby. Additionally, there were stick drinks, tea bags, soup packets, mini ramen, ochazuke packs, and bean snacks, making the service truly outstanding. However, I was disappointed not to find a cold water pitcher, which I believe is in high demand. The hotel also has an attached izakaya, which I considered visiting if I wanted more drinks. However, the loud voices of some patrons early in the evening made it uninviting, so I decided not to go. When I asked the front desk about takeout options, they mentioned it was a separate business, so they were unsure. In the end, the free bowls and drinks were more than enough, and I didn’t use the izakaya. The breakfast venue is the same izakaya, operating in a buffet style. Nearly half the seating area is used for the food stations, resulting in limited seating and potential wait times depending on the timing. When I stayed at Toyoko Inn Kurashiki, the lobby served as the breakfast area, which was quite small, but they provided takeout bento boxes for room dining, allowing for a relaxed breakfast experience. If the crowding persists, this could be a consideration for improvement. The bed in the room had a springy mattress, which I personally found uncomfortable. This was my second experience, after Cuore Kurashiki Hotel, where I bounced too much during a turn and fell off the bed. The height caused me to hit my knee hard, leaving a significant bruise. The rental services were excellent, so I would appreciate the addition of bed guards or floor impact-absorbing mats for rental. This would provide peace of mind for future stays. The front desk staff are kind and attentive, and a free dinner is also provided. There are supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. McDonald’s and Osaka Ohsho are also within walking distance! The paid breakfast options, including curry, are very helpful. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed at “Yuzu no Yado Senrien” in Yunogo with our family and our beloved dog! The Room where we could stay with our dog was very comfortable, and we were truly happy that we could enjoy the delicious meals together the whole time. Usually on trips, our dog has to stay behind or we end up spending time apart, but this time our whole family could be together from start to finish and relax with peace of mind. Using the Accommodation as a base, just step out into the Onsen town and you’ll find everything packed into a charming, walkable area—an atmospheric shrine, footbaths to soothe tired feet, and stylish, cozy cafes. We were able to take a leisurely stroll at our dog’s pace and felt genuinely refreshed. With such warm hospitality and the best holiday spent together with the family (and our pup), it became an unforgettable memory that made us think from the bottom of our hearts, “We’re so glad we chose this place.” We also used a private bath inside the property with our dog. It was not an Onsen. It’s a favorite Accommodation we’d love to visit again in a different season!
