The in-Room bath was great, and we also loved the four private baths available 24 hours a day with no Reservation required. The skincare lotion in the Room was Sekkisei, and for dinner we could choose rice or cheese. Even though we were full, the matsutake mushroom rice was so delicious that we finished it. In the evening, we were able to take the Shuttle Service bus to see the illuminated Yubatake. It was our first time in Kusatsu, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday trip. The Room was a Japanese-Western style, very spacious, and the open-air bath was excellent. We also ordered flowers; the size and color were perfect, and she was very happy with them. Thank you very much.

I had a very comfortable stay! There were a few minor housekeeping issues, but the Room and the Hotel overall were clean. I was very satisfied with the meals as well! I thought it might be nice to use even more of my favorite Nagano ingredients. I’d love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We headed to the inn in time for our 3:00 PM check-in. After enjoying a welcome drink, we went to our room. With only four groups accommodated, it was nice and quiet with few guests. Since dinner and breakfast times are set, we relaxed and fully enjoyed the hot springs until then. Meals are served at either a table or the counter. The staff were very knowledgeable about the food and drinks, so we learned a lot and had a wonderful time. It’s within walking distance to Yubatake and Sainokawara Park, making an after-dinner stroll perfect.

We stayed for one night and two days with our grandchild. As mentioned in other reviews, the building and rooms are indeed a bit old, but everything was properly cleaned and we had no issues. With the all-you-can-play passport, we enjoyed bowling, the pool, craft-making, festival-style games, quizzes, a stamp rally, and more—plenty to keep us entertained. The free shuttle bus from the hotel to Yubatake at night was extremely helpful; it was my first time seeing the Yubatake illuminations, and I was surprised by how many tourists were there. Even though it was summer, walking around Yubatake felt pleasantly cool—almost a little chilly—which was wonderful. The next day we used the hotel shuttle again because I wanted my grandchild to enjoy street food and try the yumomi experience as well. We had only ever visited Kusatsu in winter before, so this was our first summer visit. While news reports talked about extreme heat in Tokyo, we were amazed at how cool and comfortable Kusatsu was in summer. At night we didn’t need air conditioning in our room—it actually felt slightly chilly. Summer in Kusatsu is great. The food was delicious, and everyone at the front desk, reception counters, and shop—especially the international staff—was very polite and pleasant. Every staff member provided excellent service; I was truly impressed. This hotel is highly recommended for families with children as well. We would love to visit again. The only downside is that the hotel is so large that it’s easy to get lost—especially when trying to find the baths (as other reviews mentioned), and yes, we got lost too. Overall though it was a wonderful hotel. Thank you very much.

The sashimi set dinner featured local vegetables, and the sashimi was very fresh and delicious. The other dishes were also excellent, and we were very satisfied. The staff were kind, courteous, and attentive, making this a wonderful Accommodation. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

When I went to the front desk to ask if I could park my car before check-in, there were only foreign staff and I couldn’t communicate well. We stayed for two nights, and my wife lost the Room key, so I contacted the front desk, but again it was foreign staff and they didn’t understand—saying they would check—and that was it. However, with pre-registration enabling instant check-in via QR code and a Room mirror with tablet functions for instant check-out, I feel this Hotel is ahead of its time.

The dinner restaurant offered a serene Japanese ambiance with delicious flavors, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety, and the handmade rice balls were especially impressive! The open-air bath warmed us to the core, making it truly an

Pros: Friendly service. Great location—close to Yubatake and with parking available. Clean and well maintained. I used the bath at night and in the morning, and had it all to myself both times. The bread was delicious. Cons: The TV screen is small, so keep that in mind if you plan to watch TV. You can hear footsteps in the hallway. There were no slippers (they might be available), which wasn’t a big issue but felt a bit unusual.

The open-air bath was absolutely wonderful!! Breakfast—both Japanese and Western—offered a great variety of Gunma ingredients, and everything was delicious. I was especially impressed by the omelet made in the open kitchen; they customized the seasoning and sauce to my liking. Of course, it tasted great! Unfortunately, we weren’t blessed with good weather. The fog was so thick that we couldn’t enjoy the view from the Room or from the open-air bath, and I wasn’t able to see Mt. Asama or the surrounding mountain range I had been looking forward to—which was very disappointing. Perhaps because of the bad weather, there was a cute little teru-teru bozu placed in our Room, which really warmed my heart. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Here are a few things I noticed: It would have been nice if shower caps and hairbrushes were provided in the bathroom. I had breakfast by the window overlooking the golf course, but I noticed a spider web near the top of the window area. (There were quite a few on the outside as well.)

