I often stay here the night before a flight because it’s close to the airport. It’s clean, has a large public bath, and is very relaxing. I honestly wish I could stay a little longer. This time, there were also complimentary drinks, so I enjoyed some quiet time alone in the lounge. I’d like to stay here again.

Everything exceeded my expectations—I was truly impressed. The welcome coffee was delicious. The ice cream after the bath was great, and they also offered complimentary late-night noodles. (I’d eaten a big dinner so I couldn’t try them—too bad.) The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the amenities were well stocked. Breakfast had plenty of premium ingredients and felt very luxurious. Next time, I’ll visit during the colder season.

Even after making the reservation, whenever we contacted them to confirm details, they were extremely helpful, which made us look forward to our stay. From arrival through the next day, every staff member was kind and welcoming. The complimentary drinks service was just as other reviews said—everything from beer to juice, still water and sparkling water—so both adults and children were satisfied. I was also happy they had coffee freshly ground from beans. The room was clean, and it was soothing to have a small area outside the bath where you could step out for a bit. We had requested children’s amenities in advance, and they even included adorable slippers, which made our child very happy. For our dogs, it wasn’t just small crates—there were larger kennels as well. As long as we used a belly band/diaper belt, they could relax freely in the room, which gave us peace of mind. We initially wondered if the meals might be on the lighter side, but there was more than enough. From salad to fruit, it felt like a stylish course meal and everything was delicious. It rained that day, but the staff moved the grill to a spot where we wouldn’t get wet so we could still cook outside. Breakfast was delivered in a cute basket; this also felt like a course meal and we were completely satisfied. There’s also a dog run nearby, and our dogs really enjoyed it while looking at the beautiful trees. More places are becoming pet-friendly and family-friendly these days, but Kanata no Sato is somewhere both dogs and children can stay comfortably without stress—we’ll definitely be back. Next time, we’re looking forward to having a BBQ under a beautiful night sky. Thank you for giving us such quiet, gentle healing time.

This was a wonderfully rustic Onsen that Onsen lovers will adore. The naturally gushing spring water flows abundantly, and you can truly feel the power of nature. It also gets very lively with day-trip visitors. We stayed with the conger eel (hamo) course, and what surprised us most—given the simple exterior—was how outstanding the cuisine was. It was like a high-end kaiseki meal: beautifully presented, with seasonal touches so refined it almost felt too beautiful to eat. The soup course even featured delicate dew-like droplets, and as we enjoyed an authentic kaiseki course, we were warmed by the chefs’ heartfelt hospitality. It was our first time having an all-hamo menu from start to finish in so many different preparations! Even delicacies like liver and swim bladder were included—proof of exceptional freshness. The hot pot ingredients featured white vegetables and tofu chosen to match the hamo’s translucent look; even that alone felt like early summer had arrived, and it was subtly garnished with fresh green maple leaves misted lightly for a dewy finish. We were truly moved. Our whole family agreed there’s no more luxurious hamo course than this. With spring quality worthy of being called a hidden hot spring and cuisine that delights both the eyes and palate, it felt incredibly indulgent—and we’re grateful it’s so close to Osaka. The staff were wonderful, and the Accommodation was impeccably clean throughout. This was the most impressive stay we’ve had in recent years!

It was my first stay, and the Shuttle Service from the station was very helpful. The most outstanding part was the meals. The abalone liver sauce was especially delicious. The Onsen quality was excellent, leaving my skin smooth and soft, which made me very satisfied. I have booked a different Room type for my next visit. Looking forward to staying again!

I used this place for a reunion, and the sunset view from the Room was truly beautiful. The next morning, the weather was great, and the ocean view was stunning. The staff who assisted us responded to numerous requests and questions with kindness and without hesitation. The food was not only delicious but also included thoughtful touches like ice cream service, which made it very satisfying. The bathwater was quite hot (personal preference), and I thought having curtains in the changing area would be even better, but everything felt clean overall. The beautiful scenery and delicious food became truly memorable experiences. Thank you very much!

This was my fifth stay. Despite the high price, it was the worst so far. What was good: The Onsen hopping was as good as always. What was bad: At dinner, I ordered a draft beer, but it took a long time to arrive. When I rang the bell to call staff, the female attendant said, “Was it not served yet?” in an extremely unfriendly manner. Also, although I requested the same Room as last time, I was given one where the sink and toilet were in the same space. There were also steep steps inside, which was difficult for elderly guests. There were no power outlets near the bed, which was inconvenient. The TV couldn’t play YouTube (even though I have an account), which was very disappointing. It felt like an ordinary Room with only a massage chair. I will think twice about staying again next time.
