We stayed here for our elementary school-aged daughter’s birthday trip. She requested a buffet, so we looked for a place with a menu that both kids and adults could enjoy, and this is where we ended up. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes featuring local ingredients, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Not only that, but check-in and check-out were smooth, the welcome service was excellent, and the playroom—clean and well stocked with plenty of activities—was always lively with guests. The Onsen was slightly lukewarm, which was perfect for our family since we don’t like very hot baths. The staff kept a comfortable distance; there wasn’t much small talk, but whenever we asked something they responded very politely, which made our stay pleasant. The next day we took a walk through Sosenkyo Gorge right in front of the hotel. It was easy to access, and we were able to enjoy ourselves even after checking out. Thank you very much. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that the parking lot felt small for how busy it gets; when larger cars line up, getting in and out can be difficult. It would be even more comfortable if it could be expanded or improved.

We stayed as a family. The property had a calm atmosphere, and the sense of privacy—being able to relax without worrying about other guests—was truly comfortable. Both the guest room and the facilities were very clean, so we could unwind with our child with peace of mind. What we loved most was that the open-air bath in our room was fed by natural hot spring water. Without having to go to the public bath, we could enjoy Yamashiro Onsen whenever we liked. The room layout was also very family-friendly: even with our luggage spread out it never felt cramped, and it was helpful that the sleeping area and relaxing area were nicely separated. Breakfast was just the right amount, and each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. It made for a pleasant start to the day. This is an inn I would highly recommend for families who want to enjoy hot springs without any hesitation. We would love to stay again as a family.

This was my second stay, and it was great again. The Room is functional, and the amenities—shampoo and conditioner included—smelled wonderful and left my hair feeling amazingly smooth. Of course, there’s such a wide variety of food that you can’t possibly try everything, but the shrimp tempura was perfectly fried—not overdone—and incredibly delicious. I could eat as much medium-fatty tuna as I wanted and was completely satisfied. Everything else, like the steak and seafood, was also excellent. But the best part, just like last time, was how pleasant all the staff are. The front desk team and the dining staff were all warm and welcoming, and it felt great to see how much they genuinely want guests to enjoy themselves—and how much they seem to enjoy their work too. That’s why it’s still so good!! I’d love to stay again.

Sorry for the late review, but we had such a wonderful stay that I wanted to share it. The staff were incredibly kind, and that alone made us feel we chose the right Hotel. In particular, during meals (the buffet), the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made dining truly pleasant. Of course, the food was delicious as well. The shop staff were also very welcoming. Even though it was close to closing time, we never felt rushed, and I enjoyed shopping in a relaxed way while chatting with them. As for the Facility, there was a drink bar just outside the bath area, and it was great to be able to sample small amounts of various alcoholic drinks such as beer and shochu. Our family of five stayed here, and every one of us was satisfied. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking such great care of us the other day. The Room and meals were excellent in every way. We were especially impressed by the all-crab feast. We were very satisfied with the many delicious dishes, including medium-fatty tuna (chutoro). We look forward to visiting again with our family to enjoy another Premium tour.

Both the Room and the bath were clean, and the staff provided pleasant service, making our stay very satisfying. Thank you very much.

Free drinks at the lounge corner, the manga corner, sauna, stone spa, and buffet were all enjoyable. The showerhead in the bath was positioned high and angled, making it difficult to wash my hair without holding it, but I was satisfied with the water pressure and mist. I would like to stay at other hotels in the same group as well.

Families who have actually stayed here have given feedback like the title, so I’m glad I recommended it.

I really wanted to stay at a three-star buffet Accommodation, so I chose this one. The food was delicious—above all, the sashimi was excellent. I ate way too much sushi as well. I also fully enjoyed the seafood grill, especially the abalone and other items that are hard to come by in everyday life. The Hotel Facility is old, though. But since I came for the meals, it wasn’t an issue. I mistakenly thought it was a premium Accommodation, so it was disappointing that there were no soft drinks. At dinner, I added an all-you-can-drink option for about 2,500 yen, so I was very satisfied. It was supposed to be Airweave bedding, but I didn’t find it particularly comfortable to sleep on.

I didn’t have high expectations because there were many negative Reviews, but the service was excellent and the food wasn’t nearly as bad as people said. For ¥10,000 per night with two meals included, I was very satisfied. It’s true there weren’t many seafood options, but there was a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes—I couldn’t try everything. The baths were under renovation and operated on a rotation system, so I couldn’t fully relax, but I’d like to stay again.

The Facility was clean, the service was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing, it would be great if the grilled fish at breakfast could be deboned, as there was not much edible portion.

It was great that I was able to find an Accommodation in Yamanaka Onsen, considering the rental car parking, my husband’s Accommodation, and a place for me to take a nap while I was on the KAGASPA Trail with him. Check-in was from 15:00, but you kindly let me in early so I could rest—thank you. Since I didn’t have time to enjoy the Onsen or anything else, I’m sorry that I can’t really share much feedback.
