We stayed to celebrate a birthday anniversary. The hot spring water was excellent, and the amenities were well stocked. In the bathroom refrigerator, there were small sherbet treats (for heatstroke prevention?), along with water and tea. At dinner, there was a surprise that made us very happy, and we were able to spend meaningful time that became a special memory. Thank you very much.

With a free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room, in-room dining, and a massage chair, everything can be enjoyed without leaving your Room. This is the best place for a stay-in retreat! We chose the Gourmet Light Meal Plan, and it was just the right amount for us in our 60s. A highly recommended Accommodation.

The three of us stayed here on our first trip together. We were all worried about bothering each other with snoring and the like, but since it was a spacious corner Room, we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay without any concerns. The food was also very delicious, and we were very satisfied.

For our 40th wedding anniversary, we searched for a place where we could relax in an Onsen and enjoy a delicious French dinner, and this Hotel came up. Hoping—just a little—that there might be a celebratory chocolate message plate with dessert, we visited Tamana Onsen for the first time. Dinner was beautifully presented and delicious, and we were more than satisfied—but after the course dessert and coffee, to our surprise, a cake plate arrived!! We truly weren’t expecting that much, so we were overwhelmed with emotion and almost brought to tears. And the cake itself—the whipped cream was exquisitely tasty. The quality was exactly what you’d expect from a Hotel cake! On top of that, the message lettering was beautifully done, the chocolate was delicious as well, and we were once again impressed by the pastry chef’s craftsmanship. The Onsen was spacious with free-flowing water, and it was lovely to see it decorated with traditional Japanese umbrellas and bamboo lanterns. It also felt wonderful to be greeted so warmly by all of the staff. The next day, we walked to Riganji Park’s footbath and enjoyed the cherry blossoms at Jagatani Park—making the most of our first visit to Tamana. We’ve both been busy working full-time for years and had never stayed at an Onsen Accommodation on our actual anniversary day before, so this became a truly special occasion—our most memorable since our wedding. We are deeply grateful to all of the Hotel staff for creating such a wonderful celebration. Thank you very much! Next time, we’ll be sure to visit again with friends and family.

I came back for a second visit right away!! As expected, this place was amazing! I was so happy that the proprietress remembered me. The meals were delicious as always! The hot spring water was wonderful! I’m already hoping to come back for a third time!

This was our second stay. The new Room had a private indoor bath, and we were truly satisfied. Dinner was French cuisine, and every dish prepared by the delightful chef was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. We would love to visit again.

I made a Reservation for my son’s family. I’m glad the grandchildren seemed to enjoy it as well. We chose buffet-style meals for both dinner and breakfast, and they seemed satisfied being able to pick and eat what they liked. We were also lucky with the weather and were able to spend a wonderful time there.

These days, I was a little worried about the price for one night with two meals, but everything was fine and I was truly very satisfied. The hostess was also very kind. Because there were Rooms available, they even upgraded us, and the food was delicious. Also, the Onsen was amazing. The Onsen water was silky-smooth and beautifully clear. It was an Accommodation I could be happy with.

After arriving at the Accommodation and taking a short break, we headed to the spacious open-air Onsen. Other guests were already there and said the water was amazing—like a beauty serum. After trying it ourselves, we completely agreed. The silky-smooth water felt incredibly soothing. The cave bath seemed even more moisturizing, making it an Onsen you could stay in forever. Not only was the large public bath wonderful, but the in-Room bath was also beautifully made of stone. I can’t even count how many times we used it during our stay. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied. We also really enjoyed sightseeing at Kikuchi Castle Ruins, Yamaga’s Sakura-yu, and Kikuchi Gorge.

I planned a relaxing 2-night, 3-day trip to Kumamoto. Since I had work the next day, I stayed in Aso on the first night and chose Yamaga—close to Fukuoka—for the second night. I had heard the Onsen was great, and I liked that the meals were a bit lighter, so I made a Reservation and stayed here—and I was very satisfied. While relaxing in my Room, we experienced a strong earthquake (around level 5). When I went to the front desk, the staff responded very kindly and helpfully. Thanks to them, I felt safe and could enjoy both the meals and the Onsen. Thank you very much. Next time, I’d like to take my time reading the manga books available on site.

If you request a high-floor, ocean-side room, you can enjoy a wonderful view. Since availability is limited, it may be worth asking in advance. Route Inn breakfasts are generally similar across locations, but this one had a better selection and quality than other Route Inns. By taxi, it’s closer from Nishitetsu Omuta Station.

I stayed alone, and some people might find the Room small, but for me it was perfectly fine since I only needed a place to sleep. It was clean and I slept comfortably. The only thing I noticed was that the walls seemed a bit thin, and I could hear noise from the next Room. Overall, it was reasonably priced and I was satisfied with the breakfast buffet included—thank you.

Many international guests were staying there. During meals, the staff kindly asked if they could serve portions for us and made sure to let us know so that the small children wouldn’t have to wait in line. My grandchildren were very happy as well. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed here while reuniting with my high school friends for the first time in 53 years. The stay was affordable, and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Although we arrived a little late for check-in, the hostess kindly welcomed us, and we were able to relax and recover from our fatigue in the Onsen. The Room was also comfortable—we just wish we had arrived a bit earlier to take our time. We would like to stay again.

Everything was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, was outstanding.

My parents stayed here when they came to cheer at a game. They said the meals were hearty and delicious, and they were very satisfied.

Since it was a day with a high of 36°C, I was a little worried the room might be hot, but the air conditioning worked well and it was comfortable. The Facility seems a bit old, and there were a few things that caught my attention—like the breaker cover near the floor not staying closed and popping open on its own, and the door being slightly misaligned as if the screws were loose—but overall it was good. Our 5-year-old daughter loved the bunk bed and kept climbing up and down again and again. For meals, we only had the BBQ charcoal set prepared, so we bought meat, vegetables, etc. at a nearby supermarket and had a barbecue. There are supermarkets, drugstores, and convenience stores close by, which is very convenient. Cooking utensils such as knives, cutting boards, plates, and pots were available indoors. There were also two complimentary bottles of water in the refrigerator. For bathing, we went to an Onsen nearby. Even though it was a weekend, it wasn’t very crowded and we could relax. The private family bath was expensive, so we used the large public baths instead—there were various types like a jacuzzi bath and hinoki-wood baths, plus several open-air baths—and it was excellent. It costs 100 yen to lock your shoe locker (refunded later), and I also appreciated that the bath lockers were free. I didn’t realize there was a pool until we arrived, so I wished we had brought swimsuits. Overall we were very satisfied—we’re glad we went.

I stayed here again because my stay in March was so wonderful. The Onsen is free-flowing and silky-smooth. I was able to relax in the clean bath. The meals were also delicious. I can unwind without any worries, so I would like to visit again.

It was great that we could go to the Hotel right after visiting Greenland. The Room had a child’s bed added, which we appreciated, but it made the space very cramped. The Room felt more like a Business Hotel and was different from what we expected. However, the dinner included an all-you-can-drink option, which was very satisfying.
