I took a bus from Tokyo Station, got off at Highway Oasis Furari, and walked a little over 20 minutes. The road is somewhat difficult to walk on, but it’s not a busy street. Bath: Private-use only, with an indoor bath and an open-air bath as a set. It was clean, a comfortable size, and the water temperature wasn’t too hot—really nice. Room: Traditional Japanese-style. The futon was already laid out, so I relaxed and lounged around. There’s also a toilet and washbasin. I visited on a very humid day, so there was that distinctive tatami-room scent—nostalgic. And since there were shoji screens, I naturally woke up with the morning light. Meals: Absolutely amazing—just as rumored. Everything tasted great. It was my first time trying squid-leg croquettes, and they were delicious. Breakfast had lots of options too, and I ended up getting seconds of rice without thinking. The after-meal coffee was also excellent. The sea is close by as well; I went before breakfast and started the day feeling refreshed. Overall, this Accommodation is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy lots of fish dishes. Everyone greeted me with smiles, so I could relax comfortably and freely throughout my stay. The high ratings were well deserved—I’d love to come again.

From check-in—where we were warmly thanked for staying with you before—through check-out the next day, every staff member provided hospitality-filled service. Thank you very much. We stayed in a sea-facing Room this time, different from last year, and we definitely preferred thi

Due to various circumstances, I hadn’t been able to visit for quite some time, so this was my first stay in about two years—but it was still an Accommodation that left me completely satisfied, just as always. From the Shuttle Service onward, everyone was kind and helpful, and after arriving the stay was truly comfortable—warm and homey—and I was able to relax at a leisurely pace and unwind from everyday stress. At check-in I was told, “Our sommelier is on duty today.” I love wine and always look forward to dinner here, and this time the sommelier came to my table and kindly explained many things in detail to someone like me who’s simply a wine lover without much knowledge. Just listening and imagining those explanations while drinking made it an incredibly enjoyable time. Of course, every dish was delicious as well. Thank you for your thoughtful care even though I was traveling solo. I felt lucky that my stay happened to coincide with a day when the sommelier was working. This Accommodation always makes me feel a little sad when it’s time to leave—and from that very moment it makes me think, “I’ll work hard so I can come back again.” I will definitely stay again. Thank you so much for everything!!

It was a very satisfying stay in every aspect. (However, this time the open-air bath in the room was so pleasant that we did not use the large public bath.) With the staff's service, thorough cleaning, meals, etc., I definitely want to stay again. This is just a personal impr

Next time, I’d like to visit again around autumn when the weather is better. The meal included sashimi and a generous portion of spiny lobster, and everything was delicious. The steak was A5 grade and quite large; it felt like a lot for a couple, but we finished it all. They also

It was my first stay in a year, and I was happy to see staff members who had taken care of me before. Since Shinra has many international staff, it feels like visiting an overseas resort. Everyone speaks excellent Japanese and provides polite service—I’m always impressed. As Diam

In the morning, we grilled dried fish ourselves and enjoyed it freshly cooked—it was delicious! It was such a wonderful experience that we didn’t want to leave; we even wished to stay another night as a family. The staff provided excellent service too. We would love to vi

The room had an open-air bath, and the room was very spacious and clean. Since there are few guest rooms, it was quiet, and the meals were very good as we could use the table widely. There was a review about the large public bath, so I only used the new one, but the open-air bath

I was very satisfied with the relaxing stay. The fried horse mackerel for dinner was exquisite. Of course, I also enjoyed the main dish of clam and seaweed hot pot, followed by a uniquely crafted spaghetti to finish. The fondue for breakfast was also excellent! Lastly, the smiles

This was our first stay with our family of four and our Toy Poodle. Some Reviews mentioned that the property is old or has an odor, but once we arrived, we found the staff’s service, the meals, and the Facility to be more than satisfactory. We would like to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

This was my third stay. I stayed in the same Room with a kitchen as last time. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. In the evening, we could see Mt. Fuji from the Room, which made my mother very happy. For dinner, instead of ordering the boat sashimi platter we had last time, we took out sushi and ate it in the Room. Dinner is served in your Room here, so you can relax without worrying about others. I wanted to take it easy in the morning, so I chose no breakfast. If you want a hearty breakfast, I recommend booking a plan with breakfast included.\nThe beach was quiet since it was before Obon. There were lifeguards on duty as well, so it felt safe. Unfortunately, perhaps because it was after 3:00 PM on the day we went, the beach huts were closed. It rained the next day, so we gave up on going to the beach—but students from some school were swimming even in the rain.\nI’d love to come back to Iwai for another beach trip next year too.

From check-in until our car left the Ryokan, the staff naturally came outside to welcome and see us off. I think there are very few Ryokan or Hotels that do this. The preparation of the futon bedding and in-Room dining was pleasant, and it made for a wonderful stay. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. If I had one request, I would be happy if there were a bit more local vegetables—especially for guests in their 50s like us. This may be a matter of preference, but I felt the miso soup would have been even better if it were served a little hotter. Similarly, I would have preferred the water in the large public bath to be slightly hotter. What impressed me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned. Even at expensive Hotels or Ryokan, you often notice dust in hidden areas or peeling wallpaper and small flaws here and there, but everything visible was very clean. Precisely because it isn’t brand-new, it felt especially comfortable. It was my first stay here, but I feel like I got great value. My only concern is that many of the staff seemed to be around my age or a bit older, so I hope this Ryokan will continue for many years and be passed on to the next generation so guests can keep enjoying it. Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious, with three distinct areas—a bed area, a large couch sofa area, and a low sofa area—so I could relax in different spots and truly enjoy a leisurely stay in the Room. Every meal was delicious. The portions were very generous—more than I would usually be able

The front desk staff and dining staff provided kind and attentive service, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay with peace of mind. For dinner, we ordered an additional dish as an option—the simmered golden eye snapper exceeded expectations with its size and thickness. The

This is my second stay. The food is excellent, and at night it feels like a festival—such a fun place to stay.

Stayed in an ocean view upper floor twin room, satisfied with all the facilities including a large wall-mounted SONY 4K TV, Simmons bed, air purifier with humidifying function, and stylish washroom and bath. Chose an ocean view room, with a breathtaking view of the sea and sunset

The Onsen was so pleasant that I used both the 1st- and 4th-floor baths six times. At night there were illuminations throughout all areas—it was very beautiful. Our whole family was very satisfied with our stay. If we have another opportunity, we would like to stay here again as

We stayed in a TW Western-style Room without a bath and rented a crate. The bath could be used without running into other guests, and the large dog run was almost private, so our dog could run to their heart’s content. Since the beach is close by, we went straight from the Room in swimsuits, and afterward we were able to shampoo our dog at the Facility, which was great. We would love to stay again.

The breakfast buffet was also delightful, with horse mackerel, sardines, salmon, and fried eggs cooked at the table, hot and delicious. There was a good selection of squid salted and fermented, tofu, and rice accompaniments. As a fan of Japanese cuisine, it was the best! It w

We had a very comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, with a great variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. The bath was also wonderful—especially the open-air bath with an ocean view. The sound of the waves was soothing, and we were able to relax a
