If you’re not good with bugs, I think a Hotel might be better, but I highly recommend this place for group trips! You can also have a BBQ, and it’s spacious and feels very open! There’s also a dryer, so we could wear our clothes again the next day and pack lighter! Personally, I thought it was great!

I had some business nearby and only returned to sleep without meals, but I stayed for two nights. The bedroom had a calming wooden feel, and it was nice to feel like returning to an apartment. The surroundings were quiet and not bothersome, allowing for a good night's sleep. The Room and bathroom were clean, providing peace of mind during use. The amenities were simple, but coffee was available, and everything necessary was well-provided. It was my first time in Okinawa, but thanks to this Hotel, I had a great time. Thank you!

Close to the sea and local shops, it was a joy to stroll through the quiet village and truly relaxing. Dinner—appetizers, Agu pork shabu-shabu, and zenzai for dessert—was all delicious. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The warm smiles of the owner and his mother (?) made it even more special, turning this into an unforgettable trip. I fell in love with Ikei Island. I’d love to visit again someday.

I stayed with my brother's family. The Room had two bedrooms and one tatami room, and one of the tatami rooms and bedrooms was a connecting room separated by a door, so we could watch over the children sleeping alone with peace of mind. Additionally, there was a jacuzzi on the terrace, and although we used it on the coldest day in December, the children were having a great time with maximum excitement (laughs). The living room on the second floor was spacious, and even with eight people, it didn't feel cramped, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. Also, it was convenient to have bathrooms and toilets on both the first and second floors. Personally, the most helpful feature was having a washing machine and dryer. The gas dryer, in particular, was very convenient as it allowed us to quickly take care of the children's clothes without taking much time. Basic appliances were provided, but since there were no pajamas, it might be a good idea to bring your own (as indicated on the site). The surroundings were quite empty, and although it was along the road, we were able to spend our time relatively quietly, allowing the adults to relax while the children had a great time playing on the terrace and in the spacious living room. My brother's family also expressed their gratitude, so I was glad we stayed. Since it can accommodate a large group, I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

Our three-generation family of six stayed for two nights. The property was still new and spotless, with an ocean view and plenty of space—great for the kids to spread out, and relaxing for the adults as well. We had a very comfortable stay. It wasn’t too far from the airport, and there were lovely cafes nearby as well as American Village, which made it very convenient.

We stayed for four days. From before check-in, throughout our stay, and at check-out, the staff were extremely courteous and attentive. The Room was clean, and above all, we were very happy that the gas dryer dried our laundry quickly. It’s also close to American Village, and we walked there. We would love to stay again. We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. The toilet and bath were separate, there was a steak restaurant next door, and a convenience store across the street. Behind the Accommodation, there was a fishing port and a small park, and we were pleasantly surprised to find earplugs among the amenities. The elevator “Open” button didn’t work well, so we had to stop it with our foot. There was a step between the Room and the (spacious) bath area, but they kindly stacked mats as a temporary fix, which really helped. The faucet at the sink in the bath area was stiff. There was no washing machine. There were some drawbacks, but everyone was very kind to us.

This was my second stay, and it was so comfortable that I wished I could have stayed longer. I will visit again. Having a convenience store on the first floor was fantastic!

It was a very lovely accommodation. My adult daughter was delighted. However, when I put the accommodation's towels in the washing machine, there were a lot of mold-like residues attached. There was water left in the coffee maker's water tank, and ice from previous guests remained in the freezer. These three points are related to hygiene, so I hope they can be improved as I don't want such a wonderful accommodation to receive lower evaluations. I look forward to staying again, so please take care of these issues!

