I’d heard the breakfast at Hotel Hokke Club was good, but it was surprisingly delicious. The menu was full of local specialties, including mentaiko, motsunabe, and fried chicken seasoned with ago-dashi. The Japanese dishes were especially excellent. There was also a great selection of drinks—I’d never stayed at a Hotel that offered almond milk. I made an almond milk latte with espresso, just like a Starbucks-style drink. Beyond the meals, the front desk staff were kind and helpful, and they took great care of us when storing our luggage after checkout. A very satisfying stay at this Hotel.

When I was looking for a Hotel in Hakata at the end of my Kyushu trip, I made a Reservation because it seemed to be in a convenient location. It turned out to be the right choice—the location is excellent and made it easy to get anywhere. Tenjin, Yakuin, and Nakasu are all within walking distance. There are also convenience stores, a supermarket, and drugstores nearby. The Room was more than spacious enough, with plenty of space for luggage such as suitcases. The double-sink vanity area was also very practical and easy to use. When I visit Hakata again, I would like to stay here again.

This is my favorite place for both business and leisure, and I’m a repeat guest. This time I stayed with my second son. Even though I was on crutches, you kindly held an umbrella for me and saw me off until the very end. I’ll be back again once I’m feeling better. Thank you very much.

Despite being in the midst of Tenjin’s urban bustle, I was able to spend a serene time that felt like a different world. I was highly satisfied with everything from the hospitality and Facility to the amenities and dining. This stay reaffirmed for me the essential value of Hotel service: forgetting everyday life, relaxing, and recharging for tomorrow. In particular, the “perfectly balanced sense of distance” in the service throughout the Hotel and the pleasantly unpretentious atmosphere were truly comfortable. As one of Fukuoka’s premier luxury hotels, it isn’t an experience I can have often, but it left a lasting impression and is a Hotel I would love to stay at again someday.

This was my first stay, and the hotel’s convenient location near the station, the late-night curry, and the excellent breakfast were especially appreciated for a business trip. It’s also close to Nakasu’s yatai food stalls and Tenjin, making it easy to get a feel for the local atmosphere—great for conversation topics during business meetings.

I had only known Hotel Okura Kobe, but since this was my first trip to Hakata, I chose Hotel Okura Fukuoka. The service and housekeeping were excellent, and access from the Shinkansen station was easy to understand and very convenient. As someone unfamiliar with the area, I truly appreciate the female staff member who kindly showed me on a map where to find delicious ramen and answered my questions with a smile. It immediately put me at ease, and I felt glad I made this Reservation. I couldn’t stop by the basement brewery due to time constraints, but a male staff member also kindly informed me that I could buy beer at the shop. Having stayed at inexpensive Business Hotels near stations before, I was reminded how valuable local tips and guidance gained through genuine conversation can be—and how they become part of your travel memories. To everyone at Hotel Okura Fukuoka, thank you for giving me such wonderful memories.

The view from the lounge was wonderful, and the mentaiko rice crackers provided were also very delicious. The Room was new and comfortable, but the bathtub was a bit small. One inconvenience was that from the elevator entrance on the first floor, you have to go up to the top floor first before you can access other floors. This may be for safety reasons. I would also like to express my special thanks to the staff member who arranged my courier shipment. They carefully confirmed every detail one by one, which made me feel very reassured. I sincerely appreciate their kind and attentive service.

As always, we had a relaxing stay. No matter how many times we visit, the service from the front desk and restaurant staff is consistently excellent. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr./Ms. Y from the reservations team for kindly accommodating our various requests in advance. We will stay again.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay. When I asked to leave my luggage before check-in, you kindly accommodated my request, which allowed me to go about my plans with peace of mind. The moment I stepped into the Hotel, I was enveloped in a refined yet glamorous fragrance that instantly made the experience feel special. All of the staff were impeccably presented, with polished manners and elegant language. Every interaction felt delightful and memorable. The Club Lounge presentations were all excellent. In particular, the Pasha coffee served at afternoon tea and the specially paired sweets were exceptional—I truly enjoyed a luxurious and uplifting time. I also stopped by the bar before bed, where the bartender created one original cocktail after another tailored to my preferences. It felt like being in a dream. In my room, I initially found the shower controls a bit difficult to use, but when I contacted you, a staff member came right away and explained everything clearly, which was very helpful. Above all, the bed was more comfortable than anything I have ever experienced, and I slept wonderfully. Thanks to you, it became an unforgettable trip. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I was also working remotely during my stay, and I truly appreciate your consideration regarding the cleaning schedule. The Room layout was ideal for remote work as well. Also, some Business Hotels recently have very small closets, but yours had ample space and was perfect for a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much.

