I think this Accommodation is perfect for a stay during the Gion Festival. I also enjoyed both the Italian and Japanese cuisine. Watching a maiko dance during my stay became a wonderful memory—thank you very much. It seems that, in exchange for opening the lounge, the drinks in the refrigerator have been limited to mineral water only. However, because the lounge has short opening hours, it was not very convenient. I usually stay at Hiramatsu-level Accommodations, but this was the first time I had to buy sparkling mineral water at a convenience store during my stay. That said, it is still a great Accommodation, and I would be happy to stay again.

I was deeply relaxed in this luxurious space where I could feel Kyoto in every detail. The bath also had a genuine herbal soak, letting me enjoy a truly indulgent Onsen-like experience. The amenities were well stocked, and the futon and pillows were fluffy, so I slept soundly. It was a wonderful trip that I thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely love to stay again. I live in Kyoto City and chose to stay here because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. It turned out to be an amazing stay that left me completely satisfied and thinking, “I definitely want to come back!” The charming yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my spirits the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt secure and luxurious. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it made me feel happy and relaxed right away. As for the Onsen—what a treat! I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning. I was especially happy with the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available for bathing until 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge, then took the rest back to my Room. Sipping it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply wonderful. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When I entered, the receptionist greeted me cheerfully, and then all of the staff inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” which instantly made me feel excited. Even though I was dining alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I stayed comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai dishes and detox water, I enjoyed trying many different items little by little. The service was also excellent; they quietly cleared empty plates each time I stood up, which felt smooth and pleasant. Before I knew it, I had been enjoying breakfast for a full hour. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory that I could visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This Hotel is like a hidden treasure—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen facilities and an outstanding breakfast that truly refreshes you. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

In addition to 24-hour lobby service with coffee and cold tea, we also enjoyed wine from 15:00 to 20:00 and shaved ice, which was a very thoughtful touch. The location was extremely convenient for getting anywhere, and since it’s right by Exit 1, we really appreciated not having to walk far to the station in the summer heat. We would definitely love to stay again.

Great location with easy access—close to both the station and the bus stop. Both the Facility and the Room are new and spotless. You can eat and drink in the lounge 24 hours a day, and there are plenty of board games that kids will love. The front desk staff also provided excellent service—nothing to complain about!!! I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Kyoto!! This time it was just my son and me, so it felt very spacious, but for a family of four it might be a bit tight. Next time we come as four, we’ll choose a suite room.

The station and a convenience store were both very close by, which was really helpful. The room felt more spacious than expected, with calming modern colors, and everything was very clean, making for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the wide selection of amenities available at the front desk. It’s rare to see corn soup among the drink options, and it was nice to have something slightly salty to choose from. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. I had booked a Plan without breakfast, but when I returned to the Hotel around lunchtime to pick up my luggage, I noticed they offered lunch. It came with salad, dessert, and coffee at a reasonable price, and I could enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace—it felt like a great deal. I’d definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

Kyoto was experiencing extreme heat day after day, but the time I spent at the Hotel and ShinPuhKan was very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my stay without overexerting myself. The breakfast in particular exceeded my expectations. Each dish was carefully prepared, and I could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was delicious, and it became one of the highlights of my stay. The location integrated with ShinPuhKan was also very appealing. During the hottest hours I relaxed at the Hotel, then once it cooled down I enjoyed walking around the area—overall a truly pleasant experience. All of your staff were warm and welcoming, and I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Kyoto. Thank you very much.

Thank you again for your hospitality. Just three stops from Kyoto Station and also close to Karasuma Oike, it’s convenient yet quiet and comfortable. There are complimentary drinks, and alcohol is available at certain times. I’d be even happier if there were some Kyoto-style tea as well! I’ll be back again!

I really appreciated that the Room was ready before check-in and I was able to enter early. Since it was a single Room, it felt small and a bit dated, but the bathroom was new, clean, and very comfortable to use. I was slightly concerned that the Wi-Fi connection was unstable. The location was convenient, and it was a warm and refined Hotel unlike chain Hotels, making my stay very comfortable. The French toast at breakfast was also very delicious. The front desk staff were helpful as well. I will stay here again.

Right after arriving, we enjoyed tea time with Sadaharu Aoki petit cakes and macarons. Just as the Reviews said, everything was delicious. The champagne at cocktail time was excellent, and the selection of snacks and dishes was even better than the Reviews suggested. Not only was the breakfast omelet great, but the ochazuke was also delicious. We would definitely like to visit again.

