Although I live in the prefecture, I had wanted to stay here for a long time, and I was finally able to do so this time. It’s a dog-focused Hotel in every way, and all the staff were very friendly, so we had a truly enjoyable time. Because it was extremely hot for the season, we couldn’t use the outdoor dog run, but we still had fun using the indoor dog run and taking walks around the property. The meals were stylish and delicious, and the large public bath was not crowded, so I could relax—overall I was satisfied with everything. I can’t stay often, but it’s a Hotel I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.

We arrived in Hikone before check-in time, but we were happy that you came to pick us up at Hikone Station. In front of the large public bath, you had placed nicely chilled tea, which was a great help since I was traveling with my grandchild who drinks tea often. This is a calm, comfortable Accommodation where you can feel the spirit of hospitality everywhere. You prepared private dining rooms for both dinner and breakfast, so we could relax and enjoy the delicious meals with peace of mind even with our preschool-aged grandchild. When my grandchild became sleepy during our stay, you even carried the futon for us—thank you very much for your kindness. As this is a cuisine-focused Ryokan, it met our expectations perfectly, and we were truly impressed by the head chef’s wonderful dishes. Thank you very much.

I always look for Route Inn during my travels and use their services. I'm aiming to visit all their locations.

The property is very close to the station and easy to find. There are many places to eat nearby, making it very convenient and highly recommended. The Room was relatively spacious, so we could relax comfortably even with our suitcases open. Both the interior and the Facility were clean and well equipped, making our stay very comfortable. The hair dryer worked great. We were also able to borrow a hair iron at the front desk. The loungewear with Hikonyan embroidery was very cute. All of the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. It was a big help that they could store our luggage even after check-out. Thanks to you, we had a comfortable trip—thank you very much. Next time, we would like to book meals as well.

The station is right in front, which is very convenient. The Facility was also very clean. The Room was spacious, and the semi-double bed was comfortable. The staff always greeted us with a smile and provided very pleasant service. There were many other guests, including international travelers, but both the Room and the hallways were very quiet. It was my first time staying at this Hotel, and I was surprised at how much variety there was at breakfast—more than I expected! The Hotel’s special smoothies and a local specialty hot pot were delicious and made for a wonderful memory. I was truly impressed that even though breakfast is free, you can still enjoy local specialties. I ate plenty in the morning and was able to enjoy the rest of my trip even more afterward. We stayed here while touring the Kotō Sanzan temples. The top-floor Japanese-Western style room was spacious and had a great view. Both breakfast and dinner used local ingredients, and we were satisfied with both the quality and quantity. The sukiyaki beef was especially delicious. We used the large public bath after day-use hours ended, and it was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were kind as well. The area around the Hotel is also well maintained. We will stay here again when we visit Kotō. Thank you for your hospitality.

Conveniently located near the station, with Special Rapid Service trains also stopping there. A large supermarket next door meant we didn’t have to worry about dinner. We were also happy that the second-floor bath was spacious enough to stretch out and relax in. Breakfast was delicious, and we ended up eating more than we planned. Guests can also use the coffee machine outside the dining area, which was a nice way to unwind.

Great value, yet very clean! I was extremely satisfied! The complimentary coffee and green tea, and even the microwave curry, were delicious. I’ll definitely stay again.

Before arriving, we got a little lost, but friendly locals kindly spoke to us. Even before check-in, we felt the warmth of the people and it made us smile. At the entrance, the cool sound of wind chimes welcomed us. We were impressed by how beautifully maintained this historic building is—many original elements remain, yet everything is kept in excellent condition. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful explanations about the origin of the transom designs, hidden features within the building, and local history, we enjoyed our tour far more deeply than we could have on our own. The garden in the Omi-associated “Donketsu-ryu” style was unlike anything we had seen before. With many tall trees, we could enjoy a beautiful layered view not only from the first floor but also from our Room on the second floor. There was also a pond shaped like Lake Biwa and a tea-room-like space—an outstanding setting that made us want to relax outdoors in other seasons as well. We were also very satisfied with our meal at “Kokarokkon,” which came highly recommended by the Facility. Not only was every dish exceptional, but we were moved by everything—from the displayed art and attentive care from the staff to their explanations of each course and enjoyable conversation. This was a wonderful Accommodation filled with history, gardens, great food, and warm hospitality. We would love to visit again during a season when it’s comfortable enough to spend more time outside.

