Getting to Enoura Observatory on a previous trip was difficult due to limited access, so I was a bit worried since it’s nearby. However, the careful pick-up and drop-off at the station put me at ease. I wanted to see the ocean, so next time I’ll request a Room with a better sea view. I thoroughly enjoyed the chef’s outstanding skill, the variety of tableware, and the beautiful presentation (and of course everything tasted wonderful) — it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. They also served rare local fish with superb knife work, and I was able to savor fish I had never seen before. The flavor truly comes through because of that precise technique. As I don’t eat much, I asked for smaller portions; it must have been difficult to prepare, but they accommodated me thoughtfully and I was able to enjoy the meal. I look forward to visiting again for the cuisine next time as well.

Meals were served in the Room, so we could relax without worrying about other dogs. The seasoning was excellent, and we enjoyed freshly cooked rice—it was truly delicious. The amenities were well stocked, and we were happy to have jinbei instead of yukata. Every staff member was friendly, and we had a wonderful vacation. We would definitely love to visit again.

The Room, room service, meals, and Onsen were all truly wonderful—we were completely satisfied with our stay! Thank you very much to all the staff. The pajama fabric was soft and very comfortable to wear, so I bought a set as a souvenir. I’d love to come back again as a treat for myself.

This was our second stay, and we visited as a family of five—my mother, my wife, and our two children. The service, meals, Onsen, and thoughtful attention to detail were all outstanding, and every member of our family was completely satisfied with the stay. Above all, seeing how happy my mother was made me especially glad we chose this Accommodation. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, we were able to relax together as a family and enjoy a comfortable time that became a wonderful memory. The hot spring water is simply outstanding. Meeting the friendly and kind proprietress is also one of the highlights. I’ll be back again later this year. Thank you for everything!

I found this place because I wanted to stay at an Onsen with my dogs. It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful trip. We were very satisfied. The Facility was impeccably well equipped, and the private pool and sauna made it even better. Hakone-Yumoto Station is within walking distance, so we could take a stroll to shop for souvenirs. If I have the chance, I would love to stay again.

Although the weather in Hakone was unsettled, we had a wonderful stay as always. From our scenic Room, the drifting clouds and mist felt truly magical. The meals were carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. Breakfast was also excellent, and we enjoyed an elegant morning while sipping a mimosa. In a relaxing and refined setting, we received excellent service and had a great stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Not only the building itself, but also the hanging scrolls and other details in the Room were wonderful, allowing us to spend a relaxing time while appreciating art and culture. As we stayed on a weekday, I mentioned at check-in that I was interested in the building, and the Accommodation staff kindly showed us several of Meijikan’s highlight Rooms. My parents and I were very satisfied. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. The in-room dining was also excellent, including freshly cooked white rice prepared right in front of us and abalone with a tender bite. We will visit again.

The view from the Room wasn’t great, but everything was clean and well maintained, so I had a very comfortable stay. The meals were delicious—almost too much food—but it was so good that I finished everything. I later learned that they can fold up the futon during breakfast, but I didn’t know and declined. I would have appreciated being told in advance. The staff were pleasant, and their service and manners were excellent. It was an Accommodation that made me want to come back again.

This was my first stay at Suishoen, and it was truly wonderful. For dinner, we happened to be offered an open slot, so they kindly changed our meal from kaiseki to teppanyaki. We chose teppanyaki, and it turned out to be absolutely the right decision. Watching the chef cook right in front of us was entertaining in itself, and each dish was carefully prepared—everything was genuinely delicious. Not only the meat, but also the seafood and vegetables were excellent, and we enjoyed every course without getting tired of it. The pacing of the meal was perfect, and the portions were just right—not too much or too little—so we could enjoy everything through to the end. Breakfast was also very luxurious with a great variety of dishes. Being able to enjoy such a substantial breakfast in the morning felt special, and it was a completely different kind of indulgent time compared with our usual mornings. Not only dinner but breakfast left a strong impression as well. The best part for me personally was the private Onsen in our Room. I could soak whenever I wanted and relax without worrying about anyone else, so I ended up using it many times. Having an Onsen in your Room really is unbeatable. The Ryokan had a calm atmosphere overall, and we were able to take things slowly throughout our stay. The staff were polite and attentive, responding pleasantly to everything we asked for. It’s an Accommodation I’d want to stay at again if I come back to Hakone. The only small issue was that my wife didn’t find the hair iron among the amenities suitable for her. That part was slightly disappointing, but aside from that we were very satisfied. Overall satisfaction was high across the food, Onsen, Room quality, and service—highly recommended if you want a luxurious place to unwind at a relaxed pace. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed here during the Obon holiday. Check-in was from 15:00, but we arrived around 13:00. When we asked to check in early, they kindly agreed without hesitation. After checking in, we told the Ryokan staff that we were heading out to sightsee around Yumoto Station, and they offered to take us from the Ryokan to Yumoto Station with a free Shuttle Service—much appreciated! The Room size, Facility features, and amenities were all excellent. We used the bath in our Room twice (morning and night), and also enjoyed both the large public bath and a private bath—four baths in total. The meals were outstanding in both quantity and quality. From the front desk staff to everyone we passed in the hallways, their warm smiles made our stay truly comfortable. A calm, adults-only atmosphere—classic Ryokan style with a luxurious touch. We will definitely stay again when we visit Hakone.

