I took a bus from Tokyo Station, got off at Highway Oasis Furari, and walked a little over 20 minutes. The road is somewhat difficult to walk on, but it’s not a busy street. Bath: Private-use only, with an indoor bath and an open-air bath as a set. It was clean, a comfortable size, and the water temperature wasn’t too hot—really nice. Room: Traditional Japanese-style. The futon was already laid out, so I relaxed and lounged around. There’s also a toilet and washbasin. I visited on a very humid day, so there was that distinctive tatami-room scent—nostalgic. And since there were shoji screens, I naturally woke up with the morning light. Meals: Absolutely amazing—just as rumored. Everything tasted great. It was my first time trying squid-leg croquettes, and they were delicious. Breakfast had lots of options too, and I ended up getting seconds of rice without thinking. The after-meal coffee was also excellent. The sea is close by as well; I went before breakfast and started the day feeling refreshed. Overall, this Accommodation is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy lots of fish dishes. Everyone greeted me with smiles, so I could relax comfortably and freely throughout my stay. The high ratings were well deserved—I’d love to come again.

Thank you for your very kind support, including answering our questions in advance, which made our trip truly comfortable. We were a little worried about the weather, but it was mostly cloudy, and even when it rained it was only a light drizzle, so we were able to enjoy the BBQ as well. The BBQ oven was set up just outside on the terrace under a roof, so we could use it with peace of mind. The Room was extremely clean, and all the amenities were stylish. There was also a washing machine, which was very convenient for doing laundry on site. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

This was my third stay. I stayed in the same Room with a kitchen as last time. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. In the evening, we could see Mt. Fuji from the Room, which made my mother very happy. For dinner, instead of ordering the boat sashimi platter we had last time, we took out sushi and ate it in the Room. Dinner is served in your Room here, so you can relax without worrying about others. I wanted to take it easy in the morning, so I chose no breakfast. If you want a hearty breakfast, I recommend booking a plan with breakfast included.\nThe beach was quiet since it was before Obon. There were lifeguards on duty as well, so it felt safe. Unfortunately, perhaps because it was after 3:00 PM on the day we went, the beach huts were closed. It rained the next day, so we gave up on going to the beach—but students from some school were swimming even in the rain.\nI’d love to come back to Iwai for another beach trip next year too.

We stayed as a middle-aged couple. We wondered if we might feel out of place, but it was a wonderful property with ocean views beyond the pool. Not only the pool, but also the two saunas each had their own unique atmosphere, and we enjoyed them both. The sunset and night views from the restaurant terrace were beautiful as well. Floating in the pool while gazing up at the blue sky was pure bliss. Thank you very much.

We stayed for two nights from 8/23 in an annex Triple Room as a family of four, including a 9-year-old boy. When we checked in, four beds (one was a sofa bed) were already prepared. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower room even had a ReFa shower head. The amenities were more than sufficient. The entire Room was clean, and there was an electric kettle along with instant coffee and tea. Since our Room was on the first floor, we could step directly out into the front garden, and our child was thrilled to catch insects. The pool was also clean and very pleasant. The Onsen is effective for muscle fatigue relief and improving skin condition. We would definitely like to visit again.

The meals are delicious, and you can relax in the lobby lounge while watching the sunset.

Rather than packing your schedule with sightseeing, this villa is perfect for those who want to slow down and simply enjoy being here. We stayed for a one-night, two-day trip with my parents and our beloved dog, Coco. This was our second stay, and once again, we were thoroughly impressed by the comfort and luxurious private atmosphere. Since it’s a fully private rental, we could relax as a family without worrying about others around us. The interior was very clean, with stylish and user-friendly appliances and kitchenware. The Facility also provided thoughtful amenities for guests with dogs, which was incredibly helpful. The spacious and chic villa made the entire stay feel truly special. Coco tried swimming in the pool for the first time! Seeing her happily swim brought smiles to all of our faces. In the evening, we enjoyed a BBQ with fresh meat and seafood—my parents were thrilled and said they’d love to come back again! It became an unforgettable trip filled with wonderful memories. For those looking to enjoy luxurious yet free-spirited moments with their dogs, I highly recommend this place. We definitely look forward to staying here again!

