I took a bus from Tokyo Station, got off at Highway Oasis Furari, and walked a little over 20 minutes. The road is somewhat difficult to walk on, but it’s not a busy street. Bath: Private-use only, with an indoor bath and an open-air bath as a set. It was clean, a comfortable size, and the water temperature wasn’t too hot—really nice. Room: Traditional Japanese-style. The futon was already laid out, so I relaxed and lounged around. There’s also a toilet and washbasin. I visited on a very humid day, so there was that distinctive tatami-room scent—nostalgic. And since there were shoji screens, I naturally woke up with the morning light. Meals: Absolutely amazing—just as rumored. Everything tasted great. It was my first time trying squid-leg croquettes, and they were delicious. Breakfast had lots of options too, and I ended up getting seconds of rice without thinking. The after-meal coffee was also excellent. The sea is close by as well; I went before breakfast and started the day feeling refreshed. Overall, this Accommodation is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy lots of fish dishes. Everyone greeted me with smiles, so I could relax comfortably and freely throughout my stay. The high ratings were well deserved—I’d love to come again.

Thank you for your very kind support, including answering our questions in advance, which made our trip truly comfortable. We were a little worried about the weather, but it was mostly cloudy, and even when it rained it was only a light drizzle, so we were able to enjoy the BBQ as well. The BBQ oven was set up just outside on the terrace under a roof, so we could use it with peace of mind. The Room was extremely clean, and all the amenities were stylish. There was also a washing machine, which was very convenient for doing laundry on site. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

We stayed as a family of six. Check-in was smooth, and we were glad we could complete it without any crowds. Our room faced the forest, but every time we used the elevator we could enjoy views of the ocean outside, which was wonderful. The room itself was fantastic—everyone in our group of six could relax comfortably. Our parents slept on futons and said they were even more comfortable than the ones at home; they kept saying they’d like to use them at home too. It was great to be able to recover from travel fatigue. The meals were popular with both kids and adults, with many dishes that appealed across generations. In particular, there was a live-kitchen chicken liver sandwich-style item (I forgot the name) that was so delicious I went back for it about 10 times—thank you for the wonderful meal. The hot spring had a comfortable temperature, so the children could soak calmly as well. The relaxing atmosphere of the relaxation room also helped us unwind, and both parents and kids were very satisfied. What our family loved most was the indoor play area. There were several spacious tatami rooms where we could all enjoy table tennis, badminton, soccer, basketball, and more together. The tatami mats felt a bit old, but it didn’t bother us much. Since it was close to the dining area, we were able to use it a lot before and after meals, which was great. This time we stayed on the forest side, so next time we’d love to try an ocean-side room. My spouse and I, both in our 50s, stayed for four nights with our dog. Since it was a late summer vacation, we were looking to relax, and we were able to spend a comfortable time with an ocean view and our dog by our side. The room had everything we needed, so we didn’t have to bring much. The provided cassette stove was very handy, and we could cook simple meals. The complimentary drinks in the evening were greatly appreciated. Nearby there’s a convenience store, Sasuke Shokudo (their fried horse mackerel set meal is great), and FISH where you can buy souvenirs—all within walking distance. It was also convenient that we could park right in front of the room. We’d love to stay again.

A luxurious, unhurried escape right in front of the sea. The private pool, sauna, and relaxation area were fantastic—an ideal space to enjoy without worrying about anyone around you. Spending time at a leisurely pace while taking in the ocean view was truly soothing, making it easy to forget everyday life and fully unwind. Rather than packing your schedule with sightseeing, this villa is perfect for those who want to slow down and simply enjoy being here. It was a wonderful villa—luxurious yet somehow calming—and a place I’d love to return to. Thank you!

We stayed here again for our family trip to Uchibo. Although it was the rainy season, the ocean view stretching out in front of us was as wonderful as ever, and our family and dog were able to relax together.\nAs for meals, if you order a catered seafood set from a nearby restaurant after checking the menu, you can enjoy a luxurious dinner while taking in the stunning view.\nWe feel this is an Accommodation we can rely on and return to regularly.

