I had another truly comfortable stay. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, with fresh, spotless linens, and a wonderful view. I ordered Room service for dinner and tried the Japanese breakfast for the first time. The timing of the service and the taste were both excellent. Above all, the food was delicious. The hospitality was also outstanding, and I was able to relax until the 1:00 PM checkout time. Thank you very much. I will definitely visit again.

Despite checking in at 11 PM, the staff's hospitality was absolutely perfect. The scent of the hand soap was amazing and left a lasting impression. I will definitely stay here again!

I used to stay at Mercure quite often overseas, but since I travel less these days, this was my first stay in a while. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Shimbashi Station and Uchisaiwaicho Subway Station. I believe it was originally an office building, later converted into an annex of a neighboring Hotel, and then rebranded as Mercure. Since the property is scheduled to close soon for renovations, I was grateful to be able to stay at a very reasonable rate. Perhaps because of the location and the brand, most guests were international, and many of the front desk staff were as well (they assisted me in flawless Japanese). With an interior design inspired by a “theater,” the whole place feels even more international. The Room design was also quite bold. There is a couch-like platform near the window where you can lie down and watch trains passing by (Shinkansen, Tokaido Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, etc.). However, getting up onto it takes some effort, and opinions may differ on how practical it really is. Aside from the décor and these design choices, it felt like a slightly upscale Business Hotel. I’m looking forward to seeing what concept it will adopt after the renovation.

The Room was comfortable and easy to relax in. The shower had decent water pressure even on a high floor, which was great. There was a welcome drink, and the breakfast was higher quality than typical Hotel buffets—everything was delicious. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, such as restaurants or izakayas, but there is a Lawson convenience store close by.

Our stay happened to coincide with a typhoon, but it was so comfortable that we actually felt lucky. We were a bit worried about whether the Executive Lounge menu (especially at night) would have options our child could eat, but we had no trouble at all, and it became a wonderful opportunity to create lasting memories. This is a Hotel that guests of any age can enjoy. Next time we visit, we plan to enjoy a walk around the area. Thank you as always!

I found it stylish for a Business Hotel. I was personally satisfied with the amenities. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and it was a shower room without a bathtub, which suited me since I usually don’t take baths at a Business Hotel. The lobby had spaces for desk work and relaxing, and there were plenty of manga available. The view from the Room was beautiful as well. I would like to stay again.

The title may be a bit over the top, but this is my absolute favorite place—one that needs no introduction. Because of 1899, I can truly rest and then return to everyday life feeling ready to do my best again. This time, I enjoyed matcha every day and felt peacefully fulfilled. I’m also always excited that the breakfast selection has grown even more. It warmed my heart to know the front desk staff remembered me—I was truly happy. Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to the Autumn Rest Plan. I’ll be back again, and I appreciate your continued support.

About a three-minute walk from the Kabuki-za Theatre, it was very convenient—I could return right away even after the evening performance ended. This time I stayed on the Executive Floor, so in the evening I relaxed at the bar, enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres while taking in Ginza’s streetscape and night views. The platter included smoked salmon and prosciutto, and I could also choose pickles and nuts; it was great that these were included. For alcohol there was champagne, several wines, whisky, and sake, but cocktails were charged separately. I took some soup back to my Room and it was delicious, but carrying hot soup to the Room in a paper cup felt unsafe. The Room was a twin; not spacious, but it had a separate bathroom with a rain shower. There is a washing area, but no space for changing clothes. When I first entered the Room, it was lovely that the curtains opened with music. The view faced another building, but I could still enjoy some night scenery at an angle. Many of the staff were non-Japanese, but their Japanese was fluent and polite. On departure day when I asked about transportation to Yokohama, I was told to walk to Ginza Station rather than use nearby Higashi-Ginza Station—but you can go directly from Higashi-Ginza Station too, right? When pulling a suitcase through Ginza, shorter is better—so why?

The quiet atmosphere allowed me to relax. Since I was staying for work, I booked a single room, and the large desk was very helpful. I also appreciated being able to watch subscription services on the TV. However, I noticed there might not have been a clock in the room; if that's the case, having one would be convenient. The breakfast buffet seemed tailored for international guests, so it would be nice to have more Japanese-style dishes available. Unfortunately, I couldn't take advantage of the late check-out this time due to my schedule. Next time, I'd love to take my time and enjoy the art pieces displayed within the accommodation. The Room was a good size and felt clean, which was great. It would have been even better if the amenities included skincare items such as facial lotion. The price offered great value for money, and I’d like to stay again.