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

The view, Facilities, location, and cleanliness were all excellent. I really appreciated the thoughtful items prepared in the Room. Since I did a workcation, it was also great that there was a vacuum cleaner even though housekeeping didn’t come in—so I could clean whenever I wanted without worrying about timing. Things I was glad to have: ・Vacuum cleaner ・Rice cooker ・Electric kettle ・Washing machine, dryer, and detergent ・Plastic wrap ・Dish soap and sponge ・Separate trash bins for sorting and extra trash bags ・A sufficiently large refrigerator ・Microwave ・Dishes, cutlery, pots, frying pan, scissors, knife, cutting board, dish rack/drainer basket, spatula/turner, ladle, whisker/frother tool?, bottle opener (etc.) ・Shampoo, conditioner, body soap ・Power outlet by the bed ・Plenty of outlets overall ・Plenty of hangers Location It’s easy to get here by local bus from Haneda Airport or Kokusai-dori—get off at Ihe Bus Stop and it’s right there. You can also take a shuttle bus from the nearby Radiant Hotel. It’s a perfect walking distance to American Village; the route is along the seaside with clean paved paths so it feels great. There’s a large drugstore nearby as well as FamilyMart and a bakery; if you walk a bit farther you’ll find AEON and San-Ae supermarkets and cafés open from around 7 a.m. There are also car rental shops within walking distance—so we took the bus from Naha Airport and only rented a car when we wanted to go farther out. View Because I spent a lot of time in the Room during my workcation, I insisted on an ocean-view Room on a high floor—and that was absolutely the right choice. The main view is of the port area. You can see Chatan fireworks when they go off. Cleanliness Everything was very clean—including the kitchen and water areas—so it was comfortable to use them throughout my stay. Next time I’d love to visit with my whole family. A repeat-guest discount would be nice—and it would be even better if there were an option for pricing per room as well.

I stayed in a room with a double bed. It was very spacious! The TV was large, and I enjoyed watching Netflix. The room had a washer with a dryer, which was very convenient. For Multiple Night Stays, it seems cleaning is not provided, so guests need to take care of trash disposal and bath towels themselves.

Over the New Year holiday, my parents-in-law and we as a couple traveled all the way to Okinawa and stayed for 2 nights as a group of four. The check-in and check-out terminal操作 was smooth. During our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy quality family time. We bought ingredients at a supermarket and cooked in the Room kitchen, and there were more than enough cooking utensils and tableware—nothing to complain about. My parents-in-law were also very happy, so I’m glad we chose this place to stay. We’d love to stay here again when we have the chance.

We stayed as a family. It was about a 5-minute walk to the American Village. The property had 3 Rooms, allowing everyone to have their own relaxing time. There was also a convenience store right behind the property. In addition to the bathtub, there was a separate shower room. There were also two toilets. Even with 5 people staying, we had no issues at all.

Stayed for 2 nights with a family of 6. A clean, spacious, and affordable Room with nothing to complain about. Two toilets, washrooms, and bathrooms are great! (One bathtub) There are also 2 bedrooms, and in addition, a Japanese-style room (can lay out 3 futons). The layout is good and the table is lovely. Within walking distance to American Village. Convenient store next door. It was a very nice place. Very satisfied.

Following last year, we stayed again this year for a Multiple Night Stay. It feels less like staying in Okinawa and more like living there, which is wonderful. The complimentary can of jasmine tea per night is very convenient. After I mentioned in the Review section last time that the first-floor bed springs were too firm, it had been improved this time, which I really appreciated.

I was completely satisfied as my top priority when choosing a Hotel is to avoid any unpleasant experiences! The staff were very kind and natural, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful stay. Since it was the middle of my trip and I had accumulated laundry, having a washing machine and dryer in the Room was incredibly helpful. Detergent for two loads was also provided, which impressed me. The bathroom only has a shower; there is no bathtub. There are no convenience stores within walking distance, and there are only a few izakayas nearby. However, I enjoyed walking to see the ocean and visiting a famous soba restaurant in the area. There were almost no concerns about insects either. The front desk had an adorable Hawaiian vibe. I would definitely love to stay here again!

The Room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were always seen cleaning. When the dryer stopped working, they responded promptly, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay! The morning bread and drink service was great; the bread was packed in a bag, so we could enjoy it with our family at the beach! We would love to stay here again next time!

The ocean view and service were excellent, but for a Hotel of this class, the lack of amenities in the Room and the use of a very cheap hairdryer left a poor impression.
