My first time at Myoban Onsen. I’m excited to be able to stay at Okamotoya, which is highly rated in guidebooks. I was very satisfied with the milky-blue water. The Room was just the right size for one person and had a great view, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dessert pudding and the orange juice at breakfast were especially appreciated since I don’t drink alcohol. Since this is a Multiple Night Stay, it really helped that they provided extra yukata and towels. Just one thing: at dinner on the first day, the rice and soup were a bit lukewarm (it was fine on the second day). Also, perhaps due to the season, the seating was quite close to other guests during meals, which made it a little hard to eat comfortably. Still, I’m so satisfied that I’d definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I chose this Hotel again because I wanted to celebrate a birthday and had stayed here before. The phone service was excellent, and thanks to the female staff member who helped us that day, as well as all the other staff, it became a wonderful birthday. Thank you very much. The Room was clean, and the private family bath was amazing! Since it was a weekday, there weren’t many guests, so we were able to enjoy our meal in a very calm atmosphere. My partner loves steak and was thrilled, and everything—from the crab and steak to the other dishes—was delicious! The drinks made by one of the male staff members were also very tasty. With such outstanding hospitality in every way, we had a wonderful day. We will definitely stay again.

I stayed here with my mother, who is 90 years old. 1. All the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay. 2. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including beef grilled on a lava stone plate, sashimi, fugu sashimi, and fried shrimp—everything was excellent and very satisfying. 3. The bath was very spacious and we fully enjoyed the Onsen, but it would have been even better if there had been a rock seat suitable for half-body bathing. 4. The building and our Room had been renovated, and everything was well cleaned and maintained—very nice overall. 5. Overall: This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

Despite being in Beppu City, this Accommodation is wonderfully quiet. Because it’s a small Accommodation, we didn’t run into anyone at all. We were told the building is old, but it has been fully renovated—the Room and baths were outstanding. Truly lovely. The amenities are well stocked, and there’s also a coffee machine. All drinks in the refrigerator are free as well. If your Room doesn’t have an in-room bath, you can use one of the three private baths. They are not by Reservation—if one is available, you can use it. Personally, I recommend “Nadeshiko.” The changing area is stylish and really lifts your mood! I was able to relax and enjoy it with my husband without any worries. Meals are served in your Room, which is rare these days. Everything was brought at just the right timing. Every dish was carefully prepared and genuinely delicious. We couldn’t finish everything, so they packed the yellowtail and wild vegetable rice for a late-night snack. And checkout is at 11:00! We’re grateful we could stay until the very last minute. I’ve stayed at some fairly nice Accommodations in Yufuin as well, but this Accommodation felt like a much better value and was far more comfortable. I highly recommend it for couples, married couples, and families with small children.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and were kind to our children. The breakfast and the in-room dinner via room service were both delicious—everything was perfect. We have stayed at several InterContinental Hotels, and among them, the service at InterContinental Hotel Beppu was outstanding. We were truly moved to find a Hotel we want to return to for the first time in a long while.

I stayed at this Ryokan for my first Beppu Onsen trip, and I truly feel it was the best choice. The room had an Onsen bath, allowing us to enjoy it multiple times with our children and fully relax as a family. Additionally, the private family bath was spacious and highly recommended. What left the biggest impression was the delicious cuisine. Each dish was carefully prepared, incredibly tasty, and thoroughly satisfying. The Oita specialty "Toriten" we ordered additionally was exceptional. The attention to detail in children's menus and portion sizes made for a wonderful dining experience. The staff were consistently kind and attentive from arrival to departure, making our stay pleasant and enjoyable. They also provided detailed information about Beppu Onsen, creating great memories for our children. From the meals to the staff's hospitality to even small amenities, every detail reflected their dedication to excellent service. It truly is an outstanding accommodation. If I have another chance to visit Beppu, I would love to stay here again. Thanks to this Ryokan, we had a fantastic trip in Oita. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

My first time in Beppu Onsen. Everyone provided courteous service, and I was completely satisfied with all the Onsen facilities. If I had to mention one thing, as an older man I couldn’t figure out how to use the hair dryer. All the meals were delicious, but I would have been happy if there were a few more Kyushu-style dishes. If I have a chance to visit Beppu again, I’d like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here. Because it is a dog-only Hotel, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The building is equipped with air conditioning almost everywhere, so it was pleasant even on hot days. Everything was excellent—the meals (including dog food), the Onsen, the indoor dog run, the Room, and the service.

This time, I stayed with my 93-year-old mother. I had informed them by phone in advance that an elderly guest would be with us, and they thoughtfully provided chairs in the Japanese-style Room and the in-room bath, and also took our mobility into account when arranging access to meals and the large public bath, which was a great help. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied with this Accommodation.