It’s a short walk from the station (bus stop), but I think it’s an easy distance to walk. The Room had everything we needed, and it was wonderful that drinks and light snacks were available until 10:00 pm. The snack cakes were delicious. All the staff were courteous and helpful, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

This is my favorite Hotel that I always stay at least one night when traveling to Fukuoka. The rooms feel a bit small, but they are clean and the location is very convenient. The view from the open-air bath in the large public bath was great, and I was very satisfied again this time. During this stay with my baby, they even prepared adorable baby amenities, which made me very happy. I truly appreciate such thoughtful attention to detail. Although the breakfast selection seemed slightly reduced compared to a few years ago and was a bit disappointing, it is still an excellent Hotel overall that makes me want to stay again.

This was my second consecutive week staying here. It’s a bit far from Hakata Station and Tenjin, but it’s still within a 20-minute walk, so it was acceptable. The Facility feels a little old overall, but it was well cleaned and comfortable. The large public bath was spacious, and there was also a sauna, so I could relax after work and recover from fatigue.

I stayed for one night on a business trip with breakfast included. Some newer hotels in the same price range may be clean and modern, but their streamlined, cost-cutting approach can feel a bit impersonal. Hotel New Otani truly lived up to its reputation—both the service and the breakfast reflected the pride of a long-established hotel. Being welcomed with an in-person check-in after a long journey was genuinely comforting, and the carefully prepared breakfast—more like dining at a traditional Japanese restaurant—was a completely different experience from the typical crowded buffet venue, offering a peaceful start to the day. This time I was shown to a room on the top floor. While some aspects do feel slightly dated compared with newer international hotels, the calm furnishings and well-stocked amenities (coffee, skincare items, etc.) were very satisfying. Also, having a Japanese restaurant on the same floor as my room—and being able to have breakfast there—was excellent, as it spared me from having to wait for elevators. One small point: I also used the parking lot. Although I received a discount card at check-in, I was still charged when exiting. It’s possible I missed part of the explanation at check-in, but I would have appreciated knowing in advance how much the discount would be and how much I would need to pay upon exit. That said, thank you very much for your warm hospitality. I would gladly stay again.

Breakfast offered a great variety, and the cute tableware made it even more enjoyable—it was delicious. Also, from 5:00 PM you can enjoy free-flow drinks in the lounge, which made it excellent value for money.

The Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, which was great. However, in the large public bath, while some foreign guests were soaking in the tub, they left bath items and locker keys at the washing stations so others could not use them. When I tried to use one, they got out of the bath and told me—using a foreign language and gestures—that I was not allowed to use it. All of the washing stations were occupied by foreign guests for a long time, so several people besides me had to wait for quite a while. I stayed for two nights, and it was the same both days, which made going to the public bath stressful. The Hotel was clean overall—the Room was spotless and breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. I also appreciated the late-night soba and the complimentary ice cream after the bath, and it was great to have an Onsen as well. It made me want to stay at other Dormy Inn locations too.

I stayed here to see a show at Canal City Theater. It was very convenient, just a short walk away. The interior was modern and clean, with a pleasant feel. The room size was more than sufficient for the price, and having a large public bath was a great plus. They also provided a bag for going to the bath—minimal yet thoughtfully attentive service. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, and even the mini tonkotsu ramen came in its own bowl and was delicious. It’s always nice to enjoy local specialties!

Conveniently located near Tenjin Station with easy access from the airport and Hakata Station. Nakasu is just a quick taxi ride away, and because it’s a bit removed from Nakasu, it’s quiet at night. The bathroom has a washing area, so I was able to relax. Amenities are not provided in the Room and are available at the front desk. Since there is a larger bathtub, it would be even nicer if bath salts (Onsen-style) were included among the amenities. Like many Hotels these days, there was no daily sheet change or Room cleaning. Breakfast was good with local ingredients, but for a Multiple Night Stay I wished there were a few more menu options. Also, it would be nice to have paper coffee cups so guests can take coffee from the breakfast area back to their Room.

Although it is a bit far from Hakata Station and Tenjin, the free Shuttle Service to the subway and Nishitetsu train stations was convenient. The view from the Room is great, and it is quiet. The Onsen in the large public bath also felt smooth on the skin. Next time, I would definitely like to dine here.
