I had been on the go since early morning and was completely exhausted, so I truly appreciated the thoughtful care from all the staff. The view from the Room was wonderful as well. The spa also soothed my tired body and was very relaxing. I almost didn’t want to check out. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

The Room wasn’t particularly special, but it was comfortable, spacious enough, and very practical to use. There was a water dispenser in the elevator hall, so it was nice to be able to make good coffee in the Room whenever I wanted. Breakfast is served as a set meal with options to choose from, and I was satisfied with both the portion size and the taste.

We always choose the Separate Twin. We stay as a couple, but because we go to bed and use the Onsen at different times, this Room is extremely comfortable. If I had to mention one thing, we would be completely satisfied if there were a refrigerator in each area. Also, it’s close to hitaru, which is convenient for concerts, and the location is great with easy access from the underground walkway. If possible, it would be nice if the price were consistent regardless of the day of the week.

This was my first trip to Hokkaido. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay to celebrate the birth of my eldest son’s baby and to see my grandchild. They kindly accommodated a late check-in, and I appreciated the wide selection of amenities next to the front desk. Breakfast menus changed by day, so I enjoyed a delicious meal on the second day as well. In particular, I loved the seafood rice bowl where you can add as much of your favorite toppings as you like. All staff were pleasant, and I had a very comfortable stay. It would have been even better if the changing area were a bit more spacious.

The staff service, the comfort of the Room, the high-quality meals, and the convenient location—not too far from the station with a convenience store nearby—always make for a fulfilling holiday. The elevator also shows the next floor it will stop at, offering a small but thoughtful touch.

I stayed on a Plan with Club Floor access. The service was excellent. I was especially impressed by the delicious in-house apple pie, scallop soup, and tomato juice. The Hotel’s atmosphere, rich in tradition and elegance, and the refined, attentive hospitality of the staff were outstanding. It made for a truly luxurious stay.

1. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 2. The large public bath feels like an Onsen and is great. The shower is high quality with three modes, and it doesn’t shut off automatically, so it’s easy to use. Sometimes soap suds splash around the washing area near the door, so it’s better to rinse the floor well before leaving. The shampoo and other amenities are also good quality. 3. At the 1st-floor restaurant, soft drinks are free-flow for many time slots. From 18:00 to 20:00, alcohol is also free-flow. It’s excellent—however, there is no beer. It’s free, which is very helpful. 4. From 21:00, ochazuke is served and can be a light dinner. It’s delicious, but limited to one bowl per person (no refills). 5. Breakfast isn’t extravagant, but it’s tasty enough and recommended. 6. The parking lot is spacious. 7 .If you ask, they will bring out a hand cart for you to borrow . 8 .The Room refrigerator is a two-door type and can freeze ice cream .It cools very well . 9 .At certain times ,there is free ice cream near the entrance of the large public bath . 10.There is a washing machine in the Room ,but no dryer function. There is a simple drying area near the window. If you check in late for one night ,your laundry may not dry by morning.I did laundry every day.Detergent is also provided . 11.There is a microwave in the Room ,which is very convenient . 12.There is a desk suitable for working . 13.The internet speed fast with no stress. You can upload large files for work without issues . 14.There drugstore and Seven-Eleven next door . 15.The sea nearby . 16.With two elevators ,the wait time short . This Hotel highly recommended. If possible ,even used books would be fine—having a small corner with comics manga)and tourist guidebooks would make it even better .

From the moment I entered the main entrance, the staff assisted me smoothly, and I was able to start my stay comfortably. No matter where you are in the spacious Hotel, you can feel their hospitality and enjoy a pleasant stay. It was also convenient to take a taxi right from in front of the entrance. Breakfast in particular offered an excellent variety; everything looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. Being able to enjoy cocktails in the morning was a delightful surprise as well. The spacious restaurant had a calm atmosphere, with outstanding service that let me savor breakfast at a relaxed pace. This is a Hotel full of hospitality that I would definitely love to visit again.