My spouse and I, both in our 50s, stayed for four nights with our dog. Since it was a late summer vacation, we were looking to relax, and we were able to spend a comfortable time with an ocean view and our dog by our side. The room had everything we needed, so we didn’t have to bring much. The provided cassette stove was very handy, and we could cook simple meals. The complimentary drinks in the evening were greatly appreciated. Nearby there’s a convenience store, Sasuke Shokudo (their fried horse mackerel set meal is great), and FISH where you can buy souvenirs—all within walking distance. It was also convenient that we could park right in front of the room. We’d love to stay again.

We stayed as a family of six. Check-in was smooth and not crowded, which was great. Our room faced the forest, but every time we used the elevator we could enjoy views of the ocean outside, which was a nice bonus. The room itself was spacious enough for all six of us to relax comfortably—perfect. My parents slept on futons and said they were even more comfortable than the ones at home; they kept saying they’d love to have them at home too. It was wonderful to be able to recover from travel fatigue. The meals were popular with everyone from kids to adults, with many dishes that suit a wide range of ages—excellent overall. In particular, there was a live-kitchen chicken liver sandwich-style item (I can’t remember the name) that was so delicious I went back for it about 10 times—thank you for the wonderful meal. The hot spring had a comfortable temperature, so even the children could soak calmly. The relaxing atmosphere of the lounge area also made it easy to unwind, and both parents and kids were very satisfied. What our family loved most was the indoor play area. There were several large tatami rooms where we could all enjoy table tennis, badminton, soccer, basketball, and more together. The tatami mats felt a bit old, but it didn’t bother us. It was also close to the dining venue, so we were able to use it often before and after meals. Since we stayed on the forest side this time, we’d love to try an ocean-side room next time. We stayed here again for our family trip to Uchibo. Although it was the rainy season, the ocean view stretching out in front of us was as wonderful as ever, and our family and dog were able to relax together.\nAs for meals, if you order a catered seafood set from a nearby restaurant after checking the menu, you can enjoy a luxurious dinner while taking in the stunning view.\nWe feel this is an Accommodation we can rely on and return to regularly.

We stayed with a group of eight. The Room was clean, and we could use the fireplace and have a campfire—an Accommodation we were very satisfied with! Responses to our questions were also quick. If I had to say one thing, it would have been nice if there had been a dishwasher. Next time, we’d like to visit in a warmer season.

The Room’s greatest highlight is the ocean view from the bath inside the guest room. In many places, the bathroom and Room are separate, but being able to step straight into the bath within the Room felt truly special and gave a wonderful sense of escape. There is also an outdoor sauna, making this stay feel far more unique than most other Facility options. Honestly, I didn’t expect that much at first, but having “my own private sauna” was even better than I imagined and left me feeling deeply refreshed in both body and mind. One small thing to note: because the sauna is outdoors, you need to pass across the balcony briefly. At that moment, you may occasionally make eye contact with people walking along the seaside, so it’s worth being a little mindful. Another personal favorite was the selection of books in the Room. It seems to vary by Room, which adds a small pleasure—wondering what kind of books will be there this time. There are no meals provided, but the extra-paid curry in the refrigerator was much better than expected and very satisfying. You can also purchase coffee beans and enjoy taking time to grind them and brew coffee—something I don’t usually do. Staying here wasn’t just about spending a night; it was time to engage thoughtfully with everyday acts like sleeping and eating. Because of its simple space, it naturally made me reflect on life itself—and what happiness means. It truly felt like a special place.

