The Onsen gets you wonderfully warm and feels great. The in-room bath is also very relaxing. The Room layout is lovely, and in the morning sunlight pours in—on a clear day, you can enjoy the sunrise. The food is delicious, and you can enjoy local Ureshino sake. The rice is especially outstanding. The yudofu at breakfast was the best.

Takechintei, located within the vast Mifuneyama Rakuen grounds, was a wonderful Accommodation filled with warm hospitality. The staff’s thoughtful care was exceptional, and we were truly grateful for service beyond what we could have hoped for. Although July was already extremely hot, the breeze in the forest was pleasant, and we enjoyed a refreshing walk among the trees. The meals were also a delight, with the chef’s finest dishes beautifully presented on carefully selected tableware such as Arita ware. Some dishes felt slightly sweet to me as someone from the Kanto region, but I felt they were of a refined restaurant quality that goes beyond typical Onsen Ryokan cuisine. Next time, I would love to stay during the season when 5,000 cherry blossoms or azaleas are in bloom. Thank you very much.

I stayed at Banshokaku Shikishima again this summer while visiting my hometown, and once again I truly felt it is an Accommodation where attentive care and consideration reach every detail. All of the staff were extremely polite and kind, and I could really feel their warmth and compassion. The meals were very thoughtfully prepared, delicious of course, and left me completely satisfied. The staff who welcomed me at the front desk and in the parking area also assisted me very courteously, which made me feel great. I also remember seeing a staff member giving directions to another guest—explaining slowly, clearly, and with great care. This time as well, I am simply grateful for the warm support from the front desk staff when I was leaving. Thanks to you all, I was able to relax comfortably at my own pace and feel refreshed. I would definitely like to stay at Banshokaku Shikishima again next time too. To everyone on the team, I look forward to seeing you again someday. Thank you very much.

This was an Accommodation I had wanted to stay at for a long time, and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was outstanding—from the Hotel atmosphere and meals to the staff’s warm hospitality, the special tea experience, the Room, and even the Onsen. I will definitely stay again. We returned to Koyokaku for the first time in a year. When it comes to Ureshino, Koyokaku is our favorite Accommodation as a couple. This time we stayed in a twin Room with a private indoor Onsen bath, and being able to enjoy the Onsen anytime is truly luxurious. For dinner, we enjoyed grilled Saga beef, colorful salads, and sashimi until we were completely full. After that, we took a relaxing walk together—something we don’t often do in everyday life—and realized again that this special time was possible thanks to this Accommodation. We were able to rest comfortably as well. Breakfast was just as wonderful: Onsen tofu, salad with roast beef, grilled fish, an Onsen egg, and rice porridge with six different toppings—such a luxury, and everything tasted amazing. This trip was another fantastic one. Thank you very much to all the staff for your kind hospitality again. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The Room was spacious, and we loved the greenery visible from the window. The meals were, as always, reliably delicious, and we were especially touched that you even prepared an anniversary plate for us this time. All of the staff were kind, making our stay very comfortable. With the private bath service included, along with early check-in and late check-out, we fully enjoyed our Diamond member benefits. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to stay at again.

The meals are very healthy, using locally sourced ingredients. However, many dishes require guests to cook for themselves, such as shabu-shabu and skewered fried items, and they felt like dishes we could make at home. In other words, there didn’t seem to be many creative or unique options. Using freshly harvested vegetables and eggs, I would like the head chef to offer a few more elaborate dishes. The Room and bath were wonderful, and we were able to relax while fully enjoying nature. This time, extra towels were brought free of charge upon request, but since we bathe in the Onsen multiple times, it would be appreciated if two towels per person were provided from the start. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family. We were very satisfied with the Accommodation, the Onsen, and the meals. The building had a charming atmosphere (the stairs were a bit challenging), and we enjoyed a clean Onsen of excellent quality and delicious, high-quality cuisine. We were especially surprised by how good the meat, tofu, and rice were. Above all, we truly appreciated the heartfelt hospitality from all the staff. We were happy to receive so much helpful advice about getting around inside the property. We are also very grateful for your thoughtful consideration in providing an irregular Shuttle Service to the station. Although it is far away, this is a wonderful Accommodation we would love to visit again. Thank you for such a lovely time!

I’d been wanting to stay here for a long time. I was able to make a Reservation right when my summer vacation started, so I finally went. Having access to both the lounge and the premium lounge was a great bonus. The staff were wonderful, and I rarely ran into other guests, so it was quiet and truly relaxing. The Room had a semi-open-air bath, and I could soak in the Onsen as much as I wanted at any time—my skin felt so smooth. The quality of Ureshino Onsen really is exceptional! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious from start to finish. Are the tableware Arita ware? It was beautiful and added to the experience. Most of all, I was surprised by how good the tea was. It seems there are Rooms with a sauna as well, so if you love hot springs, please consider staying here—you’ll be very satisfied. They also checked in advance about allergies and any ingredients I can’t eat, which I truly appreciated. This time my Room didn’t have a sauna, but it was more than spacious enough for two people. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance. Next time, definitely a Room with a sauna! This is an Accommodation I can confidently recommend.

I finally brought my daughter, who had been wanting to visit for a long time. The IKYU Diamond benefit was alcohol, but the staff member who showed us to our Room kindly asked if alcohol was okay. Since we don’t drink, they changed it to a non-alcoholic option, and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you. The hot spring water quality was as wonderful as ever, and the Room was clean and relaxing. The meals were delicious with a nice variety of changes, and they even took photos for us at the end—making it a very satisfying trip. We would love to visit again.