[Hospitality & Service] The Facility staff were kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and truly wonderful. When the fire wouldn’t light, they helped right away, and the next morning they even came over to check on us. From check-in to check-out, their warm and refreshing service made us feel great throughout our stay. (I could tell the moment we arrived that the staff were genuinely nice—haha.) [Room] Both inside and outside the Room were unbelievably clean. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—“comfortable” is exactly the right word. *My friend said the floor in the Room was so clean, cool, and pleasant that he slept on it even though there was a bed—lol.* Everything we used within the Facility was spotless, so you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. [Other] I honestly have no complaints at all, but if I had to mention just three things: 1) It might be nice to have a TV or something in the Facility? → Since you can enjoy BBQ until night, I personally didn’t need one because it’s great just soaking up the atmosphere—but some guests might head back to their Room earlier. 2) The reception location (at check-in) → It’s not particularly hard to find, but since reception is on the opposite side of the main road, having a sign or clearer guidance might help. (There was information online.) 3) This is such a great Facility that I’d love for you to upload more photos!!! → It was even better than what I expected from the listing photos, so I ended up being pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. [Finally] This time I happened to see “Hikone Lakeside Resort KOMOREVILLAGO” recommended and made a Reservation—but it made me want it to become more well-known because it’s such a place worth supporting. It feels like it will keep developing further as well, so I’m really looking forward to what’s next—haha. I know it must be tough at times, but I hope you keep going strong. Thank you for providing such a comfortable space!!

Located in the heart of the sightseeing area, the location is excellent. It was my first time using self check-in, but it went smoothly without any issues. The Room was spacious enough, clean, and very comfortable. I tried to make a Reservation for the private bath, but only the next day was available. Since there were no Hotel staff on duty at that time to ask for help, I gave up. It said Reservations could be made until 11:00 PM on the same day, so I may have made a mistake during the process. One request: even though it is in a tourist area, I would like you to reconsider having guests store their luggage in a shared space under self-management.

Conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Minami-Hikone Station. I traveled by train this time and was able to plan my activities according to the train schedule. There is a convenience store next door, and a large shopping center in front of the station, making it very convenient. The welcome drink selection seemed a bit limited. Breakfast was complimentary and sufficient. It would have been even better if there were bathing facilities available. This was my first time staying at this Hotel, but I would like to try other locations as well.

Great location for sightseeing. Parking is available, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Hikone Castle. There’s a convenience store nearby, and plenty of places to eat in the area.

I stayed here to cheer on my son at the Inter-High. The Hotel felt modern in every way—unmanned check-in, an elevator with touchless buttons, door access by entering a PIN code, and a shower room without a bathtub. Since it was my first time using these features, I was a bit confused from check-in to entering the Room, but I managed by reading the emails. I was very satisfied to have a stylish Room with a double bed all to myself. However, since most of the Room is taken up by the bed, it would probably feel cramped for two people.

The TV and the bed are very good! The atmosphere feels like the Showa era. The bathroom and toilet are separate. I’m a non-smoker, but only a smoking room was available; however, I barely noticed any smell. It was a Hotel where I could truly relax.

Because my university entrance exam was on a weekday and the location was far away, I stayed here for the exam. My schedule wasn’t confirmed until the last minute, so I booked the Room as two separate one-night stays (two nights total). Normally I would have had to check out once, but they kindly accommodated my request and allowed me to stay in the same Room for a Multiple Night Stay. I was able to study calmly before the exam, and I truly appreciated it. Thank you very much.

The Room was small. Once we laid out four futons, there was almost no space left. It was fine if you just need a place to sleep. The bathroom and toilet are separate. Everything was kept clean, and it was well received by our family. Due to our schedule, we checked in after 10:00 PM, but the front desk staff assisted us politely, which was very helpful.
