I think this Accommodation is very comfortable for solo travelers. I was worried about using the bath because I wanted to use it as many times as I liked whenever I wanted, but I was able to enjoy it to my full satisfaction. Breakfast also offered a generous variety. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back anytime. The shakuhachi performance was also a refreshing experience.

Because we have a child, we were looking for an Accommodation with in-room dining and a private open-air bath in the Room. After lots of searching, we decided to stay at Yaeno. First of all, the staff member assigned to our Room was easy to talk to and had a warm, motherly presence. We also really appreciated the thoughtful care for families with children. We enjoyed our meal slowly over two hours, and our child was served a luxurious set meal as well and happily ate it. The bath was incredibly relaxing—I used it about seven times. I’m particular about choosing a Ryokan with a private open-air bath in the guest room, but they’re often too hot, too small, or too humid… Surprisingly few are truly comfortable for a long soak. However, at Yaeno the temperature was just right and it felt wonderful. We could also take our time until 11:00 on departure day, so I highly recommend it for families with children. I’d love to come back again in winter.

From sweets and tea in the lounge to beer and wine at the restaurant, we enjoyed delicious offerings throughout the day. Everything was excellent, from the salads and sushi to the special menu item of scallop sashimi. Even though we were full, we also enjoyed the evening live performance. We would love to visit again.

This was my first stay. An inn nestled in Japan’s timeless satoyama countryside. The entrance quietly welcomes you. As soon as we parked, the staff greeted us and kindly carried our luggage. This time we stayed in a detached room with a semi-open-air bath. In the spacious traditional house, we could relax as if spending time at our family home in the countryside. The chef prepares seasonal local ingredients with great care and attention. A series of simple yet profound dishes that bring out the best of each ingredient’s natural flavor. We were completely satisfied with both the portion size and the taste. All of the staff were pleasant, and we truly had a wonderful trip. Big hotels are nice too, but this exceptional inn—quiet, unhurried, and perfect for adults to unwind—was simply outstanding.

The staff’s assistance in parking our car when we arrived was excellent. Also, the entire property was warm and comfortable, with no cold areas anywhere. The meals offered a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes with great seasoning, and we were very satisfied. When we left, two people—one of whom seemed to be the proprietress—saw us off with bows until our car was out of sight.\nIt was a wonderful ryokan. We would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here on the middle day of a three-day holiday weekend. This wonderful inn exceeded every “I wish it were like this” and “It would be nice if they had this,” and within minutes of arriving I was already thinking, “I want to come back!” [Service / Facilities / Baths] Everyone who assisted us was warm and courteous, and we were able to relax in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The room and the entire property were very clean, with tasteful ornaments and seasonal decorations throughout—such a lovely space. The amenities provided in the room and baths also reflected thoughtful attention to detail; you could really feel the staff’s care in having things that make guests think, “This is exactly what I needed.” Both the indoor bath and open-air bath could be reserved for private use, so we were able to unwind completely. The changing area was spotless, and the water temperature was perfect. When I headed to the indoor bath right after check-in, I was impressed—the mirrors gleamed, the faucets gleamed; everything was impeccably cleaned. [Meals] Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Highlights included a rich, velvety pumpkin potage; grated yam topped with soy-marinated egg yolk; whole char that was delicious down to the last bite; gently flavored vinegared dishes; chestnut rice with clear soup, and more. The yuba (tofu skin) and Japanese pepper were also excellent. We upgraded the main dish to wagyu beef—it was tender with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. For breakfast, the rice cooked in an earthenware pot was fluffy and glossy—I ended up having multiple refills. Everything—from teriyaki yellowtail to sesame tofu, miso soup, colorful vegetables with homemade dressing—was delicately seasoned with comforting flavors, and all of it was wonderful. This is a truly special inn where you can feel genuine hospitality everywhere. We’ve traveled to many places before, but this is somewhere we definitely want to return to—an inn that made me feel grateful to be Japanese. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

This was our 50th stay at last. We always look forward to visiting—for the delicious meals, the warm smiles of the familiar staff, and the hot springs. It was my first visit in 13-14 years. This time, it coincided with the first snowfall, but luckily the weather was clear and sunny, making for two perfect days of snowy scenery. The air was crisp, offering breathtaking views and a wonderful experience in the snow-viewing bath

