This was my second stay, about two years since the last time. On my previous visit, everything left a lasting impression—the quality of the Onsen water, the hospitality, and the food—so this time I returned for a Multiple Night Stay of two nights. Over the past two years I’ve stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans for both work and personal trips, but coming back here reminded me once again what makes this place so special. Although I arrived much later than planned, a staff member greeted me at the entrance to the parking area in light rain. It was already dark and hard to see the entrance clearly, so I truly appreciated that thoughtful attention to detail. My Room was the same as last time, with a direct view of Mt. Fuji. The spacious layout, spotless cleanliness, and the ability to enjoy an Onsen bath and sauna in the Room were all outstanding. On day two I spent the entire day working online from my Room. After finishing work and relaxing in the Onsen and sauna, I didn’t feel like going out, so late in the afternoon I decided on short notice to request dinner at the Hotel. I have a beef allergy and have also been avoiding heavy dishes recently, so I made several difficult requests—but they accommodated them graciously. And that meal was truly exceptional. Though French cuisine, it was light yet satisfying—clean flavors with a gentle touch. Each dish was carefully prepared; everything was surprisingly delicious, and I enjoyed it comfortably through to the end. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans over the years, but this visit reminded me that true quality shows itself not only in luxury but in attentive care for each individual guest. The staff’s natural and pleasant service, wonderful food, and a quiet space where you can truly unwind made for an immensely fulfilling stay. My work progressed smoothly as well—I felt refreshed both physically and mentally. I will definitely return again soon. Thank you very much.

We arrived by car, and even in the heat we were greeted before we even reached the entrance. Sometimes you’re welcomed after arriving at the entrance, or staff are stationed at the entrance to greet you—but this time they were already waiting out front. Isn’t that almost too wonderful? The welcome drink was delicious as well. This time we chose a lower grade and stayed in the Residence building. Getting from the Main building to the Residence requires walking a short distance outside, so it might be a concern on rainy days. There are also a few stairs, but staff will carry your luggage, so it shouldn’t be an issue. There is a private Onsen along the way, so for those who plan to use it, staying in the Residence may actually be more convenient. The Room was spacious enough. Our pre-requested baby cot, diaper bin, baby bath, etc., were already set up in the Room, so families with babies can stay with peace of mind. The indoor bath is an Onsen with free-flowing natural spring water in the Room. The temperature was perfect—absolutely wonderful. The BVLGARI amenities were also great. Breakfast was delicious, and the portions were just right—more than enough. As for the cuisine overall, I think the chef’s skill is outstanding. At dinner service most guests dress neatly, so for men it’s better to wear something with a collar to match the atmosphere. On our first stay last time we didn’t know what to expect and dressed too casually—lesson learned. Shorts and a T-shirt would probably still be fine; this is simply about maintaining the overall ambiance. The outer-side seating likely has better views, but if you have children I recommend sitting on the lobby side—you don’t have to worry as much about others there, which really helps. If your baby starts crying hard nonstop (as babies do), you can simply step out. I’m very interested in dinner as well, but with a baby we couldn’t use it considering the atmosphere—hopefully someday. The evening ambiance is wonderful. Service is excellent as expected—from checkout through seeing us off was superb—and I honestly wonder if there is any Accommodation that surpasses this one. Given today’s times I imagine staff training must be challenging everywhere, but this Accommodation’s hospitality stands out as truly exceptional. Thank you to all staff members and chefs alike. My friend and I stayed here to enjoy the outlet shopping. The Reviews were excellent, so we chose this Hotel instead of one inside the outlet—and it was absolutely the right decision! The room was spacious and relaxing, with a very comfortable double bed. The amenities were wonderfully well stocked, and we were truly impressed by the large, easy-to-use bathroom. For dinner we chose teppanyaki, which was outstanding. We were more than satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the ingredients, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine as well. If I could make just one request: after relaxing in the bath and before dinner, it would be even better if there were a place where we could enjoy an aperitif. Both the Facility and service were impeccable, and we had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much—we would definitely love to stay again next time.

We stayed here to celebrate our dog’s first birthday. It was our first family trip with the puppy we had just welcomed home, and we had many worries, but thanks to the kindness of the staff and the well-stocked amenities, we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. And above all, the meals were delicious!! We had both breakfast and dinner, and both left us completely satisfied—full in body and heart. The Onsen in the large public bath was wonderful as well. The open-air bath in our Room is not an Onsen, but it was spacious and relaxing. Our family has already been saying how we want to come back again soon.

This was our first stay here. Although we originally planned to come by car and had to switch to the train at short notice, you still picked us up at the scheduled time. The Room was just the right size for two people, and we also appreciated how clean it was. There were plenty of amenities and many complimentary drinks, so we were able to relax and take our time. Each dish was carefully prepared, and combined with dining in a private room, it felt truly luxurious. Everything tasted excellent. We enjoyed the chocolates served at the end of dinner during our morning coffee time. The late-night snack was also refined and delicious. The bath required adjusting the temperature, but that actually allowed us to set it exactly how we liked it, which was great. As it is a sulfur hot spring, there was a faint scent that lingered after bathing, but it wasn’t too strong—just enough to feel its benefits. Breakfast was also delicious: kamameshi cooked with dashi with slightly indulgent side dishes, all thoughtfully prepared. Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay.

We stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary trip. Every meal was delicious!! The in-room open-air bath was wonderful, and we were able to relax in the Japanese-Western style Room, which we were very satisfied with! They even prepared a celebratory plate during dinner—it truly made for a happy one-night stay! Thank you very much. We were also happy that the drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary! We would love to stay here again when we visit Hakone!

