We stayed with three family members and one dog. The Room was very clean, the private open-air bath was relaxing, and the meals were generous. If we have the chance, we would love to stay again.

We visited as a family with our older children and their friends, along with our younger child. The older kids enjoyed SUP in the sea and the sauna, while the younger one fully enjoyed the pool. Since we had several boys with big appetites, we had a BBQ dinner using ingredients we brought with us. The seasonings and cooking utensils were well stocked, so we were able to prepare and enjoy our meal without any inconvenience. All of the staff were incredibly kind, and unlike many other places there weren’t lots of small rules or restrictions. They also kindly accommodated our requests, which made our stay very comfortable.\nThe amenities were high quality (including N organic), and the hair dryer and hair care items were all from ReFa, which my older daughter and I happily used.\nIn the morning we could even see Mt. Fuji across the sea—the views were simply amazing—and our whole family had a wonderful time. The only downside was that at bedtime, on both the first and second floors, the emergency exit signs were bright and a bit dazzling, making it slightly hard to sleep. Still, everything else was so great that we would definitely love to visit again. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. If I could suggest improvements: I would be happy if there were a water dispenser. The inside of the microwave was broken. The kitchen stove heat was weak. Other than that, both the kids and adults were very satisfied. The pool was just the right size and we enjoyed it, and the sauna and cold plunge were easy to use. The view was great, and we had a really good time! We would like to visit again!

This was my third stay. I stayed in the same Room with a kitchen as last time. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. In the evening, we could see Mt. Fuji from the Room, which made my mother very happy. For dinner, instead of ordering the boat sashimi platter we had last time, we took out sushi and ate it in the Room. Dinner is served in your Room here, so you can relax without worrying about others. I wanted to take it easy in the morning, so I chose no breakfast. If you want a hearty breakfast, I recommend booking a plan with breakfast included.\nThe beach was quiet since it was before Obon. There were lifeguards on duty as well, so it felt safe. Unfortunately, perhaps because it was after 3:00 PM on the day we went, the beach huts were closed. It rained the next day, so we gave up on going to the beach—but students from some school were swimming even in the rain.\nI’d love to come back to Iwai for another beach trip next year too.

Upon entering, you’re greeted by a soothing aroma and the breathtaking oil painting “Mermaid on Earth” by Nanae Mitobe.

We stayed for a one-night, two-day trip with my parents and our beloved dog, Coco. This was our second stay, and once again, we were thoroughly impressed by the comfort and luxurious private atmosphere. Since it’s a fully private rental, we could relax as a family without worrying about others around us. The interior was very clean, with stylish and user-friendly appliances and kitchenware. The Facility also provided thoughtful amenities for guests with dogs, which was incredibly helpful. The spacious and chic villa made the entire stay feel truly special. Coco tried swimming in the pool for the first time! Seeing her happily swim brought smiles to all of our faces. In the evening, we enjoyed a BBQ with fresh meat and seafood—my parents were thrilled and said they’d love to come back again! It became an unforgettable trip filled with wonderful memories. For those looking to enjoy luxurious yet free-spirited moments with their dogs, I highly recommend this place. We definitely look forward to staying here again!

We stayed here again for our family trip to Uchibo. Although it was the rainy season, the ocean view stretching out in front of us was as wonderful as ever, and our family and dog were able to relax together.\nAs for meals, if you order a catered seafood set from a nearby restaurant after checking the menu, you can enjoy a luxurious dinner while taking in the stunning view.\nWe feel this is an Accommodation we can rely on and return to regularly.

If you love saunas, campfires, and quiet surroundings, this is the place to go. The sauna layout is very well designed. You can dive into the pool straight from the sauna, then relax either on a chair or in front of the campfire—perfect for unwinding. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and it would be even better if there were a vacuum cleaner available for longer stays. * Drinks are all-inclusive. There was a good selection and quantity, which we really appreciated! There’s also a 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, a supermarket, and a drugstore nearby, so you won’t have any trouble if you need anything.

Two families with kids stayed for two nights. The terrace and lawn, where you can have the breathtaking satoyama views all to yourself, were simply incredible—we felt refreshed far beyond what two nights would normally allow. We’ve stayed at many private rental homes, but it was rare (and greatly appreciated) to find information about an on-site private chef on the property’s own website—it was the deciding factor for our Reservation. Being able to enjoy a meal in such a wonderful setting, combined with perfect weather, made this an unforgettable stay. Having access to a fire pit was also fantastic. The hill is indeed steep in parts (like some roads in Izu or Shimoda), but the steep section is short, and driving a typical sedan didn’t feel overly stressful. (It might be different with a wider or longer vehicle like a Jeep or van.) As for insects: I’m someone who can’t even stand seeing roaches and can’t clean up after them—but other than pests, bugs don’t bother me—so it didn’t concern me at all. We did use insect spray at times (I would have left them alone, but one of our friends dislikes bugs), and it was a freezing-type spray rather than one with insecticidal chemicals, which was another big plus. The interior was clean and comfortable, and we also liked how much storage there was in the bedrooms. Since it’s a traditional old house, the walls are thin (voices from the living room or tatami room carry into the bedrooms), and laying out futons in the tatami room is self-service. The kitchen equipment, plates, and wine glasses were well stocked in both variety and quantity. In addition to basic seasonings, it was convenient that leftover condiments from previous guests were kept in the refrigerator as-is. On the other hand, there’s no dishwasher; also, kitchen ventilation wasn’t great for our taste, and we found the dining area size/atmosphere—and especially the lighting—a bit too bright. Still, none of that compares to this one-of-a-kind location and how wonderful the terrace and garden feel.

