With its convenient location right by the East Exit of Kitakami Station, I stayed on the top (9th) floor this time. The room was new and clean, spacious for a single, and well designed with an easy-to-use desk and chair and a thoughtfully planned layout. The Hotel also offers welcome drinks, a choice of amenities, and a large public bath, making the stay comfortable overall. Laundry Facilities are available on both the 2nd and 6th floors; it was convenient to check machine availability from the room, and the PIN-code system was helpful as well. On the other hand, they can be fully occupied during peak times, and it would be even more convenient if cashless payment were available. This time I chose a Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Since there aren’t many restaurants within walking distance around Kitakami Station’s East Exit area, choosing dinner included was definitely the right call. Being able to have all meals within the Hotel is a major advantage. Breakfast featured items such as Kitakami natto, roast beef, and BALMUDA toasters, and the overall atmosphere and quality were good. However, yogurt had run out by around 7:30 a.m., and I felt that adding more variety to the side dishes and improving the color balance of the salad selection would make it even better. While there are some minor areas for improvement, overall it was a very satisfying stay including the room, large public bath, in-house Facilities, and meals. If I have another chance to stay near Kitakami Station, I would like to use this Hotel again.

The guest rooms and the large public bath were convenient and easy to use. Breakfast was sufficient as well. However, it was disappointing that there was only one elevator, so we often had to wait.

For early departures, we prepared sausage bread for breakfast in advance. In the cold of December, we wanted to warm it up in a microwave but found none available. It would be helpful if a microwave could be installed at the coffee corner on the first floor.

I stay at Comfort Hotel properties in various areas. Kitakami was good as well, but I would like to mention one thing. There was a large amount of black lint-like debris on the Room carpet. It wasn’t noticeable when standing, but it stood out when sitting. It seemed like the kind of dirt that could have been removed with proper vacuuming during cleaning. The next morning, I informed the front desk and had the Room cleaned, and after that I was able to spend the following three days comfortably. Because of my work, I stay at Hotels throughout The whole country. Even if a Facility is old, I think it is a good Hotel as long as it feels clean; on the other hand, even a new Hotel can feel unpleasant if cleaning is not thorough. In the past, I stayed at a Hotel in Naha that was only about one month old, and it was exactly the latter. Please continue improving so guests can use your Hotel with peace of mind. I will continue to stay with you in the future.

The room was very clean and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were delicious, and the large public bath and open-air bath offered both hotter and slightly warm options, making it easy to enjoy for extended periods. Despite being early September, cicadas were chirping, creating a nostalgic atmosphere to savor the end of summer while relaxing in the open-air bath. Route Inn offers a great public bath. Since there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, you may need to rely on the dining area and vending machines within the Facility. As a Business Hotel, it is sufficient and provides high satisfaction.

Thank you always for your kind support. The day before our stay, we found a great deal with the Iwate Discount, so we made a Reservation right away. Thank you again for taking such great care of us, following on from last week! This time, the two of us enjoyed a luxurious stay in a spacious 24-tatami Japanese-style room and had a relaxing time. As always, the bathroom and toilet were thoroughly cleaned, making our stay very comfortable. The proprietress and staff spoke to us so kindly, and we were happy to receive the drink service mentioned in the Review! We also really appreciated the ice service, and the washing machine was convenient as well. Check-out is available until 1:00 PM, so we’d love to stay until then, but we always have plans and have never been able to stay that late—hopefully one day we can enjoy it right up to the latest time. We’ll be back again. Thank you!

The parking lot around the building was full, but there was a nearby multi-story parking garage, and it was free of charge. Next time, I won’t need to rush over.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. 1) All staff were kind, and we had a very pleasant stay. 2) The Room was clean and spacious, and opening the window let in fresh air—very satisfying. 3) The Onsen was excellent, with different temperature levels to choose from. The open-air bath is highly recommended. 4) Dinner was truly delicious, and you could really feel the chef’s skill. The rice was “Hitomebore.” I used to think Yamagata’s “Tsuyahime” was the best, but I decided to order this instead. Also, this season you can choose chestnut rice as well—and it’s unbelievably good. 5) Breakfast is a buffet; I didn’t have high expectations, but honestly it was delicious. The buffet selection changes daily, and they serve you the rice and miso soup for a comforting at-home feeling. Excellent. Overall, it feels very reassuring here. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Many Hotels are non-smoking these days, so having a smoking option was really helpful! My mother and I were able to sleep comfortably together in the large bed. Please note that the bath is for men only. The front desk staff were kind, and it was great to relax in the Room. For breakfast, the only egg options were raw egg or Onsen egg—I would have loved scrambled eggs, a fried egg, or an omelet. Also, be careful because the elevator doors close quickly.

There is also a large public bath, so I was able to relax. I personally liked that the loungewear included pants. There was no air conditioner, but the temperature was comfortably controlled by the central air system. Breakfast was delicious as well. The Onsen eggs were especially nice. I was able to get a good rest.

The large public bath was excellent. I frequently use Route Inn hotels during business trips and am always satisfied. Thank you for your continued service.

A complimentary daily buffet breakfast is a welcome service for busy mornings. There is also a kitchen, so you can prepare simple meals. This Hotel is ideal for long-term stays!

The Facility was well maintained and felt very clean. All four types of coffee in the Room were delicious. The water dispenser was tucked away behind the elevator, which made it hard to find. I ordered dinner at the restaurant, but for that price it felt expensive, as it seemed like something warmed up in a microwave—similar to a family restaurant. The most disappointing part was the towels: although the fabric was thick, they felt flat, perhaps due to how they are laundered. The scent was also hard to tell—an ambiguous smell. However, both the Facility and the staff were excellent, so I would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

The Facilities were well equipped, so the stay was comfortable. It was great to be able to use the large public bath. The parking lot is small, and on snowy winter days it was difficult to park. Since app registration was required, check-in took some time; registering in advance makes it smoother.