I stayed for two nights and had a very comfortable stay. I had breakfast on the second morning, and I was glad to be able to enjoy Hokkaido specialties such as hokke (Atka mackerel) and ramen. It’s close to the station, has a large public bath, and is reasonably priced, so I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

This was my third stay. It’s close to the station, and the Room is very clean. The breakfast is just as good as at other Hotels, with daily rotating menu items, so I never got bored. The amenities are plentiful, and even on a business trip I had an enjoyable stay. I will stay here again.

The location was great, and we had a very comfortable stay. The complimentary drinks at the 1F café were excellent. Unlike a typical breakfast, every dish was delicious—we were pleasantly surprised. The only thing we noticed was that the Room felt a bit small, but everything else was perfect. We would love to stay again on our next trip.

A clean business hotel just steps from Susukino Station. Great location and very clean—really enjoyed my stay!

This is my third Gate Hotel, following Yokohama and Fukuoka. Although it should be the same, it felt a little different—in a good way. The Room was chic, very comfortable, and truly relaxing. The view from the large window at the back was wonderful, with an exceptional sense of openness. The location is very convenient: just a short walk from Sapporo Station and about 15 minutes on foot to Susukino. For breakfast on both days I chose the Japanese set, and I was very satisfied with both the taste and quality. When I visit Sapporo again, this will definitely become my go-to Hotel. I’m also planning to stay at The Gate Hotel Tokyo Ginza in November, so I’m already looking forward to comparing them.

Although I was traveling solo, I stayed in a twin Room, which was spacious enough to relax. There was also a large public bath, and the towel bag and amenities needed for bathing were well provided, so even though it was a business trip, I was very satisfied. I would like to stay here again when I visit Sapporo.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel in Sapporo. First of all, the staff were very kind and helpful. The Room was clean and wonderful, with a panoramic view of Odori Park below. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes. I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel again next time.

If you’re looking for a quiet Hotel where you can sleep well, JR Inn is the one. The lockers for storing luggage before and after your stay are located right near the entrance, which is helpful because you don’t have to go through the lobby. It’s also great that the Room has a bathtub where you can soak and relax. It’s nice that the amenities include bath salts, and I especially appreciate that the skincare products are Sekkisei. Having a trouser press permanently in the Room is also a plus. There’s a wide selection of pillows to choose from, and with an upgraded Simmons bed, I slept very well. Breakfast may be light, but it’s impressive: different breads each day, three kinds of soup, hygienic single-serve cups of potato salad, individually wrapped Hokkaido Camembert cheese, and even yogurt and milk pudding for dessert. Perhaps because it’s a light meal service, the breakfast area is quiet too, which feels relaxing. However, I noticed a yellow stain on the pillow I chose. I’d also like the refrigerator to be pre-chilled.

I had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights and 4 days. It was close to the station, and the Room and large public bath were clean. The toilet and washbasin area were separate, and the pajamas were the type with pants. I could feel thoughtful attention to detail everywhere. Thank you very much.

I had to travel to Sapporo on short notice and made a same-day Reservation. I was happy to have a Room with a view of the Hokkaido Government Office. It was conveniently located within walking distance of Sapporo Station and Susukino. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

I was surprised at how affordable it was, yet the Facility and the staff service were excellent. Although it’s described as an artificial Onsen, it was very nice, and the hair dryer and shower were high quality. A women’s iron was also provided. I arrived a little early, but the staff were very kind, and I had a pleasant stay through checkout. There were books in my Room, including one by APA Hotel’s president, which I enjoyed reading. It felt like a Hotel that truly aims to please its guests. I’d like to stay again.

We stayed for one night with three people. In addition to the three beds, there was a table and chairs, and we were able to open two suitcases on the floor. It was also nice that the toilet and washbasin area were separate. The hair dryer in the Room was a Dyson. Unfortunately, the springs in the extra sofa bed were so painful even just sitting on it that it was hard to sleep. Also, one of the chairs was wobbly and unusable. If the sofa bed and chair are replaced, it would be perfect. My family said that when the public bath is crowded, the changing area is small and difficult to use. I used it comfortably when it wasn’t busy. It would be nice if we could check how crowded it is from the Room.