We stayed here last year with our dog and loved it so much that we came back again this year. Our dog had the freedom to play in the garden dog run, and the BBQ while listening to the sound of the waves was amazing. The sunset was beautiful, and from the back door you can reach the beach in no time. We even received a souvenir when we checked out. We’ll definitely be back!

I found this property while looking for a Room close to the ocean with an ocean view from the Room. The view, spaciousness, and cleanliness were all wonderful, and we also got to enjoy BBQ and the sauna—it was an amazing stay. Since I had mentioned in advance that we were staying for my girlfriend’s birthday, they arranged balloons for us on the day, and even prepared a bottle of white wine. She was truly delighted. The BBQ portion was far more than you’d expect for two people—we were completely satisfied. Both the vegetables and meat were delicious. There were also yakisoba noodles and marshmallows. It was great that we could use the hot plate outside as well. Since it was summer there were quite a few insects, but insect spray and repellent were provided, which we really appreciated. For the sauna, we could set the temperature ourselves, and we could also prepare a cold plunge bath right in front of it—so refreshing. Having men’s shorts and a women’s gown available was very helpful too. The self löyly was incredible. The Room felt open and airy with a perfect view, and the cohesive style—from the furniture to the wall art—was lovely. You can see the ocean from both the bath and the Room. You can see stars as well. It was so comfortable that it made me want to live here. That said, perhaps because pets are allowed, there were one or two spots where I noticed a slight odor. Checkout is at 11:00, which gave us plenty of time in the morning—we enjoyed our stay comfortably until the very end. Check-in is at 15:00; if it were possible to arrive a bit earlier it would be absolutely perfect (though I understand cleaning needs to be done). We stayed as a couple this time, but I think it would be great for larger groups too. We will definitely stay again—thank you very much.

The scenery from the garden and Room was truly beautiful. The only downsides were the water pressure in the shower room and unstable Wi-Fi, but everything else was perfect. Our family of five stayed here. We had been looking forward to it after seeing the photos at the time of Reservation, and when we arrived, the villa was even more wonderful than we imagined—we were truly delighted. It was very spacious and spotless, and our whole family was able to relax comfortably. We enjoyed watching the sunset while playing in the pool, and at night we took in countless stars and a beautiful night view—an unforgettable escape from everyday life. The kitchenware and cooking utensils were well stocked, and having both a washing machine and dryer was extremely convenient. We hardly felt any inconvenience during our stay. Everyone in our family liked it so much that we kept saying, “Let’s come back again next year,” making this a trip to remember. It was such a lovely villa that we would definitely like to stay again. This was my first stay. The Room was very clean and comfortable, which made it a great place to relax. I also enjoyed the BBQ dinner, as I could eat at my own pace. I recommend it because you can spend your time here slowly and peacefully.

Enjoy a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset over the ocean, and make the most of the sauna. The Room is clean, equipped with modern kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. Meals, such as shabu-shabu for dinner and hot sandwiches for breakfast, were absolutely delicious. In the evening, we watched two movies in the living room. We had a wonderful time unwinding and enjoying this lovely Room to its fullest. Our family even said, "We want to live here; we’re not going back," which shows just how comfortable our stay was. It’s such an amazing place that it makes us want to try staying in another building next time!

Room: The room and other facilities are old, but they have a charming atmosphere that added to the experience. Bath: Located in a separate building across a picturesque garden, the bath was delightful with excellent hot water. Meals: Mostly seafood dishes, including abalone sashimi. Everything was delicious and highly satisfying.

Having had a great impression last time, I decided to return after several years, and my positive feelings have only grown. First, the accommodation is impeccably maintained and cleaned in every corner, making for a very pleasant stay. This level of care is not easy to achieve. The meals are heartfelt and allow you to fully enjoy the bounty of the sea. Additionally, while the panoramic bath with an ocean view is not an onsen, it can be enjoyed in the morning as well and was spotlessly clean. The guest rooms and bedding are simple as it is a guesthouse, but yukata robes and bath towels are provided. It may not suit those seeking luxury ryokan services; however, for travelers looking for an enjoyable trip at a reasonable price, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

The beautiful weather made the sunset views even more spectacular. The amenities were excellent, and we enjoyed the sauna, pool as a cold plunge, and even had a family karaoke competition. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Everything was excellent overall. The location is right in front of the ocean, and you can walk to the beach. We enjoyed a luxurious stay with our dog. The BBQ ingredients were also very delicious. It would be nice to have lights by the pool and a microwave. We would like to visit again.