Two families with kids stayed for two nights. The terrace and lawn, where you can have the breathtaking satoyama views all to yourself, were simply incredible—we felt refreshed far beyond what two nights would normally allow. We’ve stayed at many private rental homes, but it was rare (and greatly appreciated) to find information about an on-site private chef on the property’s own website—it was the deciding factor for our Reservation. Being able to enjoy a meal in such a wonderful setting, combined with perfect weather, made this an unforgettable stay. Having access to a fire pit was also fantastic. The hill is indeed steep in parts (like some roads in Izu or Shimoda), but the steep section is short, and driving a typical sedan didn’t feel overly stressful. (It might be different with a wider or longer vehicle like a Jeep or van.) As for insects: I’m someone who can’t even stand seeing roaches and can’t clean up after them—but other than pests, bugs don’t bother me—so it didn’t concern me at all. We did use insect spray at times (I would have left them alone, but one of our friends dislikes bugs), and it was a freezing-type spray rather than one with insecticidal chemicals, which was another big plus. The interior was clean and comfortable, and we also liked how much storage there was in the bedrooms. Since it’s a traditional old house, the walls are thin (voices from the living room or tatami room carry into the bedrooms), and laying out futons in the tatami room is self-service. The kitchen equipment, plates, and wine glasses were well stocked in both variety and quantity. In addition to basic seasonings, it was convenient that leftover condiments from previous guests were kept in the refrigerator as-is. On the other hand, there’s no dishwasher; also, kitchen ventilation wasn’t great for our taste, and we found the dining area size/atmosphere—and especially the lighting—a bit too bright. Still, none of that compares to this one-of-a-kind location and how wonderful the terrace and garden feel.

We stayed here last year with our dog and loved it so much that we came back again this year. Our dog had the freedom to play in the garden dog run, and the BBQ while listening to the sound of the waves was amazing. The sunset was beautiful, and from the back door you can reach the beach in no time. We even received a souvenir when we checked out. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for one night with friends and family. The manager’s mother was very kind when we picked up the key, which made us feel at ease. They even prepared a welcome board with portraits of our dogs—it looked just like them, so cute, and it made us really happy. The garden is very spacious; as soon as we arrived, the dogs ran around, lay down on the beautiful lawn, and played happily. The house was also clean and roomy, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen for a BBQ. The dog-only bathroom and amenities were excellent—overall, the service was outstanding. We were able to spend a relaxing and luxurious time in the breezy living room and garden. We would love to stay again—thank you very much.

We were looking for accommodation for our family of five and one dog, and we found this place. Since we live in an area without the sea, both our family and dog were thrilled with the ocean right in front of us. The absence of a TV actually increased family conversations, and we felt closer through activities like Othello, card games, soccer, and badminton. The manager was very kind and attentive, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

There were several flies in the Room, and the shower drainage was slow, which was a bit concerning. It would have been better if insect repellent was placed in an easily noticeable spot! The atmosphere and location were excellent. Sunset Beach was breathtaking. The terrace bathtub kept the kids entertained, while adults could enjoy a relaxing BBQ. The large BBQ grill was very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A wonderful space where I could experience an extraordinary time. Upon entering the Room, I was greeted by a pleasant fruity scent. It was a lovely Room, clean and decorated with stylish accessories. I was feeling a bit peckish, so having cute donuts prepared was a thoughtful touch. In the evening, I enjoyed a barbecue using the barbecue kit set up on the outdoor balcony, with seafood I bought as the main dish! The view of the sea from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and I was able to spend a relaxing time watching the sunset. I definitely want to use it again!

We rented the entire accommodation for 8 adults this time. Although we were a bit unsure about staying in a private villa, as it was a new experience for us, the staff welcomed us on-site and explained how to use the sauna and bathroom facilities, which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay with peace of mind. While there are residential houses nearby, they are well-concealed by fences, ensuring privacy. Combined with the stylish interior design, it created an extraordinary atmosphere to enjoy. For 8 people, staying at a hotel would require booking two rooms; however, being able to stay together in one room at this private villa felt like a great option personally.
