สถานีฮิตาจิโนะอุชิกุ × โรงแรม·เรียวกังที่มีการประเมินห้องพักและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสูง

Considering the price, this Hotel offers excellent value for money. The Room is compact but functional, with power outlets and USB ports by the bed—very convenient for charging a phone. The small table is also easy to use, and everything you need feels neatly organized. The bed is firm without sinking too much, which was great—I didn’t wake up with any lower back pain. Breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety, but everything was tasty and more than satisfying. There’s also a water dispenser available, which was very handy. This isn’t a Hotel for luxury, but given the Accommodation Fee, the Facility offerings are more than sufficient and its practicality is a real plus. If you want an affordable stay, this is a highly recommended Hotel.

I stayed here on a business trip. It wasn’t as small as I expected, and there was enough space to move around comfortably. The property isn’t new, but it was well cleaned. Above all, I appreciated the large desk and the effective air conditioning. The front desk staff were pleasant, and I had no issues with overall convenience during my stay. However, the complimentary drip coffee didn’t taste good, which was disappointing—but since it’s a free service, it can’t really be helped.

The Facilities were clean and well maintained, and I was able to stay comfortable throughout my visit. Breakfast was buffet-style, so I could take as much of what I wanted as I liked. The only disappointment was that the simmered eggplant and green beans tasted saltier than the other dishes, so I didn’t go back for seconds. I hope all dishes can be prepared with a lighter salt level. From check-in to check-out, the staff were very helpful, and the value for money was excellent. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you very much.

Excellent value for the price. Great deal.

Even though we arrived earlier than scheduled, the staff welcomed us with a smile, which was very helpful. There were only enough in-room amenities for one person, so we went to the front desk to request more, and they responded promptly. The room was clean and we were able to relax comfortably. Breakfast was scheduled in time slots to avoid crowding, so we could eat without congestion. The selection of side dishes was limited, but everything was delicious. We also appreciated that waffles were freshly baked and prepared for us.

Considering the Facility, amenities, and service, I felt it was exceptionally wonderful for this price—hard to find anything comparable. I would recommend it to others.

I stayed here on a business trip. As it is far from the station, I recommend coming by car. The hotel was very clean, and the room felt designed for families—spacious and comfortable, allowing me to relax during my stay. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

In a word, it feels like the kind of “signature Hotel” you’ll always find when visiting a regional city. The moment I stepped through the entrance, I could sense the weight of the building’s history in the air—and rather than simply feeling old, it seemed to speak to this Hotel’s dignity and prestige. The Facility itself clearly stands apart from modern Business Hotel chains; even with its age, you can tell it has been carefully maintained and cherished over time, and that same impression came through in the staff’s crisp, polished service. As others have mentioned, breakfast is served on the top floor, and enjoying breakfast while taking in the view was truly special. With Lake Kasumigaura visible in the distance, the thoughtfully prepared breakfast dishes felt distinctly different from an ordinary buffet. My visit to Tsuchiura wasn’t originally planned, but including a bonus stop on my way back where I was able to buy a large amount of “Patlabor” merchandise, I had a wonderful time overall.

I have stayed here several times. The on-site parking spaces are wide, so you can park with peace of mind. Parking fee: 400 yen. The amenities are POLA Aroma Ess Gold, the same brand I use, which I really liked. They are not provided in the Room; they are available for free in front of the front desk on the first floor. Breakfast also seems to offer more variety than other places. I will continue to stay here whenever I visit Tsuchiura.

Conveniently located with good access to various spots in Tsukuba City, and surrounded by convenience stores and supermarkets, this Hotel offers great convenience. The front desk staff and other employees were all very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked grilled fish. The guest room was clean; however, it was a bit disappointing that the air conditioning did not work effectively. I would definitely consider staying here again when revisiting Tsukuba.

This was my first time staying here. I was quite anxious because there didn’t seem to be many solo female guests, but there was staff at the front desk during check-in and they explained everything clearly, which made me feel very comfortable. One meal (a frozen meal) is included as a complimentary service, and I had it for breakfast the next morning. The Room has a clean white theme and felt very fresh—everything was spotless down to the corners. The bed was also very comfortable and I slept well. There are various amenities available at the front desk, which was very convenient. If I had to mention anything, when large vehicles passed on the road in front of the Hotel, there was slight shaking and some noise. However, earplugs are available at the front desk, so if you’re sensitive to noise, please pick them up at check-in. For what it’s worth, I couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms at all. Also, there were a lot of weeds near the entrance to the Hotel parking lot, making it hard to see cars coming from the right when exiting. I think it would be better if they trimmed them. Overall though, considering the value for money, service, and amenities, it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

Conveniently located for exploring Tsukuba Science City. The building, designed by Arata Isozaki, exudes high quality, and both the Hotel staff and the restaurant staff for dinner were excellent. The Plan includes not only breakfast but also dinner, which was delicious and impressive for the price. The recommended "Kiri Tsukuba" was also delightful. Having lived in the Science City in the past, staying at this once-admired Hotel (formerly Tsukuba Daiichi Hotel) was nostalgic and convenient for climbing Mount Tsukuba. The former pool area in the annex could be repurposed for multipurpose use, such as basketball practice during the day. (Even if nighttime use is restricted due to noise concerns, it would be great if it could be used for basketball during certain hours in the daytime.)

Thank you always to the front desk staff for your consistently kind and attentive service, and to the housekeeping team for creating such a clean and comfortable space. Thanks to all of you, we are always able to enjoy a pleasant stay.

I stayed at Tsukuba Sky Hotel for the first time for one night from Friday, September 18 to Saturday, September 19, 2026. The weather was great, and I could see the sacred Mt. Tsukuba right in front of me—the view was amazing. In the evening I had the Hotel’s special hot dog, and the next morning I enjoyed breakfast dishes such as simmered foods; everything was very delicious. I would like to stay again next year.

It was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay.

Second stay; even in a single Room, it’s spacious—old but clean—and the breakfast was delicious again.

I’ve stayed here many times. This time, I happened to get a better rate than usual. The Room was spacious, and both the bed and shower room were large and comfortable. I’ll stay here again.

This was my second stay. When business trips continue, I start to feel stressed and worn out from staying at large chain business hotels, but I really liked this place because I could relax here. The large public bath is especially great, with hot water, lukewarm water, and cold water available, so you can adjust it yourself and enjoy bathing—perfect for resetting a tired body. There is also a cool-down area, so you can feel refreshed after your bath before returning to your room. It feels like the building has been expanded over time; you have to go through maze-like corridors to reach the elevator. I got lost last time, but once you get used to it, it’s not a problem. There is also a cat cage in the corridor connecting the main building and the bath area, and just watching them is soothing. I would love to stay here again on my next business trip to Tsukuba City.

The Hotel is narrow, so there are only stairs and no elevator, which can be inconvenient. Having an elevator would be very convenient for guests with a lot of luggage.

It was very close to the station, so we could get in without getting wet in the rain. The Room was much larger than expected and very comfortable. The bath and toilet were separate, and the bath felt like a regular home bathroom, so it was relaxing. It was also nice to have a sofa in the Room. Breakfast was at a shop in the main building, so we had to walk a little, but it made for a pleasant stroll. The food was delicious, and the staff were kind.
