Because it is a new Hotel, everything was spotless. The breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed drinks during happy hour. There was a sauna in the bath area, and after bathing there was ice cream—everything was thoughtfully provided. We were absolutely delighted with this wonderful Hotel. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us. Everyone is saying, “Next time, it has to be this Hotel again.”

It’s a fairly new Hotel, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. The toilet is separate, which made it very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was also quite substantial and delicious. I took the Airport Liner from Higo-Ozu Station to the airport, and since I could walk through the station from the north exit (where the Hotel is) to the south exit (where the bus stop is), I reached the stop in about two minutes. It was a hot day, but I could get there without breaking a sweat—very easy and convenient!

The check-in and check-out process was very easy to understand. The Room was relaxing, and the bedding was fluffy and very comfortable! The bathroom was not a unit bath, so it felt like taking a bath at home. There is a 7-Eleven and Hirai Bento nearby, which was convenient since you can also eat inside. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

The wood-burning stove was a real winter highlight. With the seasonal snowfall, we were able to enjoy a truly magical atmosphere. The BBQ gazebo was very cold, but it was spacious and had sunken seating like a kotatsu, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, and it was nice to have a side table next to it. I gave the bath 4 stars because it felt a bit small—though that’s probably because I’m big; I think it would be fine for women and children. Also, on the last morning (maybe due to freezing), there was no hot water. Since I take a quick shower in the morning as well as at night, that part was a little disappointing. As for the Facility rating of 4 stars, I think it can’t really be helped: the firewood for the stove was quite thin, so we had to add logs frequently or it seemed like it might go out. Also, one of the gazebo cushions was thin (my hips started to hurt), while another one was large and thick—I wish they were both the same size. That said, everything else—the view, atmosphere, wood-burning stove, BBQ gazebo, and bedroom-was excellent. I’d love to visit again. Thank you!

This was my first stay here. The Room was beautifully designed and very comfortable. The open-air bath, a rock bath kept at the perfect temperature, felt wonderful at any time, and there was also a reclining bath where I could truly relax. The Japanese garden was also stunning and helped me forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The meals used plenty of local ingredients and were delicious. All staff provided very courteous service, and I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Was it originally a hospital? Until you reach the Room, it feels a bit worrying... But once inside the Room, it was clean and comfortable. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

I stayed for 4 nights. With two meals included, breakfast starts at 5:30 a.m., and for an extra 1,000 yen you can enjoy one hour of all-you-can-drink in the evening—at this price, I haven’t found any other Hotel like it. I did get a bit tired of dinner toward the end, but I had no complaints. I was also surprised they even served sashimi. They offer an umbrella lending service, and if you choose not to have your Room cleaned, you receive an ASAHI beer as well. There was nothing to complain about at this Hotel. If I’m in the area again, I’ll stay here.

I stayed here for a memorial service. I chose this place because they now offer complimentary welcome drinks. With more and more Business Hotels being built nearby due to the TSMC effect, the large public bath and free drinks are probably the key highlights. I recommend picking up food at a convenience store or Hirai. It would be even better if they also had a beer server.

Barbecue facilities were available, and it was amazing. We had a wonderful New Year's experience.

Close to the downtown area, I chose this place thinking it would be great for sightseeing in Kumamoto City. Plus, it's affordable! The surrounding area is right in the heart of the bustling downtown—might be noisy? The exterior seemed a bit historic, but once I entered the Room, it was quiet with modern and clean interiors! The staff were very kind, making my trip extremely comfortable. Thank you so much!

It was reassuring and convenient to know there was an Accommodation nearby where I could rest right away, even if I had been drinking. If I have the opportunity, I would like to stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed here during Obon on August 15 with three generations—eight of us in total, including my daughter and three grandchildren aged 4, 3, and 1. The Accommodation had plenty of toys and books for the children, and they had a great time playing. The owner also gave them a rhinoceros beetle as a gift, which made them very happy. For meals, we rented BBQ equipment for 2,000 yen and enjoyed a barbecue. We thought we would need to start the fire ourselves, but the charcoal was already lit, so we could enjoy the BBQ with ease. The kids kept saying they wanted to stay here forever, so we’d love to come back if we have the chance!

Visiting Kumamoto Castle has long been my wife's dream. The moment we entered the Room and opened the curtains, it became a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The view of "the castle and cherry blossoms" is truly breathtaking.

Thank you for your continued support. No matter when you stay, AZ offers peace of mind and safety.

Kumamoto Prefecture is buzzing with the revitalization of the semiconductor industry, and as a result, Hotel rates across the city had become unbelievably high. In that situation, I stayed at this Hotel at a reasonable price. Since it has only recently been renovated, the Room was clean and designed to be easy to use. The breakfast buffet was also kept at a fair price, and they offered Kumamoto specialties, which I enjoyed. The lobby feels like a bookstore where you can read newer books for free, making the stay even more comfortable.

One complimentary drink is included (drink bar). For this price and quality, there are no issues. The Room is spacious. Independent air conditioning is available. You can come and go freely with a key card.

Great value and a cozy, handmade-style lodge. It’s small, but considering the price, views, and amenities, it’s hard to find anywhere better. We’ve stayed here many times as a couple, with family, and with friends. Since the stay costs less than 3,000 yen for two people, we can spend more on a BBQ dinner and are always very satisfied. If you love cats, a beautiful mother-and-kitten pair may come by while you’re eating—it’s very soothing. The room has a mini fridge, table and chairs; in the bedroom there is also a small table, floor chair (zaisu), and floor mat. A microwave as well as toilets and showers are nearby for convenience. There is also a fan heater; if you pay for kerosene fuel, it should be comfortable even in colder seasons.

We stayed with an infant, and the host's friendly assistance was very helpful. We chose this accommodation based on the reviews about the meals, and it was the right decision. The food was very delicious. We recommend upgrading to a higher-tier dinner option.

Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport, and the room was very clean and well maintained. They also provided loungewear, which made it easy to go to the bath. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious, so I was very satisfied.

The large public bath was spacious and clean. There were three types of saunas, and the löyly was excellent.
