I recently stayed at Ki no Ma. As my ancestors are from Omi, I visited this time and felt a joy as if I had met them by staying in a historic building connected to the legacy of the Omi merchants. The warm hospitality was wonderful, and above all, the meals were outstanding. The combination of fresh, carefully selected ingredients and the chef’s skill is truly moving. This is a highly recommended Accommodation, and I would definitely like to stay again.

Although I live in the prefecture, I had wanted to stay here for a long time, and I was finally able to do so this time. It’s a dog-focused Hotel in every way, and all the staff were very friendly, so we had a truly enjoyable time. Because it was extremely hot for the season, we couldn’t use the outdoor dog run, but we still had fun using the indoor dog run and taking walks around the property. The meals were stylish and delicious, and the large public bath was not crowded, so I could relax—overall I was satisfied with everything. I can’t stay often, but it’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

I always look for Route Inn during my travels and use their services. I'm aiming to visit all their locations.

We stayed in a Japanese-style room in the East Wing. We had dinner with the Omi beef buffet course. The Omi beef sukiyaki was tender, nicely marbled without being too fatty, and very delicious. Since the property is set in nature, the view from the window was wonderful, with a panoramic view of Lake Biwa.

All the staff, including at the front desk, were kind and helpful. We enjoyed Omi beef near the Hotel. The Hotel was quiet, and although the Room felt a bit old, it didn’t bother us. Above all, the breakfast buffet was truly delicious across the board. There was a wide variety, and some items were served in small bowls, which is perfect for anyone who wants to try many different dishes.

Conveniently located near the station, with Special Rapid Service trains also stopping there. A large supermarket next door meant we didn’t have to worry about dinner. We were also happy that the second-floor bath was spacious enough to stretch out and relax in. Breakfast was delicious, and we ended up eating more than we planned. Guests can also use the coffee machine outside the dining area, which was a nice way to unwind.

We stayed as a group of three, and the room was spacious enough with a large TV, offering great value for money. It’s also within walking distance to Tiffany's, which was very convenient. We were extremely satisfied. The front desk staff were all smiling and exuded hospitality, making our stay very pleasant.

I stayed here on a business trip. The staff were very helpful, and I appreciated that the toilet and bath were separate. The area was quiet, so I slept well. Breakfast is buffet-style, and the staff prepare freshly cooked dishes such as stir-fries. The flavors were well balanced, with a comforting, home-style taste that reminded me of breakfast at my parents’ house. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Used for a trip. Both the lobby and the room were tastefully furnished, and the welcome drinks and other amenities were plentiful. The double bed was king-size, so we stayed very comfortably. Great value for money.

Great value, yet very clean! I was extremely satisfied! The complimentary coffee and green tea, and even the microwave curry, were delicious. I’ll definitely stay again.

[Hospitality & Service] The Facility staff were kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and truly wonderful. When the fire wouldn’t light, they helped right away, and the next morning they even came over to check on us. From check-in to check-out, their warm and refreshing service made us feel great throughout our stay. (I could tell the moment we arrived that the staff were genuinely nice—haha.) [Room] Both inside and outside the Room were unbelievably clean. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—“comfortable” is exactly the right word. *My friend said the floor in the Room was so clean, cool, and pleasant that he slept on it even though there was a bed—lol.* Everything we used within the Facility was spotless, so you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. [Other] I honestly have no complaints at all, but if I had to mention just three things: 1) It might be nice to have a TV or something in the Facility? → Since you can enjoy BBQ until night, I personally didn’t need one because it’s great just soaking up the atmosphere—but some guests might head back to their Room earlier. 2) The reception location (at check-in) → It’s not particularly hard to find, but since reception is on the opposite side of the main road, having a sign or clearer guidance might help. (There was information online.) 3) This is such a great Facility that I’d love for you to upload more photos!!! → It was even better than what I expected from the listing photos, so I ended up being pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. [Finally] This time I happened to see “Hikone Lakeside Resort KOMOREVILLAGO” recommended and made a Reservation—but it made me want it to become more well-known because it’s such a place worth supporting. It feels like it will keep developing further as well, so I’m really looking forward to what’s next—haha. I know it must be tough at times, but I hope you keep going strong. Thank you for providing such a comfortable space!!