Two families with kids stayed for two nights. The terrace and lawn, where you can have the breathtaking satoyama views all to yourself, were simply incredible—we felt refreshed far beyond what two nights would normally allow. We’ve stayed at many private rental homes, but it was rare (and greatly appreciated) to find information about an on-site private chef on the property’s own website—it was the deciding factor for our Reservation. Being able to enjoy a meal in such a wonderful setting, combined with perfect weather, made this an unforgettable stay. Having access to a fire pit was also fantastic. The hill is indeed steep in parts (like some roads in Izu or Shimoda), but the steep section is short, and driving a typical sedan didn’t feel overly stressful. (It might be different with a wider or longer vehicle like a Jeep or van.) As for insects: I’m someone who can’t even stand seeing roaches and can’t clean up after them—but other than pests, bugs don’t bother me—so it didn’t concern me at all. We did use insect spray at times (I would have left them alone, but one of our friends dislikes bugs), and it was a freezing-type spray rather than one with insecticidal chemicals, which was another big plus. The interior was clean and comfortable, and we also liked how much storage there was in the bedrooms. Since it’s a traditional old house, the walls are thin (voices from the living room or tatami room carry into the bedrooms), and laying out futons in the tatami room is self-service. The kitchen equipment, plates, and wine glasses were well stocked in both variety and quantity. In addition to basic seasonings, it was convenient that leftover condiments from previous guests were kept in the refrigerator as-is. On the other hand, there’s no dishwasher; also, kitchen ventilation wasn’t great for our taste, and we found the dining area size/atmosphere—and especially the lighting—a bit too bright. Still, none of that compares to this one-of-a-kind location and how wonderful the terrace and garden feel.

We stayed here last year with our dog and loved it so much that we came back again this year. Our dog had the freedom to play in the garden dog run, and the BBQ while listening to the sound of the waves was amazing. The sunset was beautiful, and from the back door you can reach the beach in no time. We even received a souvenir when we checked out. We’ll definitely be back!

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed for one night with friends and family. The manager’s mother was very kind when we picked up the key, which made us feel at ease. They even prepared a welcome board with portraits of our dogs—it looked just like them, so cute, and it made us really happy. The garden is very spacious; as soon as we arrived, the dogs ran around, lay down on the beautiful lawn, and played happily. The house was also clean and roomy, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen for a BBQ. The dog-only bathroom and amenities were excellent—overall, the service was outstanding. We were able to spend a relaxing and luxurious time in the breezy living room and garden. We would love to stay again—thank you very much.

Almost everything we needed was provided, and we were able to stay very comfortably. The pool was a pleasant temperature even for this season, and the sauna was spacious and excellent! We also loved that we could enjoy an outdoor BBQ even on rainy days. A convenience store is within a 15-minute walk, so it was easy to pick up extra supplies. Although the villa is surrounded by nature, there were fewer insects than expected, which made it very comfortable. Overall, we were truly satisfied and would love to stay here again! However, one thing that bothered us was a damp laundry-like smell in the bedroom. It was quite strong from the moment we entered and felt a bit noticeable. If that could be improved, it would be even more comfortable. Other than that, the Facilities were well equipped and we had a wonderful time! Thank you very much!

It was a wonderful place. The cleaning was thorough in every corner. We often stay at rental villas because we have a dog, but while the rooms are usually clean, many places have gardens overgrown with weeds, making it hard to let our dog play outside. However, this accommodation had a well-maintained lawn in the garden, which was perfect. The staff were very kind and made us feel at ease. They even gave our dog a toy as a gift—such thoughtful hospitality! For those who enjoy fishing, there is also a fishing port nearby, so I highly recommend it. The BBQ area has a roof, so you can enjoy it without worry. The stars visible from the facility were incredibly beautiful as well. We would love to stay here again in the future. The facility was excellent, but there were issues with missing supplies and lack of management. - Despite being informed in advance that outdoor sandals would not be provided, they were available upon arrival after purchasing and bringing our own. - Water leakage from the air conditioner vent above the living room entrance. - Burnt-out light bulb in the living room floor lamp. - Poor drainage in the 2nd-floor bathroom, making it difficult to drain water smoothly. - No toilet paper or spare rolls in the 2nd-floor toilet. - Malfunctioning massage chair on the 2nd floor. - Complimentary water was stated as 500ml per person + one 2L bottle; however, for a group of four staying two nights, only eight 500ml bottles and one 2L bottle were provided. - No spare paper towels in the kitchen. - Insufficient towels provided overall. - Only a small amount of used olive oil available in the kitchen supplies. Attempts to contact via listed numbers resulted only in being told that confirmation with responsible staff would be needed without immediate answers—likely due to outsourcing management responsibilities—but stricter oversight is necessary as these issues inconvenience guests significantly.

It was incredibly spacious, stylish, and spotless—simply amazing! Since the BBQ area is covered, you can enjoy it without worrying about the weather, whether it’s sunny or rainy. The dog run is also huge—plenty of space even for large dogs to sprint around freely. There were a few clouds at night, so unfortunately we couldn’t see many stars, but on a clear night you should be able to enjoy a sky full of them. The neighboring houses are far enough away that you can truly relax without worrying about being seen. One downside is that, as noted in the instructions, the road leading to the Accommodation is quite narrow. It felt just barely manageable with our minivan. If you have a large vehicle or aren’t confident driving on tight roads, it may be difficult. It’s probably best to avoid checking in after dark or heading back out for supplies once you’ve arrived. Aside from that one point, this was an absolutely fantastic Accommodation! Highly recommended!