First of all, the cleanliness of the Hotel’s Rooms and other Facilities was very, very good. I stayed for three nights and treated myself by taking an Obon holiday at this Hotel. It was an Obon holiday filled with gratitude for the food and all the staff. The Onsen was also wonderful, and I felt genuine care in every detail, including the free ice pops after bathing. Thank you for such a wonderful trip with my dog. I will come again, and I look forward to staying with you then as well.

We are always very satisfied with the pleasant hospitality, delicious meals, and relaxing Onsen. This time, we chose the teppanyaki dinner course for the first time, and it was delicious and very satisfying. It made us want to visit again right away, so as soon as we returned home, we promptly made our next Reservation. We look forward to staying with you again.

This was our first time staying in Sengokuhara. The interior of the building felt darker than we expected. It felt very private, and we did not encounter any other guests at all during our stay. The meals were just the right amount for us and were very delicious. Above all, the in-Room Onsen was wonderful, and we enjoyed it many times. Having steps installed inside the bathtub made it very easy to use for someone with mobility issues. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Thank you for all your thoughtful care and attention. We will look forward to staying again and will get through our daily life with that in mind.

I thoroughly enjoyed the free-flowing open-air hot spring bath, even though it was just a one-night stay. Dinner was also just the right amount, with a modest portion size. We previously stayed in Oku no Ki-ki as a couple, but the Room felt too large for us and the outside view was somewhat limited (the garden), so it didn’t quite suit us. This time, however, those points were just right and we were able to relax. One small thing I noticed was that when we closed the windows completely at night to sleep, there was a distinctive smell typical of a Japanese-style room (perhaps). The attendant was also very courteous and left a great impression.

It was a very comfortable stay. The French dinner was outstanding, and we were truly satisfied! The bread was also excellent. We hope you will maintain this level of quality. The bath and the room layout were well designed, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail from the guest’s perspective. We would love to visit again.

It is a very quiet Ryokan where we were able to relax and enjoy delicious cuisine. The in-Room Onsen was spacious and comfortable, and with the drink service as well, we were able to unwind at a leisurely pace. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, allowing us to fully savor the season. We are grateful for the thoughtful hospitality of the staff. The only reason I did not give full marks for the Facility and amenities is simply a small, indulgent wish: it would be nice if samue loungewear were available.

With only a small number of Rooms, we were able to enjoy the Facility without much contact with other guests. As for the baths, we were able to take our time and enjoy all of them—the private open-air bath, the in-room open-air bath, and the in-room indoor bath. We’d also like to try the stone sauna next time. There were hours when we could use the lounge for beer, alcohol, coffee, and more. Although we couldn’t make it for cocktail time, we still made good use of it. It would be even better if the lounge stayed open a little later. Every dish had a gentle flavor and there was an impressive variety; everything was delicious and beautifully presented, so we enjoyed it with our eyes as well. Being able to choose three desserts ourselves was also great. Because we could dine at a relaxed pace, the portions felt just right and everything was very tasty. The Room was so clean that it didn’t feel like 15 years had passed at all, and we stayed very comfortably. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the wash area was a bit small. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as having separate towels prepared for the open-air bath and the indoor bath. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We have four dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Mameshiba, so we always stay in a villa with a private dog run. However, every time we’ve felt that something was always just slightly inconvenient—but RETONA was perfect. Since there’s a splash pond in the dog run, we thought we should bring towels, but there were towels right at the entrance, along with a water tank for dogs and bowls. We also received one complimentary drink per person from the vending machine at the dog-run entrance!! Thanks to that, our dogs were able to run around the spacious dog run to their hearts’ content and slept soundly at night. For dinner, since our dogs are always with us as usual, we assumed the food would end up getting cold—but each dish was served at just the right time: hot items while still hot and cold items while still cold. Everything was delicious—the soup and even the mango vegetable juice—and the appetizers were presented like an afternoon tea set: not only tasty but also beautifully arranged. Whenever we met any staff member, they greeted us with wonderful smiles, and they even helped carry our luggage upon arrival—which was truly helpful for our multi-dog household. The bath in our Room was very spacious as well, everything was spotless throughout, and above all we didn’t feel any drawbacks or inconvenience at all. We travel at least five or six times a year, and during long holidays we often stay about four nights. We would absolutely love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a 14-tatami room with the Beef Shabu-Shabu Plan. We drove there, and after check-in they kindly provided Shuttle Service to Togendai. Dinner featured beautifully marbled beef shabu-shabu, which got the whole family excited, and it was delicious. Although we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji even once due to afternoon thunderstorms on both days, we were very satisfied with the great hot spring bath and tasty meals.

The facilities, bath area, and Room were all clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. There was a great variety of food we enjoyed, along with many kinds of alcohol and drinks—it felt like a luxurious Business Hotel. The staff were very kind, and check-in and payment were smooth. The weather wasn’t great, but it was still a fun golf trip. The misty garden had an almost magical atmosphere and was lovely too.

This Accommodation is packed with the best of a traditional Ryokan, and our whole family was delighted. We were amazed by how spacious the bath was, and the grandkids were excited about the jungle-like atmosphere. It was cherry blossom season, and everything was spectacular—flower mats, petals floating on the water, hazy blossom skies, swirling petal showers, even a “path of blossoms”! The kids were also surprised by the waterwheel. Thank you for a wonderful time we will always remember.

Although we stayed for only one night, we were very satisfied. We were able to forget the hustle and bustle of the city, relax, and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The staff were wonderful, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

From check-in to check-out, all the staff were consistently kind, and the service was impeccable. The Facility was new and well equipped, making our stay very comfortable. While the location is not particularly convenient for transportation, there is a Shuttle Service to the nearest station, so we did not feel much inconvenience. Overall, it is a wonderful Onsen Ryokan that we would definitely like to visit again.