Although it’s part of the Hyatt group, there’s no excessive service, which actually makes it more comfortable. You bring necessary items such as toner and bath towels to your room from in front of the 1st-floor front desk, and I support this effort to reduce unnecessary waste. There is no dedicated parking lot, but there is a coin-operated parking area along the local road on the annex side. When loading and unloading luggage from the car, it was helpful that there was little traffic. The disappointing part is the coffee service. I use it every year when I stay, but there always seems to be some kind of issue—such as the machine not working properly or running out of milk. Overseas guests also seemed confused about how to use it. It might be better to switch to a simpler machine like those at convenience stores. I also feel sorry for the front desk staff having to deal with problems with the machine.

It had been a while since I last stayed at this brand’s Hotel, and I was satisfied. First, the location: it is convenient, yet not in a noisy area. The Room size, Facility features and amenities, and the staff’s service were all excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the hospitality—such as welcome drinks—was also great. The price was appropriate, and I feel I received an experience well worth it.

I was able to fully enjoy the Gion Festival. Last year I stayed at a Hotel near Kyoto Station, and getting around by subway was a hassle, so this time I chose this place near the Yamaboko-cho area. I had stayed here back when it was Mitsui Garden, so I already knew my way around and had a comfortable, stress-free stay. All of the Hotel staff were pleasant and greeted me with smiles. Just one thing: after the first night, housekeeping may have been missed—there was only a bag of towels hanging on the doorknob, and the trash bins in the Room were left as they were. Also, the loungewear and bath mat weren’t in the bag, so I went to pick them up myself. The next day, I proactively put out the trash bins and used towels into the hallway before going out. I wasn’t sure how the housekeeping system worked, but it was within what we could handle flexibly on our side, so it wasn’t an issue. For the Gion Festival, this is my only choice—I felt like it’s a Hotel I’d like to return to again next year. Thank you very much.

I’ve tried several nearby Business Hotels, but this Hotel offers the best value for the price, and it has recently become my regular choice. As others have mentioned, all the staff are pleasant and welcoming. Soundproofing is also decent. Personally, I like that there is a water dispenser on each floor (instead of complimentary bottled water), disposable slippers are provided, the shower water pressure is strong, and the roller shade plus curtains can completely block outside light (since I tend to wake up late). Also, while many Business Hotels have a 10:00 check-out time, this one is 11:00. I’d like to thank the staff for supporting such a comfortable stay.

The Room was spacious and provided a relaxing space where I could forget my busy work schedule right up until the day before. Thank you very much.

I stayed at the end of February. There was a courtyard inside the room, allowing me to experience the atmosphere of Kyoto while staying indoors, which was a special experience. This time it was a short stay, but next time I would like to take my time and enjoy it more.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Our trip was almost entirely centered around staying in this house, and the more we looked at the interior design and furnishings, the more we noticed—so it was really enjoyable. However... The floors and tables were very clean, but we found hair inside the hair dryer storage case in the bathroom, and also hair and dust inside a kitchen utensil drawer. I couldn’t see clearly, but it also seemed like there was something above the toilet ceiling (a bug? a clump of dust?). There was also something like a piece of packing material left in the garden. Since it’s an entire house, I imagine it’s quite difficult to keep everything perfectly clean. Because the building itself is something you want to admire, you end up looking closely everywhere and noticing these things. It didn’t cause major discomfort, but I do think paying closer attention to small details would make the stay feel much more pleasant.

The front desk staff were very courteous, so I had a very pleasant stay. When I arrived, I was irritated by the heat, and I feel sorry for having acted that way. The Room and other areas were well cleaned, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable.

Located in a quiet area, it was a relaxing stay. I was worried about finding parking, but there were several parking spaces nearby. The Room was spacious enough for resting, and with the bath and toilet being separate, I could enjoy soaking in the tub. However, due to insufficient checking of amenities, I had to go out to buy items like body towels and lotion. It would be good to check these in advance. Since I visit Kyoto regularly, I would like to stay here again.

Thanks to the Diamond member benefit allowing us to stay until 1:00 PM, we were able to relax and take our time. The amenities and drinks were well stocked, and everything was comfortable with no inconvenience. The bath had strong water pressure and filled up quickly, which was a nice plus since there was no stress from waiting. Breakfast was delivered to our Room, so we could enjoy it slowly without worrying about others. However, it tended to cool down a bit over time, so better heat retention would make it even nicer. Also, the table in the Room was a little low, making it slightly difficult to eat comfortably. Those were the only minor points—overall, it offered great value for money and we were very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely like to use it again.