We visited on a three-generation girls’ trip. The Room had been renovated and was very clean. The meals were excellent, both in presentation and in quality. The meal for our 3-year-old child was also of a very high standard. Above all, the hot spring water left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again in a different season.

On the day of our stay, the parking lot was full, so we had to park quite far from the Hotel and arrived around 5:30 PM—about an hour later than planned. At check-in, the 6 PM and 7 PM dinner slots were already fully booked, so we ended up dining at 8 PM. Breakfast slots at 7 AM and 8 AM were also full, so ours was at 9 AM. Since we had time before dinner, it was nice to use the bath first and relax. However, if you want to choose your meal times, arriving as early as possible is recommended. The large public bath had an open-air bath and a sauna (we didn’t use the sauna). There were no partitions between washing stations, but the sinks and changing area felt clean and comfortable. Near the front desk on the first floor, there were karaoke rooms, table tennis, an arcade area, a manga corner, massage chairs, and more. This time we used karaoke for one hour. There were seven rooms in total, and our family enjoyed it without any issues. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and carts for carrying trays were available—which was convenient. Dinner included crispy shrimp tempura as well as sushi and sashimi. On the other hand, there weren’t many side dishes that go well with rice, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast did have plenty of rice-friendly options with a good variety overall, so we really enjoyed it. This time five of us stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room. The Room was surprisingly spacious; all Rooms are shoes-off only inside (no outdoor shoes), which made it very comfortable to use. There was a sofa and table in the center where we played UNO together as a family. We were extremely satisfied with the Room—it became a wonderful family travel memory for us.

This Ryokan is a beautifully renovated long-established inn. The guest rooms are on the second floor, and access to all public areas on the first floor is by stairs only, so it is not recommended for guests who have difficulty with stairs; otherwise, everything was excellent. Dinner was so plentiful we couldn’t finish it, and it was delicious. We also really enjoyed that the tableware was made from local pottery. The yudofu (tofu hot pot) at breakfast was also very tasty, and we ended up eating too much. Check-out was at 10:00, and we wished it had been 11:00 so we could have had a more relaxed morning.

The sauna-equipped room we came for was refined in both design and functionality, and it was amazing to enjoy the sauna, cold plunge, and outdoor air bath right in the room. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. With its stylish design and calm, high-quality atmosphere, we enjoyed an excellent meal. The tableware and presentation were thoughtfully done as well, making it a feast for all five senses. The Hotel’s interior and overall ambiance are wonderful, so it seems popular with female guests too. We will definitely book the sauna-equipped room again.

They kindly accommodated our last-minute changes to the Accommodation booking and provided attentive support, including the Shuttle Service, which made us feel truly cared for. My mother, who has stayed at many Hotels, was especially pleased—she said the Room was spotless, bright, spacious, and very comfortable, and that she would like to stay again. We also felt the hot spring water quality was better than at other Accommodations. Since it was available from early morning until late at night, we were able to bathe four times. We were also very happy that plenty of towels were provided. Due to our misunderstanding, we asked to confirm the charges, but everything was explained clearly and politely, which reassured us—thank you very much. One small request: when staying with multiple people, having only one Room key was a bit inconvenient. Next time, we would like to book a Plan that includes meals.

It was rainy on the day we arrived, so we couldn’t use the open-air bath we had been looking forward to, which was a bit disappointing. The next morning, I went to the open-air bath first thing at 6:00 and enjoyed it. With the indoor bath on B1 and the open-air bath on the 9th floor, it felt a little inconvenient to use.

I stayed during Golden Week and thought it was a bit pricey even though the Room didn’t have an Onsen, but it exceeded my expectations in a great way! The rooftop Onsen had a wonderful view and was excellent. I usually don’t like buffet meals because the food can be mediocre and the atmosphere often feels unsettled, but this Hotel had a wide variety of options and everything was delicious, so I was very satisfied. I’d love to stay here again.

Our second stay, following last year. Last time we chose a no-meals Plan and brought meat, vegetables, and other ingredients from home to enjoy a BBQ on the terrace. The terrace had a large gas grill, plus a table and chairs always set up. It was pouring rain outside, but the space was completely sheltered from wind and rain, so we could BBQ comfortably as if we were indoors. This time, since we planned to spend dinner with friends’ family in Omura City, we chose a breakfast-only Plan. Right after arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and provided careful guidance and explanations about the Facility, while our dog enjoyed playing ball in the outdoor yard. Last time we booked a Room with a large garden but couldn’t use it due to heavy rain, so this time we chose one without a garden. Even so, there was still enough yard space for ball play, and there was also a dog run next to the Accommodation building. In addition to an indoor hinoki bath in the Room, there was even an open-air bath, so we could relax in the baths after returning from dinner and again in the morning. For breakfast, more than enough ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator, along with plenty of seasonings and tableware—so we made a luxurious morning meal at our preferred time and in our own way. For reference: my daughter had cheese toast with grilled bacon plus a fresh vegetable salad, yogurt, and soup; my husband had hot sandwiches with fried eggs plus salad and coffee—everyone ate what they liked and was very satisfied. One note: there were thorny plants growing in parts of the yard and dog run; it can be dangerous unless removed before letting dogs play. We ended up trimming some ourselves while saying it would be nice if it were mowed shorter overall. Even so, it’s an excellent Facility—we will definitely stay again.

I usually choose a Hotel, but this time I made a Reservation to stay at an Onsen Ryokan. My girlfriend especially loved the Onsen, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the Room, so it was great that we could each spend our time the way we liked. Dinner had just the right number of dishes, and everything was delicious to the end. We had to walk a little from the parking lot to the entrance, but otherwise it was very comfortable, and we’d like to stay again in a different season.