Although we only stayed for just under six hours on a day trip this time, it was a soothing space where we could relax and feel refreshed after a long time. The full-course kaiseki dinner was beautifully presented with a seasonal touch and was absolutely delicious. Next time, we would definitely like to return for an overnight stay.

We usually travel to the Hakone area a few times a year as a couple, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryuu” on our first family trip, which also included several celebrations. Although we have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, we have never encountered one as wonderful as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour earlier than the check-in time, but they welcomed us warmly. From a lovely commemorative photo for our celebration to a heartfelt message card with the photo attached, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are truly grateful that we were able to create so many unforgettable memories of our family trip. Thank you very much. What deserves special mention above all is the outstanding hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was exceptional, and we were able to spend our time at ease. Our assigned staff member was genuinely kind and always smiling; we enjoyed chatting with them, and our whole family was impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details. The guidance around the property—like a paradise filled with an extraordinary atmosphere—was also thorough, and everyone we met greeted us with smiles that put us at ease. The Room was very spacious and kept beautifully clean. The bed was comfortable for us—not too soft or sink-in—and ideal for a great night’s sleep. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations, so I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, there was an open-air Onsen bath exclusively for our Room with free-flowing water from 100% private source spring—no added water or heating—from the rare Dogashima Onsen spring often described as “legendary.” We could enjoy Onsen baths anytime we liked. In addition, there was an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, so our family could enjoy many different experiences together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care, filled with creative ideas and thoughtful touches from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand throughout our stay—the service felt perfect in every way. Based on all of our past experiences, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive. Above all else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryuu” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again soon.

We stayed here to celebrate my aunt’s 91st birthday. Just as the Reviews said, not only was the staff’s hospitality outstanding, but every Facility and service was truly top-class. For my aunt, who has difficulty walking, the barrier-free interior made it very comfortable. During our 2-night, 3-day stay, we didn’t step outside the Hotel even once—we simply relaxed and took it easy inside—and both my aunt and I were extremely satisfied. It was a wonderful Hotel that made us want to come back and also recommend it to friends. Thank you very much to all the staff!

I stayed at Hotel Okada for the first time, which I had been interested in for a while. The view from the Room was wonderful, and I was able to relax and unwind in the private open-air bath. I was also happy that I could freely enjoy the drinks in the Room’s refrigerator. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Walking from Hakone-Yumoto Station while browsing for souvenirs, then passing through the main street lined with shops, it was also a delight to reach the Accommodation while being soothed by the lush riverside scenery. The all-you-can-drink service during our stay was also great, with a wide selection including draft beer and sparkling wine. For dinner, we chose the seafood shabu-shabu Plan, and it came not only with several kinds of fish but also scallops and crab; there were plenty of vegetables as well, and everything was delicious. The other dishes were served in small portions so we could enjoy a variety of items, and they looked beautiful too—we enjoyed them very much. Breakfast was also colorful and wholesome, with steamed vegetables, grilled fish, rice accompaniments, and more—delicious food that felt gentle on the body. Neither meal felt lacking at all, but it also wasn’t so much that we couldn’t finish—just the right level of fullness. The Room was clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in. The view from the Room was green and pleasant as well, though artificial fencing made it slightly disappointing. The Onsen was comfortable in temperature and very relaxing in both the large public bath and the private bath. The ice pops after bathing were also a welcome service. All of the staff had wonderful smiles and were kind throughout our stay, making us feel very comfortable. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

My mother and I stayed for one night in August 2026. After we arrived, we were shown to the larger Room. We truly appreciated this unexpected kindness. The garden was beautifully maintained, and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time there. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were just right—not too much. The cuisine was classic and seasonal. After the bath, we went to the lounge, where there was a wonderful selection of art books and magazines, and the complimentary drinks were excellent. The mountain views and garden from there were so beautiful that they made us forget our everyday fatigue. The service felt just right—neither too close nor too distant. Since it was drizzling the next day, we were also grateful for the service of being driven to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. One suggestion: it would be even better if the labels for the shampoo and conditioner in the bath area were easier to understand (other older guests also seemed confused). I would love to visit your new Accommodation near Mt. Fuji as well. Thank you very much.

Our Room attendant was extremely attentive and had a great sense of humor! The meals were delicious, and both the Room and the open-air bath were wonderful!! It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and thank you very much for arranging the surprise cake and for all your thoughtful support!! She also said it was amazing and that she wants to come again! It turned into a truly fantastic trip—thank you so much!

The Facility was very clean and comfortable, and it felt like coming back to the countryside. The bath was private, and having meals served in our Room was wonderful. The futon was fluffy, and I slept soundly. The hostess had a calm, relaxed manner that put me at ease, and the hospitality was outstanding. Thank you very much.
