This was my first stay, and the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The in-room bath and open-air bath were wonderful and felt amazing. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, and I was full and satisfied—it was delicious. I’d love to visit again.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

This year, at my wife’s invitation, I stayed here for a birthday trip for my son and myself. Compared with a year ago, there were more international staff members, but I could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] Chef’s Selection featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delicious—we were very satisfied—and the other dishes were also creative and excellent. The Room was the Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was easy to use, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I was able to enjoy it almost all to myself, which felt wonderful. I am always extremely satisfied with my stay every year; however, this time I noticed two things: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu did not have the usual impressive flavor I remember, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room feels quite old and does not function fully. Since I would like to continue staying here in future years as well, I appreciate your continued support. Thank you very much.

Whenever I visit Mie Prefecture, I always choose Todaya for my Accommodation. The Room is clean, and the Onsen is wonderfully relaxing. The meals are so plentiful and high-quality that I can’t eat another bite! Above all, the staff’s attentiveness and hospitality are perfect. I’ll be staying again next year. I’m already looking forward to it.

Each time we experienced your warm smiles and refined service, we felt deeply happy and thought, “We’re so glad we chose to stay here.” I was truly moved by what can only be described as a “happiness-producing Hotel” that brings smiles to guest after guest. What makes your Hotel so exceptional is your challenging spirit—never settling for the current appeal, but always striving to create new moments of inspiration. As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Donguri Captain”—please allow me to share a few ideas with heartfelt appreciation: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge is truly special. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more memorable experience. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic and welcoming game arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where both adults and children—across generations—could have an amazing time together! 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer. Having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests throughout the year and generate even more buzz—I’m confident it would be a great success. Of course, I fully understand that your staff’s working environment and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you might keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of “how wonderful it would be if this became possible.” With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your entire team—I truly believe you will continue to be the region’s undisputed number-one Hotel. At dinner, the proprietress came to speak with us, and when we mentioned our 30th wedding anniversary, she gave us a wonderful handwritten gift that truly moved us. We were so happy. We have it proudly displayed at home. The unexpected present became a very special memory.\nThe views from the Room and the dining area were exceptional as well.\nAt breakfast, we also had the chance to chat with a staff member from our hometown. We were touched by everyone’s kindness and thoughtfulness.\nIt was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Thank you very much. We hope to visit again someday.

The sound of the ocean waves is very soothing at this Hotel. The sea-facing Room offers an amazing view. There are four dog runs—indoor, rooftop, pool area, and next to the parking lot—allowing small dogs to play together a lot, which was very satisfying. The dinner kaiseki cuisine was incredibly delicious. Enjoying drinks and relaxing while our beloved dogs had their meals made for a truly happy time. This is definitely a place we would like to visit again. Thank you!

I chose to stay nearby on purpose so I could relax. Overall, I was very satisfied. I think it’s a wonderful, calming Accommodation. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, with local specialties included so we never got bored. The bath was great as well, and I was able to unwind at my leisure. Since the building is old, there were a few areas that caught my attention, and I think an auto-lock would be better for the Room key. Because our meal time was late, there were food crumbs and some moisture on the floor around our seats, which felt unclean and was a bit disappointing. Also, personally, I might feel more comfortable in samue rather than yukata. I’d also like the in-room amenities to be a bit more complete. Despite these comments, I would definitely like to stay again in other areas as well.

Due to a major incident in the morning, our arrival was significantly delayed, and we caused you a great deal of inconvenience. We had even assumed we would have to wait until the next morning since we arrived after bath hours, but you accommodated us so flexibly, which made us truly happy. We are deeply grateful for the kind consideration shown by all the staff. Thank you very much. Next time, we would love to enjoy your delicious dinner as well.

We stayed for three nights during Golden Week. The building is quite old, so the kids were surprised when we arrived, but the Room was clean and the staff were very courteous, so we felt comfortable throughout our stay. There are many places within walking distance from the Accommodation that you can visit with children, and it’s also very convenient—only about a 15-minute drive to the Ise area! We’d love to stay again if we have the chance. I gave 4 stars for the guest room because the door opens inward and there isn’t much space, so with shoes for five people left by the entrance, it was hard to open and close the door. It made going in and out of the Room a bit of a hassle… some guests might find this frustrating.