Five siblings stayed here together. Our Room was on the second floor, but because the Accommodation is on a hill, we had a great view over the green trees and the Onsen town. The spacious bedroom and Japanese-style room can be separated with sliding doors, which helped us catch up on sleep after the ferry ride. The floor chairs were also very helpful for our elderly family members, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a coffee maker in the Room. We were also grateful that you accommodated an allergy request even though we had failed to inform you in advance. The meals were delicious as well—beautifully presented creative dishes with wonderful colors. The Hotel’s atmosphere, furniture, and furnishings felt beautiful, as everything is carefully maintained and used with respect despite its age. We love Kyushu, so when we visit Beppu again, we would like to stay here again.

Everything was excellent. We had both dinner and breakfast. You could really feel the chef’s attention to detail. It was delicious! The rice was especially great! Free beer was the best!

This was my first time staying here. It was also my first sightseeing trip to Beppu, and I’m glad I chose this Hotel. We decided to have dinner on short notice that day, and the staff handled everything politely and smoothly. It was an à la carte dinner, and every dish was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was also wonderful—you can choose a main dish, and there is a buffet with bread, salads, and more. Everything tasted great, making for a lovely breakfast time. The staff were very kind as well. The Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—I wished I could have stayed longer. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent. The amenities were well stocked, and since I enjoyed the Onsen many times, it was convenient to have extra towels available. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good so we couldn’t see the view, but I imagine it would be beautiful on a clear day. It’s a place I’d like to recommend to friends. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

The road to the Accommodation includes steep slopes and narrow sections, so guests who are not confident drivers may find it challenging. On arrival, we received a warm welcome and had a pleasant check-in. The Room was spacious, spotless, and filled with great natural light. However, the Beppu view was blocked by overgrown trees outside the window; please trim them. There were many types of baths, and the iron-rich indoor bath in particular had excellent water quality. The private family bath and open-air bath also offered superb views, which we really enjoyed. Dinner and breakfast were luxurious, featuring only delicious ingredients—very satisfying. All-you-can-drink beer in the lounge is an irresistible service for beer lovers. It seems there are even more wonderful Accommodations in your group, so I’d like to try another one next time as well.

I’ve been to Beppu many times, but this was my first stay at Sansuikan. Thank you for a relaxing time. My elderly siblings and I even talked about coming again next time (lol).

I usually choose a place based on the local food and Onsen, but this time I picked it for the location and price. The location is extremely good. You can walk to any Onsen in the Kannawa area, so you can hop from one bath to another even after a few drinks. There are plenty of places to eat, and if you want a simple, inexpensive breakfast, there’s a large supermarket right in front. It’s old as expected, but having parking right next door was incredibly convenient.

An Onsen-loving couple. We found it the same day and made a last-minute Reservation. A detached Room with a private indoor bath and an open-air bath (of course, both are Onsen). At first, the main building looked like it had been renovated… and the detached building, with its golden torii gate, felt a bit questionable… I wasn’t sure what to expect. But that first impression was wrong. The Hotel staff seemed to be from overseas, but they were pleasant and gave clear explanations. Friendly and kind. The detached Room had everything we needed—nothing to complain about. It’s No Meals Included, but delivery is OK and there’s a microwave. We thought about going out to eat, but we wanted to soak in the Onsen many times and relax, so we bought locally caught sashimi and sushi at a nearby supermarket and ate in the Room. Without worrying about anyone else, we went into the Onsen again and again—back and forth between the indoor bath and the open-air bath… I’ve lost count of how many times. The fridge has separate freezer/refrigerator compartments, so we could even store ice cream. The free Onsen-boiled eggs were great—we had several—and they were very delicious. Plates and chopsticks were also provided for meals. You can adjust the water temperature to your liking, and the Room size was more than enough for two people. Some Reviews said the Room was dark or that there were no loungewear/pajamas, but it wasn’t dark at all, and loungewear was provided. If I had one suggestion… The wall around the open-air bath is wooden, but some areas have peeling color or spots of rot. It’s probably unavoidable due to Onsen minerals, but it would be perfect if maintenance reached every detail. That said, it may be maintained regularly but deteriorates quickly because of mineral content… so it’s within an acceptable range. We loved everything about our stay. We’ll come again.

This was my first stay. Even in an everyday setting, the Onsen and sauna are right in front of you, and you can use them anytime you feel like it. The staff’s service was just the right level—in a good way. It truly was a stress-free Accommodation. There was nothing to worry about, so I relaxed a little too much and didn’t quite get fully refreshed. I’d like to come back soon for another reset. It was a wonderful Accommodation. Recently, my wife and I decided we wanted to visit an Onsen, so we planned a trip to Beppu. After checking in at Yumetsuki, we stayed overnight at Resort Ougiyama. Thank you for the courteous and easy-to-understand explanation at check-in. Next time we travel to Beppu, we would like to stay at Yumetsuki. Because it comes with a private Onsen managed for each room, it’s a great option for those who aren’t comfortable with large public baths—just like us (haha). The Onsen was very relaxing and completely relieved our fatigue. We’d love to come again. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time with our dog. The Room was clean and comfortable, and we loved being able to enjoy the private Onsen whenever we wanted. The staff were kind and helpful, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. Our whole family was able to unwind with our dog, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
