It was our first time staying here. The ocean view from the Room was breathtaking. It was also great to watch the surfers having fun out on the waves. We brought two dogs with us, and they seemed to enjoy it as well. The staff were kind and helpful. Next time, we’d like to stay again with a two-meal plan. Thank you.

With a room-only stay, it’s comfortable to buy delicious fresh fish and vegetables at Inageya and Jokamachi Market in Otaki and enjoy them in your room.\nThe room is also spacious and comfortable.

Unfortunately, a typhoon was approaching, so it rained the entire time and we couldn’t go out onto the lawn or other outdoor areas, but the meals were delicious and the Room was spacious and relaxing. The staff were also very helpful, and we were satisfied.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. There are no nearby houses, and although we had heard that muntjac sometimes damage the fields, we enjoyed a salad made with freshly picked lettuce and herbs from those very fields. I was hoping to see a muntjac. The bamboo grove behind the property was beautiful.

About 25 years ago, I visited the Katsuura Morning Market with my children and had a great time, so I went again this time. This time it was the three of us: my wife, my mother-in-law, and me. Both Katsuura Beach and the morning market were close by, so the location was perfect. There was no large public bath—only an in-room bath (available 24 hours)—and it wasn’t an Onsen, which was a bit disappointing, but my mother-in-law was very satisfied. Dinner was Japanese-Western (French? Italian?), and I felt a little sorry for my mother-in-law, but she seemed happy with it, so all good. The photos include some taken while we were eating and even after we finished (lol).