This stay was highly satisfying from start to finish. The Room was spacious, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. Dinner offered an even wider variety than I expected; each dish tasted wonderful, the portions were generous, and I was completely satisfied. Breakfast also featured a great selection of small dishes, and I really liked the style of choosing freely from what I preferred—it made for a very fulfilling meal to start the day. The Onsen water was especially memorable, with a gentle softness that seemed to blend into the body. Not only did it ease my shoulder pain, but I could also feel my skin becoming smooth. In addition, the attentive and heartfelt hospitality unique to a long-established Ryokan further enhanced the quality of the stay. From check-in to check-out, all staff members were considerate and attentive, allowing me to feel comfortable throughout. Overall, this was an excellent Ryokan where everything—cuisine, Onsen, Room comfort, and service—was of a high standard. It is an Accommodation I would definitely like to visit again.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. Every time, all the meals are delicious. I usually stay for two nights, and I’m always very satisfied to be able to relax in the Room’s Onsen and enjoy plenty of reading at my leisure. I’ve recommended it to relatives and friends, and they were delighted. I’ll be back again.

The room was assigned by the hotel but was spacious enough for two people and very comfortable. The private bath with a snowy view was stunning, making us truly glad we came. With so many baths available, we enjoyed soaking throughout our stay and were extremely satisfied.

This was my second stay, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with attentive staff as well. Another highlight is having dinner served in your Room. There seem to be many repeat guests, and the large number of female guests may be proof of how good the food is. The Onsen is also wonderful, making it easy to unwind and relax—so I can see myself becoming a repeat guest. As an aside, access by car is convenient, but if you are traveling by train, getting to Yubiso Station is not very convenient, so it’s best to check in advance.

We stayed in a Room with a private bath. We almost got lost on the way to the bath and dining area. The bath was excellent. There were many foreign staff members, but their Japanese was very good, and everyone was kind and took great care of us. The meals were also delicious. It may be unavoidable, but the exterior glass was dirty, which was the only slightly disappointing point.

The Onsen was wonderful. We couldn’t finish all the meals. We’d like to stay again.

Flawless in every way. We stayed for one night with two adults and our dog. The room was spacious and well stocked with amenities. All staff were calm and professional, and we were allowed to enter the building while carrying our dog. We had no complaints about the large public bath or the changing area. The entire property was very clean, and many areas have been renovated and look beautiful. We could enjoy the De’Longhi coffee in the lounge at any time, and it was delicious. The souvenir shop had a great selection of items. Guests with dogs dine in private rooms separated by partitions, but the hospitality was perfect. There were many dishes, with unlimited rice refills. Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks were very reasonably priced, with a wide variety available. For both dinner and breakfast you can choose your dining time, and the staff welcome you warmly. There wasn’t a single disappointing point—this stay exceeded its price in every way. Our dog also had no restrictions or inconveniences, making it extremely comfortable (amenities, treat service, dog run, dining together, Child Sharing Existing Bedding, etc.). It was cool even in summer, and we loved the surrounding scenery and environment as well. We will definitely stay again.

The meals were absolutely luxurious! All the staff were attentive and kind. The all-you-can-drink options at dinner were very extensive, and the glasses were kept chilled in a dedicated refrigerator, which felt very clean. The bath facilities were also great, and the locker keys felt very secure. Just one thing: the trash bin under the sink in the Room washbasin area hadn’t been emptied, so that was the only negative point.

This was our second stay. We stayed the first time for our dog, and came back because the meals were so delicious. There were three of us, and while many places use extra beds for three guests, we were able to relax comfortably and were very satisfied. We were happy as ever with the adorable dogs. We were happy as ever with the delicious meals. We also loved the Onsen and the fresh greenery in the English garden. Thank you very much. We’ll be back!

I have traveled to many places, but this was an indescribably wonderful space where I had a truly great time. Despite the unfortunate rain, I was able to enjoy the outdoors without getting wet. Bringing my dog, enjoying the open-air bath, and experiencing outdoor activities—all my wishes came true!

Since it was the day we rented a car, we stayed here thinking it would be fine even if it was far from the station. We weren’t expecting much, but the food was excellent. The tableware was cute, and the presentation was elegant. Considering the price, we’d like to stay again.

I wasn’t even sure what “KKR” was at first, but I never imagined that it could be this affordable, this delicious, and this comfortable based on the price when I made the Reservation. The two front desk staff members at check-in were extremely polite, and the dining staff were truly kind and attentive both at night and in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who only value new, luxury Accommodation, but for an ordinary person like me, finding an Accommodation this satisfying for just 13,000 yen these days might be rare.
