We stayed here with four generations of our family. Because our 93-year-old grandmother has become more self-conscious around others and rarely goes out to eat, we chose a Room with a private Onsen. She was truly delighted, and we are so glad we chose this Room. Since it was a trip with four generations, we wanted a space where everyone could relax at their own pace, so we made a Reservation for the Wakakusa Room. Thanks to the spacious Room, everyone in the family was able to spend time comfortably and freely without any stress. We usually live in Mie, so it’s rare for our whole family to travel together. This time, traveling with our 3-year-old son and 93-year-old grandmother, we were able to create wonderful memories as a family. We hope we can all visit again while our grandmother is still doing well. Thank you very much for such an unforgettable stay.

We stayed during Silver Week. There were lots of dinosaurs everywhere as part of a collaboration, and even though it was a trip for three adults, it was exciting. The baths were great. It was a shame we couldn’t use the open-air bath in the morning, but we still enjoyed the baths three times in total. Dinner was delicious across the board. For breakfast, there was something like a half-buffet where you could freely take bread, salad, and more, and we ended up eating too much. The Room was clean, and this is an Accommodation I would recommend. It was a Japanese-style room with beds, and even with three people they prepared a bed for the third person instead of futon bedding, which was appreciated. We also visited nearby Unzen Jigoku; it was spectacular. This may not be related to the Accommodation, but we were surprised it’s free to enter. It must cost money to maintain and manage it, but it’s so spacious and well maintained that I think it would be fine even if there were an admission fee.

The Onsen was spacious and relaxing, and the wide variety of meals tempted us to eat more than we should. The building is old, but well maintained, and we felt truly refreshed by the warm, smiling service and thoughtful hospitality. With baby-friendly bathing facilities and dining options, we felt at ease and would like to visit next time with three generations of our family.

There was a large parking lot behind the Hotel, which was convenient. The twin Room was a corner Room with windows on two sides, offering a great view and plenty of natural light. The space with the three-piece dining set was also spacious, making the Room feel open and airy. The only drawback was that the toilet was difficult to use.

Thank you for your kind hospitality even though we arrived late!

This was my first time staying at this kind of Hotel, so I was a little nervous, but it turned out to be a truly wonderful stay! The property was clean and comfortable, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The owner was kind and attentive, which made the experience even more pleasant. In particular, the location—where you can really feel Unzen’s nature—and the spacious setting were very appealing. The Facility amenities were also well equipped, and I had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Unzen. I was completely satisfied with my stay, and if I have the chance to come back to Unzen, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the owner!

I stayed here after hiking. The Accommodation doesn’t have an Onsen, but there are plenty of Onsens nearby, so it wasn’t a problem. It’s an old building, but it was very clean, and the hostess was friendly and easy to talk to, so I could relax even as a solo traveler. It’s rare to find this price with breakfast and dinner included. I’m satisfied.