This was my second stay, and it reminded me again how good this place is. The Room isn’t huge, but it’s easy to move around and very relaxing. The toilet has an automatic lid and automatic flushing, which is a big help for me since I have back issues. It’s also rare (and convenient) to have a sink inside the toilet area. The bathroom has a separate washing area, and the tub is spacious enough to soak comfortably. The pajamas are a two-piece set with a soft feel. What really earns high marks is the generous service: drinks, snacks, and bread are provided, and bringing items into the Room is also allowed. At other hotels, I end up having to stop by a convenience store just to make sure I have drinks—here there’s no need for that, which makes it much more relaxing. We don’t even need to add breakfast; bread and coffee are enough for us. However, it was disappointing that there were no croissants this time. I also didn’t know how to use the toaster, so it would be helpful if instructions were posted. And when I want tea, I’d appreciate a note explaining where to find hot water. Two years ago I wrote that I wished the TV could play YouTube, and I was happy to see that it can now. The staff’s service and smiles had improved compared with before. As always, the only inconvenience is that the space next to the sink is small. It’s close to Shinbashi Station as well, so it’s convenient not having to wait for a taxi. I think the Accommodation cost is reasonable compared with nearby hotels considering how good the service is. I hope these services won’t be discontinued because of inconsiderate guests. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

Business Trip Compared to during the COVID-19 period, amenities have been simplified quite a bit, but everything you need is still provided. In particular, the free evening cafe bar time is enjoyable even if you don’t drink alcohol. The staff were attentive at all hours, which made for a very pleasant stay. This time I stayed in a single Room for business, and I appreciated that the Room setup was thoughtfully arranged for that purpose. Each day I walked to the work site, and when I returned to the Hotel, I relaxed in the large public bath to soothe the day’s fatigue. In the morning, I woke up and opened the curtains to take in views of Ginza. It was an excellent business trip.

I have been using it frequently, but since around last year, possibly due to SDGs initiatives, the amenities have become less luxurious. It might appeal to environmentally conscious individuals, but for regular guests, it just feels like a downgrade in the Hotel's quality.

We stayed here because we wanted a nearby Hotel to see Shiki Theatre Company and enjoy dining. There were many international guests and some groups, so I expected it might be lively, but the floor we stayed on was very quiet. My two daughters loved the Room’s interior, and they were happy that the amenities were well stocked. I was also very satisfied because I could relax and enjoy reading.

I stayed at Henn na Hotel, and it wasn’t strange at all—it was a very good Hotel. The Room was clean and beautiful, and the lounge benefits were excellent; I was satisfied both in the evening and in the morning. I would like to stay again.

No matter which Super Hotel you visit, it is a reliable place to stay. Breakfast is free and satisfactory. However, this time, I felt the hotel price was too high.

Staff warmly welcomed us at the entrance. Check-in and check-out were self-service via machines, but staff assistance made the process smooth. We received six coins for two people to use at the first-floor café during our stay. It was an unexpected and delightful gift. The number of coins required for each item was displayed, making it fun to choose. The public bath was clean and pleasant, especially in the evening when it wasn’t crowded. As mentioned in previous reviews, the shampoo and conditioner were excellent. There is also a refreshment space with a coffee machine available anytime. As a coffee lover, I appreciated having four options like espresso to choose from. However, I thought it would be nice if tea or green tea options were available for those who don’t drink coffee. Dinner came with an in-room dining plan delivered by a robot directly to our room. The meal included a main dish, salad, and sweets—all generous portions with great presentation and delicious taste. The room also had a foldable desk and microwave for added convenience. Despite labor shortages affecting service quality elsewhere recently, this hotel stood out with its attentive staff who offered kind words not only during check-out but even as we exited through the entrance door—making our stay truly pleasant.

Check-in and check-out were easy and smooth. It was said to be a few minutes from Shimbashi Station, so I tried walking, but it wasn't a distance to walk while pulling a carry case... I used a taxi on the way back. I spent time at the bar on the first floor, which is easy to use, and in the morning I had coffee and lined up for free pancakes. The Room was equipped with speakers, so I spent my time listening to music. I'm someone who likes soaking in bathtubs, so I thought it was unfortunate, but there were showers from above and from the side as well; even though it was a cold winter, it surprisingly wasn't cold. I could spend my time without any worries, which was very nice. I would like to use it again if there is an opportunity!