Before arriving, we got a little lost, but friendly locals kindly spoke to us. Even before check-in, we felt the warmth of the people and it made us smile. At the entrance, the cool sound of wind chimes welcomed us. We were impressed by how beautifully maintained this historic building is—many original elements remain, yet everything is kept in excellent condition. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful explanations about the origin of the transom designs, hidden features within the building, and local history, we enjoyed our tour far more deeply than we could have on our own. The garden in the Omi-associated “Donketsu-ryu” style was unlike anything we had seen before. With many tall trees, we could enjoy a beautiful layered view not only from the first floor but also from our Room on the second floor. There was also a pond shaped like Lake Biwa and a tea-room-like space—an outstanding setting that made us want to relax outdoors in other seasons as well. We were also very satisfied with our meal at “Kokarokkon,” which came highly recommended by the Facility. Not only was every dish exceptional, but we were moved by everything—from the displayed art and attentive care from the staff to their explanations of each course and enjoyable conversation. This was a wonderful Accommodation filled with history, gardens, great food, and warm hospitality. We would love to visit again during a season when it’s comfortable enough to spend more time outside.

We had a relaxing time with our family. It was convenient as there were restaurants, shops, and a coin laundry within walking distance. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby tourist attractions. Since we had a Multiple Night Stay this time, having two sets of towels would have been even better. However, the cherry blossom-themed interior design was lovely, and overall we were very satisfied. Thank you!

We stayed for two nights, using this dog-first Accommodation as our base for exploring Shiga and Hyogo. The Room had a wonderful atmosphere, and even with five adults it didn’t feel cramped—we were able to relax comfortably. Having a convenience store right in front is very handy, but since the street out front has quite a bit of traffic, light sleepers may notice the noise. The bedroom was on the second floor, and the stairs were steeper than expected. With a small dog you can probably carry them up, but if you’re bringing a medium-sized or larger dog that sleeps with you upstairs, it might be a bit challenging. Our dog was happy relaxing downstairs, so it wasn’t an issue for us. We also wanted to visit “Juunintoiro” with our dog, but we ended up getting back late from watching the Inter-High games and couldn’t make it—such a shame. Next time we’d love to come in a cooler season, enjoy Omihachiman at a leisurely pace, and stop by Juunintoiro during our walk!

We stayed here as a couple during a trip to Lake Biwa on the Saturday of a three-day weekend. Although it was very affordable, the room was spacious, and we had a relaxing time. The large public bath was designated for men that day, but since we were able to make a reservation, we enjoyed it as a private bath and had an incredibly luxurious experience. There are places nearby within walking distance for dining and shopping, which made our stay even more satisfying! Above all, the seasoning of the side dishes and miso soup at breakfast was absolutely delicious—it was perfect! The foreign staff at reception kindly answered my questions with great effort and provided excellent service. I would love to stay here again for another budget-friendly trip! Thank you very much.

The parking lot next to the Hotel has limited spaces, so it was full. The parking lot the front desk told us about is a bit of a walk, but it was spacious and nice. The Room was small, but since we only needed it for sleeping, it wasn’t a problem. It’s not large, but there is also a large public bath, which was nice because I thought there would only be a unit bath. For breakfast, the dining area isn’t very big, so there was a line around 8:30. We went at 6:30 and were able to eat right away. Overall, I think it won’t be an issue on weekdays.

It was challenging to find the way as the entrance is through a narrow alley, but I appreciated the guidance provided. Although there seemed to be a rock bath available, I was too tired and used the bath in my Room instead. Even so, I was able to relax and enjoy it at my own pace.

Thanks to my grandchild's participation in the National Sports Festival, I had the chance to visit Shiga Prefecture for the first time in a while. I chose this place because it was close to the competition venue. It was my first time using Rakuten STAY HOUSE, and it was quite nice. The Facility was well-equipped, making it very convenient for a Multiple Night Stay. This time, my focus was on the National Sports Festival, but next time I would like to use it for sightseeing purposes.

Located along National Route 8 heading from Omihachiman toward Hikone, this Hotel offers a spacious parking lot and is convenient for guests traveling by car. Although it is on a main road, it is relatively quiet, and there are convenience stores and dining options nearby. The seafood tempura restaurant “Tsumugiya” right in front is affiliated with this Hotel and is recommended. Rooms under the Plan without bath/toilet are in a separate annex building connected to the main building; both the bedroom and bath are commensurate with the price, with nothing particularly noteworthy. This Accommodation is recommended for those looking for a reasonably priced Hotel with good convenience.