Because we had such a wonderful stay last year with my preschool-aged child, this year the three of us—including my husband—stayed again. On the first day, we played at Toy Kingdom nearby. We entered at 1:00 PM, and the park closed at 5:00 PM that day, so it felt like there wasn’t enough time to do everything. There were athletic activities, rides, and events as well, and we had a very fulfilling time. As for the dinner buffet, there were plenty of kid-friendly options again, so we were very satisfied! The roast beef, seasonal pasta (soy milk lemon), and Basque cheesecake were especially delicious. My child was thrilled to find sushi, hamburg steak, and straight-cut fries and ate until completely full. We were also surprised to see watermelon even though it was October—my child went back for seconds. The milk was tasty too; they drank a lot of it. During other times, we enjoyed the mystery-solving activity included in our plan as well as fireworks. Even inside the hotel we didn’t have enough time—we kept having strategy meetings like “What should we do next?” With one night including two meals for three people plus fireworks and Toy Kingdom tickets included in the plan, JPY 37,000 is an incredible value. At other hotels we often end up with nothing to do after check-in and spend time feeling bored, but here you can truly have a packed and enjoyable stay. Also, in August I booked through another site but had to cancel on the day due to my child not feeling well. When I called the hotel that morning, the front desk staff handled it very kindly. Thank you again for your help then. We will definitely stay again next year!

This was our second stay, the first in two years. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties unique to the area. Both the buffet staff and the front desk staff were very kind and attentive, which made our stay truly comfortable. In particular, the buffet staff explained things in a way that was easy for our child to understand and spoke to us in a friendly manner, which we really appreciated. When we stay in Kusatsu again, we would love to choose this Accommodation. Thank you very much.

It was within walking distance of Yubatake, and the meals offered a wide variety and were delicious. The Room was so spacious it almost felt like too much, but I was able to relax very comfortably. The open-air bath in the Room wasn’t very private despite being “open-air,” as it could be seen from outside, so I ended up having to lower the blinds, which reduced the sense of openness. Still, it was much better than an indoor bath. There was also a large public Onsen bath, so I could fully enjoy the Onsen there as well.

I assumed it would be just an Accommodation at a golf course and didn’t expect much, but it was unbelievably wonderful. The Facility—especially the Room—was cleaned more thoroughly than city Hotels, and the French cuisine in this Plan was of such a high standard that it felt like being in central Tokyo. As expected from the restaurant of a prestigious country club, and since discerning guests stay at this Accommodation, there’s clearly no cutting corners. Next time, I definitely want to stay again and play golf as well. Thank you so much to all the staff. We were extremely satisfied. My daughter’s wedding also went smoothly. Thank you very much.

I’d been interested for a long time, and finally had the chance to visit. The property was bright and comfortable, and you could feel the owner’s attention to detail throughout. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded my expectations in presentation and taste, and the portions were just right. The room was well ventilated with a nice breeze from the window, and the toilet was spacious. There were several types of tea bags available, and the bedding was very comfortable. The bath area was also pleasant. I loved being able to enjoy the hot spring all night, and there was also a sauna and cold plunge pool, so I could fully enjoy contrast bathing. I expected Kusatsu’s hot springs to be very hot, but it was actually a comfortable temperature. If I had one negative point: since there was no unpleasant musty smell anywhere in the facility, it didn’t seem necessary to have fragranced diffusers in places like the toilet or changing area. The towels also had a strong fabric-softener scent, and even though I used my own toiletries, other guests’ strongly scented shampoo/body wash would fill the entire bath area. That part was disappointing. When I mentioned the diffusers in the changing area and in-room toilet to staff, they moved them right away.

I only met the staff at check-in; after that, I didn’t really see anyone, and check-out is simple—just drop the key in the box. The Room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, be careful with the bath water—it’s extremely hot (maybe around 50°C). It takes time to cool it down with the shower, so it’s not ideal if multiple people need to use the bath one after another.

We chose this Accommodation for our kids, who love buffets. The buffet used plenty of ingredients typical of Gunma Prefecture, which we found really interesting! The manga corner and table tennis were also a hit with the kids!

Stayed in a log-type Accommodation. Spacious, atmospheric, and thoroughly clean. Great value, and we had a wonderful time. A Facility that welcomes dogs as well, making it suitable for a wide range of guests. We’d love to stay again!

We stayed with our dog. The Room and Facility are minimal but sufficient. However, although Wi‑Fi was broadcasting on 5G, it wasn’t connected to the internet, so we ended up enjoying a digital detox.
